“A neat and tidy indoor area to dine in. The staff are very welcoming and polite, when you enter they ask if you are eating in or eating out - I was eating inside on a table for 2, (we could sit wherever we wanted! No restrictions!) and were given menus to choose from. There were some items not on the menu however and the menu was out of date with some prices however they quickly rectified this issue by explaining to me what other options they had as well as any extras I could have. I got the double cheese burger with nacho-cheese loaded fries with a Cadbury's flavoured Hot Chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows on top, it looked like it had been crafted to perfection. The burger patties were very thick and juicy, not dry at all and there were multiple layers of cheese per patty! The nacho-cheese was very creamy and runny as well as a nice treat on top of my fries (make sure to ask if you want a lot or not a lot of nacho-cheese as it can be very strong tasting). After my main meal I asked about their ice cream, they do very proper ice cream in multiple ways of eating such as: small tub, waffle cone, sundae and others! It was a fixed price for my sundae so that meant I could have as many extras as I'd wanted! I ended up with having a Nutella base with Chocolate, Vanilla, and Lotus Biscoff balls of ice cream. When it came to my table they served an extra pot of Biscoff bits to sprinkle on at my discretion while eating. Overall a very, very good experience and definitely one of the best Cafés in Clowne! If you're in town and craving a bite to eat at a low cost, head to Bites!”

“We went for lunch on a Tuesday myself, wife and baby. Food was delicious. We asked for a table with space for the pram and my mobility aid and the lady showing us to the table was so polite and moved chairs out of the way to make our table more comfortable for us. It’s a small thing but when you’re disabled and have a newborn small things like that can make a big difference. Our server Beth was great, very polite and helpful. The food was great. The menu has changed since last time I visited but it was delicious.”

“We booked a room at The Riverside for an 18th birthday party. Communication from the start was great. Rooms to hire are lovely and all the staff at the Riverside are very polite and welcoming. Extra special thanks to the two young bar staff last night at our party, nothing was too much trouble for them, very friendly and polite :-) would definitely recommend Riverside for venue hire and would happily use again in the future.”

Feedback for Dunkin (UK) - allow your staff to accept cash tips, it works in the US and Clarice is a fine example of that. Also loose the ordering screens, not necessary.”

“Me and my boyfriend had the best time today spending time with the sweetest cats that call this cafe home! They’re extremely well looked after, love interacting with customers and are very clearly loved by the volunteer members of staff. We also ate at the cafe afterwards where we had the most amazing homemade pizza - wish I had taken a photo before we finished it. Overall, had an amazing time. So wonderful to hear about the work they do here and will definitely be visiting again in the future.”

“Booked here for my daughter's christening party The staff here are lovely and friendly super helpful great people. The venue is what you get from an old pub but is a lovely space the outside has the most amazing view as well. The food buffet was good just could of done with a salad or fresh veg or fruit options but it hit the spot for my guests. The atmosphere was lovely here and I would definitely recommend coming here for a drink”

“Well worth a visit, rooms are well appointed and the pub is welcoming. Good location in the town but they do have limited parking spaces. No big deal as there are loads of car parks in Chesterfield.”

“First time here to eat food and it was lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful . I wanted to move seats because the air con was on and I was cold so we moved and I informed them and it was not a problem. Food arrived within 5 /10 mins .”
