“Tasty veggie burger made with mashed potatoes and veggies with a crunchy breading. Standard frozen burger, but it was prepared with care, which makes the difference between something you enjoy and would order again and something that you can just get down. Garnished with onion and served with lettuce, tomato, and cucumber salad and some very nicely-cooked chips. Appreciated after a long day of cruising down the Thames in the hot sun. Along with a glass of cider! Additional vegetarian and vegan options would be appreciated, but we enjoyed what they had.”
“This restaurant serves the best breakfasts around! Unlike other places that use the cost of living crisis as an excuse to hike up prices, here you still get the same generous portions and great quality food. It's refreshing to see a business that hasn't compromised on value, so thank you for that! My only criticism is that the food can be a little too oily at times. Is there any way this could be improved? If that were addressed, the breakfast experience here would be flawless! Overall, fantastic value and delicious food—just a bit lighter on the oil would make it perfect!”
“Had a very nice time at Mollys cafe. Coffee was lovely, sausage baps delicious, and the staff were friendly and welcoming... there is plenty of parking nearby too on either side of the street.. Will visit again soon, thanks!”
“It's a very good bistro that is children and dog friendly. Lots of mums and babies/todlers use it especially on Mondays. The car park is for residents of Poppy Meadows only. The food is home cooked and the coffee is excellent plus a great range of cakes. There are special nights laid on see their blackboard for details.”
“Zero degrees Microbrewery Review: A Blend of Great Brews, Bites, and Atmosphere Recently, I had the pleasure of taking my uncle, visiting from India, to a local microbrewery with a restaurant, and it turned out to be an exceptional experience. The brewery's ambience was a standout feature—industrial yet inviting, with gleaming tanks, pipes, and brewing equipment creating an immersive setting for craft beer enthusiasts. The atmosphere felt lively yet relaxed, perfect for a casual outing. We started with a couple of drinks, and the brewery's offerings did not disappoint. Each sip reflected the artistry of small-batch brewing. For food, we opted for a wood-fired mushroom pizza, buttermilk chicken, and classic French fries. The pizza was a revelation, with a crisp, charred crust and fresh toppings that made every bite flavorful. The buttermilk chicken was succulent, tender, and seasoned to perfection, while the fries were crisp and addictive—an ideal accompaniment to our drinks. The service added another layer of charm to our visit. The staff were attentive, friendly, and efficient, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.”
“Always a great place to eat, good prices, good food, serving meals or snacks or just drinks. Friendly cosy place.”
“Was searching for a place to have breakfast and stumbled upon this little gem here! This cafe exudes warmth and friendliness. Perfect spot for a cozy catch-up or a serene solo moment. A true neighborhood treasure ^^⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Food served was incredibly fresh and flavorful. I’m definitely becoming their regular customer! Looking forward to try different dishes on the menu:)”
“Always a good experience here with the food. Staff were polite and attentive and the atmosphere is just perfect. We always end up at the All Bar One whenever we’re having a Breakfast/Brunch out. The food is great and what attracted us the most was the vegetarian and healthy juices. Today we had the shared meze board and root juice....absolutely yummy!”
“All together we had a great dinner family time. We ordered a starter and 2 juicy burgers for us adults and kids eat free during school holidays which is kind and nice from the restaurant, especially for families with kids. Even if one of the burgers was not the way it was meant to be, the branch manager apologised and kindly replaced it for my wife and did not even charged for her entire order, including the drink. That was both polite and going above and beyond, as this can be a point of deciding if you ever come back to a restaurant based on your experience, and it all falls on the way the staff (including management) approach the issue and find a swift solution. Reason why we scored 5 stars and we thank Tillie for finding us a table last minute even if we had no booking on a Friday night.”
“Cool place with a good atmosphere. The burgers we ordered were really good. My only problem was that the location wasn’t obvious and easy to find the first time.”
“A nicely located pub just in the heart of Prospect Park. The place has plenty of free parking (don’t forget to register at check in). The menu is quite ‘suculent’ with lots of options and nicely cooked food (not a fish ‘n’ chip bar). The view is great over the park with a quiet ambiance. You can have salad as much as you like which is a vegan’s paradise. Waiting time for taking the order is a bit long but quite polite so doesn’t feel rushed in any way. Book and enjoy a nice lunch or dinner with family, friends or just on your own.”
“Fantastic experience stopping in for lunch. The OXBO burger was probably the best burger I have eaten recently, the addition of rarebit made for a delicious twist on a conventional cheese burger. Highly recommended. Very friendly and helpful staff. The staff were attentive, but not intrusively so. I felt looked after. The cafe has a lovely calm atmosphere, but not boringly so. There were a few customers in giving it a good vibe, but without being hectic - I didn't wait long for service or for my food to arrive. It would be an ideal place for someone looking to have a working lunch, and there are spaces set out with power outlets for those with busy working schedules. Very conveniently located a few minutes away from Green Park, making for a nice change to eating in the company cafe if you are working nearby.”
“I’ve hosted many events at Brewdog Reading and always get fantastic personal service. Any time I bring an industry contact here it always goes down well. I was convinced to join a beer tasting event hosted by Madoc and had a really fantastic time. Knowledgable, generous and we all stayed afterwards for more recommendations. Will definitely come to more of these events.”
“The ownership & excellent Food & Service are still the same just a change of name from The Chocolate Cafe. We popped in for breakfast today as not been in for a while. The sausage breakfast bap was so fresh & the sausages superb. Sliced so easy to eat and put together with care. The Bacon Bap the same, husband had the delicious home made hash browns with his. Great coffee & take away a slice of cake. Come with an appetite & expect good things!!”
“Having a great breakfast on a Sunday morning. We ordered two Java small breakfast, it came in a good portion, 2 fried eggs, 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 hash brown, mushrooms, beans and tomato and a toast. It’s only £8.50 including a good coffee (Flat White, whatever coffee you want), it’s a very good price. The food was great. The food was serving hot and quick, didn’t wait long. The staff were nice and friendly. The atmosphere was great, nice music and relax. There’s parking facilities and also hand car wash next to the restaurant.”
“Lovely staff, nice place, good views, excellent coffee.”
“Needed a place to rest after coin day. Very nice chairs. This is the centre of the royal berks. When you walk around here you see all the nurses and doctors and it makes you so humble. They do such an incredible job and our whole nation owes them our gratitude. They are so hard working. They are so kind and caring. More to follow on the coffee as it’s too hot to drink. Very tranquil place. Nice staff. Good selection of food items. I can only imagine that people who come here must be going through a lot. I bet this cafe has seen a lot. P.s the staff work very hard mopping floors and looking after everybody in the cafe. Good charging point for phone. Good coffee. Good water. P.p.s it’s getting very quiet now in the cafe. The shop with the lovely lady has closed. There are less people coming and going now. Cafe staff kindly made me a coffee before closing. Still looking for somewhere or some way to leave my magic coins. Hopefully Judy can help but I think she might be busy in an and e or enjoying time off. P.p.p.s the cafe girl is working very hard sorting out the bins. There seems to be a lot to do.”
“Great grub, friendly service! Nice to see they have a pay it forward initiative for those in need.”
“Lovely family run cafe. Foods cooked to order. They offer gluten free. Hot food clean place friendly people what more can you ask for?”
“Stunning food. Had the naga curry. Good heat but not over powering / load of flavour and freshly cooked.”
“Lovely cafe for breakfast! Love the decor, staff were friendly and food was very tasty. Great to have vegan options.”
“Amazing restaurant!! We came here last minute as where we had planned to go was fully booked but I’m so glad we ended up here instead! The servers were so great! Joel was amazing and accommodating to our order changes! The food came out quickly and was so delicious, I’m craving it right now writing this review! We will definitely be back !”
“Anima and Tia were amazing and made sure we felt safe and were served with efficiency and were extremely fast given our big group order”
“Lovely hotel and the themed suites are pricy but a novel treat if you want some space with a different ambience. Fantastic breakfast. No parking on site but there is a multistory on the opposite side of reading train station, so it's only a five minute walk. Great location of you want the reading night life.”
“Great food and people. On wednesdays they do a £5 burger and it’s insanely good. Staff are also incredible and it’s a great place to go.”
“Hi, I had the most wonderful experience at Viv’s at The Grange! From the moment I walked in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel instantly at home. The décor is elegant and stylish without feeling pretentious — a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The service is absolutely excellent. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about making sure everything went smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, and they anticipated our needs throughout the evening. Onto the food — simply divine! The menu is innovative, beautifully presented, and each dish is bursting with flavour. Ingredients are clearly high-quality, and each course was prepared with care. I especially loved the starters, which were a perfect introduction to what came next, and dessert was a treat I’ll remember for a long time. Drinks selection is very good too — the cocktails are creative, the wine list is well-curated, and there were options to suit everyone’s taste. All in all, Viv’s at The Grange, Wokingham exceeded all expectations. Whether for a romantic dinner, a celebration, or just a treat — I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’m already planning to come back!”
“Friendly staff, nice coffee, pleasure to go there”
“We went to a friend's Wedding Reception here. This place is perfect for a party. The food was excellent and staff were lovely. It has a great seating area with tables and room for a DJ,dance floor or band. It also has a small outside area at the back. I would highly recommend it.”
