“Great local pub . Good selection of beers and spirits and not too badly priced . You pay less than a fiver for a premium pint which is pretty good in the times we are at !! They usually have so.e live entertainment on too, be it a vocalist, a disco or a karaoke . The pub has a pool table in a separate room which is easily accessible the other side of the pub. It's a great pub and a great atmosphere, it's also open late Friday and Saturday. Would reccomend”

“To say the Sunday lunch was good would be an understatement. Plenty of meat, vegetables cooked the way I love them, oceans of gravy. The only issue was the impossible to open condiment sachets, but the very friendly staff sorted that out for me. Apple and blackberry crumble lovely. Will be coming back soon”

“We run a club on Mia Park we had Fish and chips, chicken and chips, sausage and chips for our club 67 meals and total all piping hot and delicious and he actually delivered them to us highly recommend everyone enjoyed everything. Will certainly use again. Service was excellent”

“We had a take away yesterday evening and really enjoyed it. The quarter of crispy duck was a very generous portion. Really crispy skin and succulent meat. We also liked the salt & chilli ribs starter and two main courses with king prawns & chicken. All were good sized portions and very tasty. The lady who served us was lovely. We are staying nearby as pet sitters and would definitely visit again if we return to this area.”

Good prices on drinks, has great entertainment nights like Karaoke etc and overall, just a great place to go to relax and hang out with friends. “Looking for a pre show meal? You could do no better than eat here. The service was polite, attentive but never intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the food was incredible. Cooked fresh to order and beautifully presented. Loved the theatre too of being able to see the pizza oven in action. Probably the best dining experience we have enjoyed for a long time.”

“I've been here several times now. The fataya is pretty good but the schwarma especially the mixed one is amazing. There's never really a queue when I go in the evenings and it's usually a quiet relaxed atmosphere which is perfect for me.. The guys are friendly, and the portions are generous and filling. I'd definitely recommend it especially if you want a quick bite before catching the train as it's literally a few minutes walk away.”

Tried the wings once. That was a meh. Sometimes the pizza comes a little cold. But they are always fast and the food taste great.”

The food was lovely, no issues there and brilliant portions (and more than happy for you to take leftovers home!). However, the star of the show was the service. The gent was lovely, attentive without being overbearing, but also willing to pop in suggestions when asked. The best service that I've had in a long while.”

“Very accommodating, went for a meal last minutes due to being the only pub near our campsite. Sat outside in the field adjacent the pub, bar staff were fantastic and super friendly, traipsing out with our food, which isn't a short distance. Served food till 9:30pm which was good for us as we had a long day hiking. This made the experience fantastic”

“Excellent customer service. Lovely ambience, nice non intrusive music. Went for lunch here. Waited a bit for our meal to be ready, however the drinks were so tasty we had a strawberry and lime one and another with coconut and pineapple - absolutely loved these mocktails. Had very good chat while we had our drinks and waited for the meals. Paella was tasty. Meals were well seasoned.”
