They kept my updated at all times, we got to go visit her in a lovely room and was always made welcome by reception staff. I can honestly say they are the best vets around and I am so glad I got to bring Purdy home without them this wouldn’t have been possible.”

“Highly recommend. We brought our 11 year old Bichon here with a partially torn cruciate ligament - anaesthetic is risky for her so we wanted to avoid surgery. Best choice we made was to bring her to David for hydrotherapy and laser therapy. A week before Christmas, she hurt her leg on a walk and couldn’t put any weight down on it. After 4-5 visits, she’s as good as new. For a dog who hates puddles, she was SO excited to see David and go in the water tank. Thank you!”

“We visited here to meet with the RSPCA rescue centre staff to adopt a cat so can't comment on the cattery or dog boarding but the pens were all very clean and spacious. Plenty of parking on site. Easy to find.”

“I've stayed here twice & would highly recommend it, Rural location (on a farm), en-suite accommodation with access to a fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation is located in a separate detached building, which is next to the farmhouse. It's very clean & a freshly cooked to order break to set you up for the day. There's plenty of parking, I once turned up in a very large van & parked no problem.”

“Needed hotel as visiting family near by, this was in an excellent location. Alsager is a lovely town, we visited a lovely bakers and had a lovely lunch. Also pubs and couple of restaurants nearby for evening meals. If you like national trust, there's a quaint place called Little Morton Hall worth a visit. The hotel was run by lovely people, and the breakfast can't be faulted. We will definitely stay there again”

Alex’s knowledge of dogs is exceptional, has supported us in how to adapt to support Pip at home but also created such a great environment for the dogs. “Fabulous location a stones throw from the golf course and cricket ground. Really close to Newcastle and not a million miles from attractions like Waterworld or Alton Towers. The main draw though is the strawberry picking nearby. You cant escape the rural location when the 12 and 13 year old tractor boys walk around. The food though and the decor are first class. Whilst sitting waiting we watched 10 or 12 different meals come out and we could have ate every single one. A big recommendation from me.”

“Recently got married here and we had a perfect day. Carol was very involved with organising but was never in the way. Nothing we wanted was ever any trouble and the planning process was smooth thanks to the staff. Brett who runs the marquees and wedding side of the business was incredible and again very accommodating. Lovely family and great place. Would definitely recommend staying here for a holiday as well as a wedding as the house is incredible and has everything you could ever need.”
