“With a tap selection that is on rotation its a nice surprise to find a new taste each week. The platter boards and honey sausages are lovely. They have regular evening events with karaoke, Greek and Curry nights, live music etc. The Laura and Paul are very knowledgable about any beer related questions you have and are constantly on the search for the next barrel to bring in. Also dog friendly - but they are only allowed the biscuits due to licensing laws.”

“Charlie’s cafe do an amazing job delivering my uncles meals every day, the food is delicious, great portions and good value for money, the service is great, they are very caring, always make sure my uncle gets a meal even on days they are closed like Bank holidays. Would highly recommend”

“The store has a great choice of different styles colours and Prices.. covering everything you could want in buying a settee... Without the so called big name stores that have perminate "SALES ON" . And the guys that delivered it where hard working and asking if anymore could be done in helping where the settee needed to be... A great experiance all round .. thanks Phil Goodwin”

“Blown Away by The Garrison, Wickersley! ​I honestly can't say enough good things about our recent meal at The Garrison, Wickersley. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. ​The restaurant itself is incredibly cosy, and the entire team was just amazing and attentive. A huge shoutout to Joss, who was absolutely brilliant! Due to a last-minute business trip to Sheffield, we needed a table, and he went above and beyond to fit us in and was so helpful in explaining the menu. ​The food quality truly blew me away. Everything tasted superb, proving the dedication to using fantastic quality local produce. “Excellent service from start to finish. Darrell was amazing with the design of our main bathroom but then blew us away with the en suite - the finished result of both bathrooms is stunning. Our fitter Mark - and his wife Vicky - were exceptional. The quality and standard were above expectations . They are the reason we went for the en suite so soon as we didn’t want anyone else to do the job given the high standard. I’m sure other fitters offer a great service but we didn’t want anyone else! Customer service throughout has been great. Highly recommend this company.”

“A great place with some lovely furniture and jewellery that is beautiful and unique, also some beautiful rugs .Huckleberry willow has been in Chesterfield since 1976 in the 1980s it was known as Wild Mountain Thyme before becoming Huckleberry willow again in the early 1990s”

“So tasty is a true credit to the community. They do sandwiches and breakfast rolls that are cooked to perfection. My favourite is the belly buster sandwich!! They also do a wide range of cakes, pasties and drinks & even Sunday dinners for collection or delivery. Lovely staff and always on hand to take orders for collection or delivery over the phone.”

“This is a fantastic hidden gem. It has a elsan point and fresh water points. We have always booked sites with electric and premier pitches so this was out of our comfort zone as its a basic site but goodness me. It's turned out to be be our favorite site. We came to an 80s weekend in July and are now attending the Oktoberfest event this weekend. Breakfast, tea and cake and dinner cobs are on offer throughout the weekend. The owners are so obliging and friendly, Make time for the campers, put games and make it a really fun weekend. Would highly recommend this site.”

“I booked a solo dining experience on the kitchen bench at the end of August. This was my first foray into fine dining and I was not disappointed. From the moment I was greeted at the door, I was made to feel incredibly welcome. The taster menu and whole kitchen bench experience was just wonderful. It was more relaxed than I was expecting which suited me perfectly! The food was exceptional - I was presented with a wide range of dishes which gave me the opportunity to try things that I hadn't before and I enjoyed every moment. Whilst the food itself was wonderful, it was the restaurant and kitchen staff that really took my visit to another level. Everyone was very warm and friendly, not to mention attentive. I was looked after incredibly well, especially by John's team in the kitchen. Thank you for such a fantastic experience and I definitely plan to return.”

“Genuinely one of the nicest hot chocolates I have ever had. I travel a lot for work and it’s always nice to stop off to grab a bite or a hot drink so I have certainly found a good spot here. Staff were an absolute credit to the brand with excellent service, it’s so refreshing to see some staff not being scripted or robotic nowadays, they showed plenty of humour and personality. The owner Ross is also a real funny character! Certainly will be visiting again when I’m passing by the area!”

“Had food here. It was so good. Like really really good. I had the pizza and my partner had pie and mash. Portions were fair and the food was really good quality and fresh. No honestly it was, the pizza was amazing I really do recommend checking it out. They do vegan and gluten free options and the staff are really sweet and helpful too. The chips are so tasty. I am still thinking about them 50 minutes later. Dog friendly also.”
