“Great vets. Friendly, professional and caring. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Have used them for many years.”
“For any owners/breeders (including beginners like myself) who are seeking a more comprehensive education in alpaca’s, please take advantage of the intensive camelid care course that the Alpaca Vet UK has to offer. I have just completed it and can honestly say I have learned some truly fundamental and invaluable teachings and practices that I have now adopted and utilise in my day to day care for our starter herd of 9. I am also in Spain with a vet that is still learning about camelids, so to have access to the formulary that this course also supplies and to ask Claire questions during the fortnightly Q&A was hugely beneficial. I feel more confident and capable of providing better care for my beloved “pacaniños” since embarking on this course. The online portal is incredibly user-friendly abd easy to navigate and the course guide is great for keeping in our barns and referring back to when I need it. The beauty of this course, it’s entirely online, so it provides flexibility around my hours of availability and I was able to study remotely from Spain - a double Win!”
“Such a pure passionate and honest team that truly care and devote themselves that are kind and caring to animals. I’ve never been to a vets that are utterly genuine yes vets can be at a price but the team are all about making sure they treat the animal and all about prevention. Lots of love your favourite patients S&B”
“The entire process, from reception team, finance, the clinicians and all staff ( nursing included) made the difficult experience as stress free as possible. I don’t ever doubt being referred to the Ralph and i’ve been to a few other referrals before. There is no hesitation. Through a long battle of ups and downs with my boy Snow, some incredible surgeons and clinicians, he has a good quality of life that he wouldn’t have had-he quite literally wouldn’t be here without them. A holistic approach to veterinary medicine, taking into consideration not only the owners choice, and lifestyle, but the wider picture- all the while keeping the animals quality of life a priority. The team truly care about their patients. For snows care: To list a few and give my thanks: Heather Covey, Isla, Javier (Clinician) Eirini Pappa ( Surgeon) Heather S, Sarah G, Emma( Medicine nurse) Becky ( Internal medicine Nurse) Nieka The dentistry and Ophthalmology department, Azzura, for a few of my cats. Neurology department, Irene. Lizzie, Angie, Emma, Helen ( Reception, Finance/ admin). ( If I haven’t mentioned their names it’s just because i’m not great in remembering! But they have all been amazing). Thank you for everything that you have done and continue to do for my animals! A pet is a privilege. The costs are for expert care and specialists in their field, with a range of equipment and runnings costs behind the scenes. I appreciate everything the team does and continue to do for my animals, especially when it comes to Snow. I really hope that the staff are all compensated for what they do, whether that be in their opinions on the daily practice or their wages as they truly are incredible. ( In case any management are seeing this!)”
“My puppy of 5 months got hit by a car on the main A325 farnborough rd. We called our vets in the car on the way to them who then said take her to the vet hospital in farnham which we did ... absolutely 1st class treatment and amazing lovely staff. Couldn't fault it. We met a lovely vet who went through everything with us and was extremely informative and caring. This place is amazing and such a support in a worrying and dramatic time. The best I've been to. A massive thanks to all staff for today. Pippa will be on her road to recovery.”
“Such a caring vets. Makes pets and their owners so welcome. Have been a customer for years. I moved away a couple of years ago but still visit for Stanleys annual checks and ad hoc appointments. Sally.”
“Our cat Peanut came back after many days and nights out with a smashed in face and covered in blood. At Drove they wired up his jaw and fixed him up perfect very quickly and now he has a normal cat face. We were very pleased and happy. The little wire can just be seen at the bottom of his jaw in the picture taken shortly afterwards.”
“Ashworth have been very good with my extremely anxious girl. The reception staff are always warm and welcoming and make a fuss of my fur babies. Could not recommend more. Parking can be an issue but that can’t be helped given the ideal location.”
“Ashworth at Cove have always been amazing with our pets. Our Rottweilers, Roxy and Ellie loved visiting, our cats obviously not so much!! The staff there are all so kind and helpful and it’s always lovely to receive their condolences card when one of them goes off over the rainbow.”
“Got same day appointments on both occasions that my little dwarf hamster was unwell. The staff treated and handled him very gently, and got back to me quickly when I called up for advice regarding his medication. They clearly care very much about their patients, no matter how great or small. Cannot recommend enough!”
“The team at Henley Vets have been treating my animals for over 20 years now - through the good times and the hard times. I have always valued their ability to combine their professional expertise with my knowledge of any of my pets.... most recently with my elderly dog. Their common sense and caring approach combined with a genuine desire to consider the best way forward for him has been such a relief.....for him and me! Despite his sometimes challenging behaviour the whole team are always so enthusiastic and friendly when we arrive. I really can't recommend them enough.”
“My dog had to have an emergency appointment last night & the Vets Now Reading team were brilliant. They were efficient, friendly, & caring. Joanne was the receptionist on duty & was extremely kind & helpful. Special thanks to Maddie the nurse for caring for my dog with such affection & treating him like her own :)”

“Everybody at Medivet Crowthorne is very friendly and helpful. Patrycja took great care of our dog Harry and gave us good advice on how to treat his ailment going forward. I’d definitely recommend this veterinary practice.”
“I would like to write some positive experiences with Lower Earley branch. Proactively remind me about next collection of medication. Answers all questions over telephone calls. I had to do 2 claims recently and learning about the process, when you raise any claims on pet insurance portal if you give direct branch email, process will be smooth because branch is very responsive once they receive email from insurance provider. Very happy with service.”
“Best recommendation - our two dogs love going to the vets!! We've moved to Essex now but still return to Blackwater Valley Vets for non emergency treatments. Everyone is so dedicated & friendly.”
“Best vets I’ve ever used . Friendly caring nothings too much trouble . Very clean tidy. Follow up appointments and care even with calls . Mary at front desk very helpful and full of smiles my dogs love their visits.”
“Yearly jab for my dog was easy to book and was on time. I know you sometimes get emergencies but I love it when it all runs smoothly and on time.”
“I and my family first went to vets when it was in Barnards Way Wantage. Over the years it became Medivets where it is now. I am now with my fifth Miniature Schnauzer. Since 1997. We found that over the years our vets have been there through good times and bad . We could not have made it without all your help and kindness. All our dogs have pulled to get in to see the Vets. Which says an awfull lot. Thank you very much Bill Kitching”
“Chris felstead- I have been with him for 10 years. Other vets fail to correctly diagnose and their response to all appointments has been in leave in Overnight or carry out extortionate tests. 99% have failed to identify, where Chris has always recommended at home treatments where possible. I no longer have insurance since it was tripled with no explanation and no ongoing illnesses, and so all treatments are self funded. I really wish that veterinary practices were more fairly/reasonably priced, but understand that this is a huge money making industry. I am very nervous and sceptical about booking any other vet than Chris. Have standards / qualifications dropped in this field or do many no longer care? Perhaps their owning companies have set financial targets per appointment?”
“I have used Castle Vets for over 20 years. Everyone is lovely and kind and I always feel like they love my pets (nearly) as much as I do! It’s a bit out of the way from where I live now, but I still can’t bring myself to change. My dog might never forgive me!”
“Bruno has been very well looked after at The Four Paws, he came home tired and happy, he can be an anxious dog at times so it was good to know he’s made friends and played. Thank you!”
“I just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to Sarah and your amazing team. We brought our kitty, Sapphire, in as an emergency on Saturday night and were absolutely beside ourselves. As a neurodiverse family, the situation felt incredibly frightening and overwhelming. We had even been turned away elsewhere because we couldn’t afford to pay the full costs upfront. From the moment we arrived, Sarah showed such kindness, empathy, and genuine concern for Sapphire’s wellbeing. She made us feel safe during one of the most stressful moments we’ve ever experienced. Your receptionist was equally wonderful—calm, caring, and patient in explaining the costs and guiding us through who to contact to arrange the remaining payment. It was a terrifying night, made harder by the added stress of being a low-income family, but Sarah, your receptionist, and the entire team who supported us and cared for Sapphire were an absolute credit to your practice. Thank you so much for treating us with compassion and dignity when we needed it the most.”
