“We have just spent 7+ weeks at this hotel after a devastating fire at our home, we moved out today into our temporary home, but we wanted to leave a review. The staff here were amazing, friendly and very obliging, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding. Breakfast was good lots of variety of cereal, toasts and cooked. If ever we are in need of a hotel again Holiday Inn would be our first choice. Sad to leave but neeed a little normality now. Thank you to all the staff that made us feel welcome.”

“A one night stay but very happy. Had one issue with air conditioner leaking but spoke to Duncan at reception and he fixed the issue immediately and with the slight inconvenience was very kind to offer a breakfast. Exceptional service and kind and helpful without any fuss! Thank you.”

“The rooms are really clean and trendy. The beds are extremely comfortable and showers are great. Great value for a few nights stay. The facilities are great with amazing gym and Starbucks in the foyer. Bar and grill food has a good selection. Everything you need for an overnight stay.”

“Great stay tonight. Ate dinner (unexpectedly as couldn't get a cab into the city). The food was excellent, our group of 6 all enjoyed everything at a great price too. Well done Premier Inn. All the staff were excellent and friendly too, we'll come again”

“Stayed September 2025 . Best hotel for service we have ever encountered. Every member of staff were friendly, helpful, smartly turned out and polite. No request was too much trouble and all performed with a smile . They had even left balloons, birthday card ,including free drinks voucher, for my friend in our room, which was a lovely surprise for her to walk into ( thank you team) The hotel itself & rooms were very homely, yet felt quite opulent and extremely clean throughout. The bar was absolutely lovely with a wonderfully relaxed feel & led out onto the large , well maintained garden and patio area. We will definitely return to Winchester and not hesitate to book a room at this wonderful hotel again. A well deserved , all round 10/10 .”

“We came down from Scotland and stayed in one of the Superior Rooms. Full air con, very roomy as it is an accessible room. Had plenty of room to manoeuvre my power chair. Staff are very friendly and remember you from previous visits. We had meal deals so enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Everything was excellent. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting family and friends or going on a cruise.”

“Nice comfy apartments w kitchen and two baths and two bedrooms. Easy car parking available and access to Southampton and surrounding areas without going in the town centre. A bit noisy due to being on the road especially on the front apartments but nice balcony to sit in warm weather too. An 8/10 overall!”

“We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Staff were very friendly, check in was quick and easy. Room was normal - we had 2 pop up beds for the kids. Only negative comment is the mattress was too firm for us. Breakfast was lovely in the morning. Location was 15minutes away from Paultons park.”

“I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and it was a lovely stay, all of the staff were lovely and welcoming. Catherine that booked us in who is on the main desk Was ever so helpful and friendly and if I had any enquiries she was happy to help. The location of the hotel is perfect, easy to get to shops, restaurants and taxis ect. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Hi i stayed at this house for 4 nights what a lovely place very clean and tidy room was spotless.Peter who looks after the residents very friendly and helpful the bed was so comfortable i did not want to get up. Landlord very nice person and helpful def stay there again you will not be dissapointed. The rate for the room was very cheap thay should charge alot more long drive way to park your car its worth staying enjoy your stay 5 stars”

“Lovely owner who really likes the cats and has good heated (in cool weather) cages for the tennant's. Offers cats a range of good quality cat foods. Always clean when I go to drop off or collect our cat. Very happy to leave our cat there and recommend Pit Pat.”

“Mark is our dog's favourite person. Since Murphy was 3 months, Mark has been helping us look after him when we're at work. When we go on holiday, Murphy looks forward to being at Mark's for a few days. He and Klaudia are lifesavers, and we would be lost without them. We cannot recommend them enough”

“I cant thank Pack Buddies enough.Sandra is so patient with all the dogs, even down to the consultation, nothing is rushed until she is happy she has gained their trust. We have been sending Toby for a while now and he comes back exhausted every time. He adores Sandra and looks forward to going. He isn't the easiest of dogs yet Sandra puts in so much effort and time to build positive experiences. This isn't just day care, they are trained throughout the day. Cant rate this enough, its fab!”

“Hedy is amazing! We have left our boy Oddie with her a few times and he always has such a good time. Before meeting Hedy we felt anxious about leaving our dog with someone but with Hedy we feel good as we know he is safe. Hedy has an amazing garden so the doggies have a lot of space to play around. The fact that there are always other sausages for him to play with is also really good. We are really happy we found Hedy ❤️”

“Lovely hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Great location, 3mins walk from Southampton central station, 15mins walk to Southampton city center, 5mins walk to the seaside. Breakfast was nice and delicious. One special thing about this hotel is, they have full water softener system, and the shower head has extra water softener on it. The drinking water tastes great and the shower water is so comfortable that I have not experienced the same water quality else where in the UK. Love this place so much and I will definitely come back again.”

“Moved here from America so I have been on the hunt for a good seafood boil. Took my mom here for her birthday. The food was great and you really can’t get seafood boil anywhere outside of London in England so I was happy to find it. Service was great. We were helped by two guys one named harry and the other named Scott I believe but I’m not too sure they were very attentive and friendly and it was an overall really good atmosphere. Would definitely recommend”
