“Excellent place. Dog friendly ... The menu is quite large and good. Lots of attractive options. I would say prices are above average, but I think it is really worth it. The backyard is fantastic for sunny days. We'll definitely go again!”
“Lovely pub which pours a great pint of Guinness The best part is the staff. Very nice and friendly. It is also dog friendly up to like 9pm. Before then. On the weekend it does get nosier for the dog though.”
“Great place for a quiet drink with no fuss about the place. All workers are lovely and cant do enough to make sure u feel at home”
“Friendly place with pool table and kari- okie there was plenty to keep me entertained”
“This pub has a place in my heart, me and father visited here a few times to play pool and have a few drinks, staff very friendly too”
“Good food. Friendly staff.Highly recommend.”
“We found ourselves back home in Bangor at the same time...something that hadn't happened since we all left to follow our dreams. We had a family dinner together in LeWinters...and there were no complaints...we each had something different, possible because the menu is so varied! Great place, great service and great prices! Highly recommend!”
“Food is outstanding, chef really is Michelin* quality. best meal in a long time. Do not understand why so few diners! Such a great restaurant on our doorstep - with parking outside!! Pity not more people there!!”
“If you're in Belfast and want to try Guinness, this little pub should be at the top of your list. Guinness themed cocktails as well as other things. Places like this need to stay. Highly recommend.”
“very friendly bar staff and customers, best pint if Carlsberg I've tasted”
“Great staff and convenient location”
“I was there for a book signing. Author Francis Higgins.(you could die laughing). The bar was simular to me as I once lived around the corner in Greeland st. The bar is steeped in history with pictures of old Belfast. If you read the book it tells alot of these stories”
“I keep coming back here when ever I need to work in Belfast. Absolutely amazing staff, breakfast is really good and also the a la carte. Rooms are large and the beds are suuuper comfy. I will never choose another Hotel than this in Belfast!”
“We stayed for our friend’s wedding, which was amazing. The staff were all lovely and always smiling, and the rooms were gorgeous. The food at the wedding was amazing. The rooms were lovely and well looked after. However there was a lot of hair on the bed and found on the shower head and inside the bottom of the Dyson hair dyer. The fridge in the room was a nice add, however when we checked out the prices it put us off completely. £3.50 for Pringles which you could get a big box of Pringles at the shop for £2.00. On the bright side, we went for lunch the following day and it was gorgeous. We had strawberry daiquiris for £15.00, which was a bit pricey, but they were so nice that we still bought them. However, if someone is paying to stay, they expect decent prices.”
“Absolutely brilliant place very nice family meal highly recommended does it take awhile for your food to come so you need to be patient staff are very friendly and are willing to help you out with anything whatsoever and always comes around to ask you if you need anything and how is your food etc”
“What an amazing place in the center of Belfast! The interior is so beautiful and romantic. The atmosphere is brilliant. The food is wow! We had the best evening and the service was great!”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "5 stars for The Lansdowne Hotel! I held a psychic mediumship evening here and was so impressed by the venue. The function room was beautifully decorated, but the service was the real highlight. The team went above and beyond, with a special mention to Ashley, who was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the night. I will definitely be booking again."”
“Stayed here a few times for work. The rooms are varied but the last one I had was enormous and very cosy. The cooked breakfast is excellent too, the food was good quality. However the continental breakfast was a bit lacking, better pastries and some more dietary options are needed! I had to ask specifically for non dairy milk (come on, it's so common) and no non dairy options on the table for yoghurt or milk.”
“Went to the Gurriers gig on Sunday, great set up and a good night. Had an accidental head clash in Enola Gay's mosh pit and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Darron patched me up and got me back in the pit before the end of their set thanks mate!”
“Great bar. Spotless !!!. Service excellent. Everyone friendly. Best pint of harp in Belfast. Only complaint is ladies toilet could do with an extra clean.”
“We hired the Celebration Terrace for our day two wedding event and we were blown away by this incredible venue and the service we received. The BBQ was delicious and the staff were so helpful. 10/10.”
“Excellent food and service. I had the chicken goujons and they were so tender and tasty. Wife had small caesar salad and it was a good size and very nice.”
“Natasha was absolutely incredible. Memorised all our drinks and treated everyone so amazingly. Will definitely be back just for this service alone. She deserves a raise.”
“We had a good pub experience. They have a very basic menu with limited options but good options. The beef with the Yorkshire pudding was good. Their beer options were good. Overall a good experience but a little pricier.”
“We visited Margot Belfast as two adults and one child, and we had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, with generous portions and great flavor, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable considering the beautiful location. A great spot for both families and couples highly recommended!”
“We come here regularly for food and cocktails I must say it is always a 10/10 but tonight we didn’t know how to feel by the fancy writing on the valentines menu and it was just the definition of don’t judge a book by its cover it was honestly the nicest food ever. Everything cooked to perfection and not to mention the cocktails are always on point. The staff are all amazing and so friendly especially our regular waitress seaneen!!!”
“The staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty. It was the Easter special dinner menu. They were able to cater to gluten and mild dairy intolerances.”
“Amazing bar with a really good atmosphere, ping pong and foosball table too! The staff are also really pleasant.”
“My sister and I popped into 'The National' for a late breakfast before heading to Belfast Castle. We very much enjoyed our refreshing strawberry lemonades and the bunch baps we had were delicious. The server we had was friendly and efficient and they didn't mind when we wanted to move to the Garden as it was such a sunny day. The inside is decorated well, but the garden was lovely to sit in and enjoy our food. I would definitely come back as I very much enjoyed my time there. Might pop in later for a drink to see what it's like in the evening.”
“Party of 18 people for my mums birthday. Today 21st April we were celebrating my mums 70th birthday. It was a complete surprise for her and the staff helped achieve the illusion and making her feel special. We can’t thank the staff enough for all their efforts in helping make the day run smoothly, help with decorating and in making sure all our guests were welcomed. Everyone agreed that the food was amazing, the service was excellent and the whole day was truly amazing.”
