“Our dog Trevor loves walking with Richard, he’s been with him from 13 weeks old and gets so excited to see him. Would recommend always to people in the area!! Richard also looked after our cats when we went on holiday which gave us a great peace of mind as our cats aren’t very sociable but they were able to stay in the comfort of their own home. 10/10 from us!”

“The hotel and staff were awesome, and the room was spotless, plus the hallway smelled amazing. But, I was bummed that the pool and gym were closed until noon, which was when I had to check out, even though I thought they'd be open. Also, the outlet in my room, 131, didn't work, and some of the furniture needs to be replaced because it's getting old.”

“We had to make the heartbreaking decision last week to euthanise our beautiful dog Barney. The experience was very peaceful and Em was extremely thoughtful and kind throughout the whole process. I’m so grateful that we could let him go at home in his own bed surrounded by love. It was the worst day of our lives but Em made it as good as it could possibly have been. For anyone else who has to make this decision for their beloved pet, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Em. I hate to think what it would have been like without her.”

“After hunting for quite a while for the perfect dog walker for Archie, we found them with houndville! We went into the shop the enquire and was booked in for a meet and greet initially with lea, she came around to our home to meet arch and got on so well with him automatically put us at ease! She explained the start process how to register and talked through his traits! We have been with houndville now for approximately 7 months and love them! Easy booking systems for either morning or afternoon walks and easy payments too bonus that we get snapshots of what he’s been up to through his walk and sometimes a little treat from the bakery too! Phoebe is brilliant with him now and he loves the team and his other doggie friends!”

“Wonderful shop, with much more expertise and stock than you would suspect from the outside. Fab selection of dog food, treats, raw food, accessories in particular, but your cat, snake and other pets will also be taken care of here.”

“We Love Grooming is a little gem! John did a fabulous job grooming Oscar, who came out looking and smelling like a new dog, and the price was very reasonable given the length of the appointment and quality of the cut. We were both very impressed and will definitely be back.”

“We’ve left our mog here for long and short durations multiple times. About to take him there again. I truly believe that our cat gets the care he requires. I’d rather pay a little bit to know that he’s in good hands. I witnessed the occasion with the poor review and it seemed like a bit of confusion had occurred so probably sour grapes.”

“A quirky and friendly train themed café. I am a local and travel by train into London from Brighouse regularly. What better way to start the day than a very large breakfast sandwich! Not only is it better value than breakfast available during the journey there is more and it tastes better. This morning's breakfast changed my life.”

“I had to write this review as soon as we left. We only live over the road and I have to say the owner, the staff, the food and drink were beyond all expectations. We enjoyed every mouthful of our Christmas dinner and the service, the people and the atmosphere. In all the years of eating out I have never felt so welcome and had a service which surpasses theirs. I would like to thank everyone for such a pleasant and unforgettable meal. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be having our wedding reception there. “Helen has been instrumental in the development of my dog Murphy as he found his paws in my home. This first began with puppy visits and there were several times where Helen sent me messages of some of the misdemeanors my pup had been getting up to. Nothing fazed her though and on several occasions she went the extra mile and cleared up items such as the destroyed bin (yes I forgot to take it out one day) without hesitation. Murphy has also had the fortune of stopping at Helen's where I was sent regular updates, it was clear to see he very much felt at home whilst he was with her. Murphy is always pleased to see Helen, if our paths cross out on a walk she makes the time to stop and say hello and Murphy gets so excited seeing her which as an owner is completely reassuring to watch. I found the terms in the contract to be very fair and communication is great, she'll happily discuss all things dog with you and has been really helpful in giving suggestions as Murphy has grown. I know Murphy has thrown out a few challenges along the way but Helen has adapted with some of the medical changes that have been needed and she is really patient and supportive. I'm really pleased that Murphy is now old enough to go out for longer adventures with Bella's Buddies as I'm happy in the knowledge that he is safe, in a caring environment and is totally enjoying himself.”
