“Great shop loads on bottom floor to choose and good value plants. Upstairs only a few items and not really worth a look up there unless your looking for bathroom or kitchen stuff. Not much in sale yet.”

“Decent place to get basic DIY materials and reasonably priced things for hosepipe and large heavy-duty bin bags. A perfect place if you are self-employed like a plumber or electrician for your work supplies. I know if I need anything, to check this place first. It has good parking and is easy to find.”

“A fantastic store with a massive range of items in stock. It's nit cramped and crowded like some stores with loads of room to move around. The in store cafe seems nice with average prices (I looked but didnt partake at the time). I went for the craft section for a specific item, while not in stock I did find something else I'd been looking for making the trip well worth it. Staffbwere pleasant and helpful and the prices are as expected. Overall a very positive experience and opinion on the store as a whole.”

“We booked an appointment with Dawid for a consultation about a new kitchen. He was so patient as he produced a 3d image of how we wanted our kitchen to be. My husband asked lots of questions and Dawid was helpful and knowledgeable throughout. We were also pleasantly surprised with the price and Dawid suggested alternatives to bring the price down if necessary. The coffee was good too!”

“Great shop, friendly staff. Not great for fresh produce, but they have all kinds of tinned stuff and a selection of options for staples like bread and milk. ALSO an Alladins cave of toys and tools. Real old school shop that has a bit of everything you could ever want, and all the stuff you never realised you even needed! Good for beers and wines too”

“Our experience with Gateford Mill Kitchens has been outstanding from start to finish, from meeting Lorraine on our first visit, Dave doing the planning at our home, then going to choose our kitchen, with the knowledge and expertise of Lorraine which made it such a pleasure. The speed at which the project was carried out and the excellent work by the tradesmen, including Jack, Tim, Johnny and Dan is amazing. “A nice little convenience Tesco store, has pretty much everything in it U need but not a massive variety of things. Saying that, I pretty much find everything I need in there. They do tend to have quite a nice selection of bakery items still available around tea time which is a bonus. Service is great and plenty of self service tills. Lots of parking too with an atm outside.”

Lisa helped me choose a better Dryer than I'd gone in for based on her brand/product knowledge and the area it will be fitted. I went in looking at a Vented unit, but without a hole in the wall, a condensing unit was the better choice...and not much more expensive.”

“Massive thank you to (forgive me if i spell his name wrong) but Walled in currys. You helped me and my brother today in the shop outstandingly and got us exactly what we wanted! Just wanted to also say to the whole of parkgate do better for your staff parking/safety, as whilst we was there was 16 year olds tried repeatedly (second day going) attempted to steal Walleds motorbike! Absolutely not on he is earning a living and he had to run out the shop to get his bike back. Someone else’s bike was also tampered with and just dumped on the floor. Takes the mick and staff should be supported appropriately and provided safer facilities to park up without bother. The fact this is 2 days running is appalling.”

“We wanted to write a review to thank Marie in the kitchen department for being very helpful and professional with us during our appointments. Nothing was to much trouble and explained everything to a very high standard. She went the extra mile from coffees, ensuring parking reg confirmed to adding our dogs into the illustrations and also checked regularly if we were comfortable. On multiple times we changed our ideas and requirements and Marie happily supported us and changed everything with no trouble at all. We have decided not to purchase from B and Q this time (product related) but just wanted to give feedback on the excellent customer service we received in store from Marie, Compared to other places we visited.”

Diane sent me visuals for three different designs and worked patiently with me as we chose what we liked from each alternative to produce the final kitchen design. I think Diane excels at design and she had useful suggestions such as a charging drawer and other things that I didn’t even know were available. She offers an inclusive service so the supply of appliances, worktops, fitting and flooring were all managed by her after we chose what we wanted. She provides a personal service to a very high standard. She is easy to talk to and responds quickly to queries and was very generous with her time even getting me quotes for different things so that I could have all the information I needed to make my decisions. It felt that it was as important to her that I got the kitchen I wanted as it was to me.”
