“Visited 30/07/25 for my birthday. Had the place to ourselves. The food was very good and tasty, served hot from the kitchen. Service was relaxed and the waitress wasn't pushy and trying to get us out the door. Wonderful time had by all, would definitely go back again!”

“Good food, excellent service, pretty tables, clean, and wide variety. We ate chicken with chili and basil, chicken with spring onions and ginger, fried rice and spring rolls. There were 8 or so types offried rice and even more types of noodles. £7-8 per "Mains." There were lots of customers for take away orders while we were there.”

“JustEat Order… Food was great, all cooked perfectly, chicken falling apart and smooth sauces. Good portion sizes & free prawn crackers so you can’t complain. Delivery was on time as well so no hold ups in the kitchen. Will definitely order more food in the future.”

“We walked past the truck and were struck by the absolutely delicious smell of fresh falafel and something on the grill. I stopped immediately and asked my husband if he wanted to try a wrap from Puree. As we were only visiting Reading, I genuinely did not know how delicious the wraps are, and how highly rated the place is. We only took away one falafel and halloumi wrap, but I wish we had ordered more! The wrap was delicious even after our two-hour journey back home (I recommend eating on the spot as it probably would've tasted even better fresh!) The portions are generous here, with more than adequate sauce and fillings. The lady who served us was polite, welcoming and friendly. I also appreciate the Jaffa St. sign displayed on the truck. We will definitely come here again the next time we're in Reading.”

“We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!”

“Took my favourite summer rolls as a starter, they were fantastic. Rich taste of peanut sauce perfectly combined with mild taste of the prawns. Delicious! As a main I had steak pho, it was yummy. I was really happy with generous amount of well done steak. Noodles were cooked perfectly, they were not overdone and melted in my mouth. I would also like to mention Margherita, who was really friendly and helpful, she even helped me to charge my phone. Great service! Thank you guys.”

“I went with my kids for the Sunday buffet, the great thing is its all freshly made, rather than sitting there, a small selection of food but more than enough for any person. The staff are attentive and amazing, friendly, the food tastes soooooooooooooo good, I am currently writing this just before I step into a food coma on my sofa! Loved it, would recommend 5*”

“Wow! A fabulous restaurant with excellent and friendly servers. The food was the best Chinese food we've had. Try the boozy chicken for something different and delicious. We also had the duck pancakes, Malaysian Nasi goreng and cashew chicken. All of which were very tasty. Lovely clean white linen tablecloths too. We had an excellent experience here and would.highly recommend this restaurant.”

Dishes are cooked when ordered which is great, portion sizes were perfect and gave us an opportunity to try different things. Would definately book if visiting as gets busy and not a big restaurant.”

“Really enjoyed the Thai Green curry, which they were happy to swap aubergine for peppers which I was pleased about and shows the food is freshly cooked to order. Very friendly service and the banana fritters were delicious. Haven’t had these for years so such a nice treat! With the friendly service, the very clean and comfortable dining area and so many dishes to choose from this has to be one of my favourite Thai restaurants.”

“I stopped in for a light dinner and was not disappointed. Service was on point throughout the meal. The pork cheeks were delightfully tender and the sauce plate-scrapingly good. I added the sticky rice to round out the dish, and this proved to be the perfect accompaniment. The dessert, although tasty, was not what I expected when I ordered a Salted Caramel Soufflé as it was not a soufflé but rather an ice cream sandwich type thing. They should change the description to be more apropos and not disappoint anyone who is waiting for a warm soufflé. (My absolute favourite dessert.)”
