“When we walked in, we first noticed the BEAUTIFUL decor and really calming music! The staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome and wanted! The food was lovely - we both tried the poached eggs w salmon on toast and the scrambled eggs and pepperoni on toast (which we've never tried before but the pepperoni definitely works!!)- the food was lovely and we were full half way through! We chatted with the staff about their plans for the Panda Lounge moving forward and we're really excited to see the business flourish! We will be back! Thank you for excellent service!”

I had a Christmas gift that I had to exchange as the size was too small but unfortunately, I was outside of the 28 days returns policy (I’ve been away for a few weeks) but the chap in-store allowed me to swap the item for one of my size. “Me and my partner are now aiming to become regulars after 2 visits here! The food is consistently superb and fresh. The owner, 'Chandra', is so lovely on our first visit that he sat us down and spoke us through his menu. This is an amazing place for regular diners but must go place for veggie and vegans- as Chandra is one himself. My Italian partner told me she hasn't had tofu this good before! We also love their coffee, one of the best blends in brighton (they get and roast their single blend Indonesian beans themselves!)- they even bring over fresh coconut milk! Our favourite drinks, besides the coffee, were the sex in the jungle cocktail and tropical jungle juice smoothie. We're also big fans of the green curry (with duck) and panaeng curry (with the lovely tofu) The ONLY thing that could make the experience even better is softer light. It always being bright takes away from the atmosphere, but it's only a minor thing”

“My van was recently in for its service and I was informed it needed new brake discs and pads on the front. I had already authorised these to be done as the van has covered over 140000 miles and always being in the motor trade myself am aware of wear times on components, but I was informed that only the fronts needed doing and rears would last until next service...( I had budgeted for all four to be replaced.) I consider this great honest customer service. Dinnages Portslade ,Brighton have always given me excellent service from start to finish since owning the van from 2021 and I would not trust my van to anyone else.”

“I didn't even know this place existed! I've now been there 3 or 4 times since buying my fish tank. Great array of fish, knowledgable and friendly staff, an awesome place for all of your aquatic needs. Each time i've been it has been quite busy, so be patient when waiting for assistance. I'll be a regular customer here.”

“Stayed here in a tent. I'm a solo traveller, so it cost me £49 for two nights. Facilities were top class and clean. There is a freezer in the block close to the reception. They don't have a shop, but there are plenty of shops a short distance away, including a large Asda. There is also a small bistro on-site that sells fresh pizza, pealla and lasagne etc. Easy walking distance to the marina. The town is about 45 minutes walk. I used the bus at £2.50 each way. The bus is the 1X and the bus stop is opposite Lidl a short walk away. You catch the same 1X back at bus stop C on north street (close to the royal pavilion) There is access to the south downs walk a short walk away, so plenty to do.”

“We had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.”

“If i could give service 10* I would. I've been 5 times over the years and the manager is just the nicest man you'll ever meet. Really passionate about his job and has this Italian charm about him. The food of course is exceptional with each pizza becoming more difficult to choose because they're all so tasty. Not greasy either which always sits heavy in my stomach. By far, the best branch in the UK.”

The duck confit was also excellent and paired really well with the pack Choi and tender-stem broccoli. I 100% recommend eating here!!”

“The food was really nice, different to what I was expecting taste wise but definitely not bad, the textures were great and we LOVED our drinks. We got vegan churros at the end and they tasted great as well. The service was one of the best ever, our host, Lauren, was incredibly sweet and funny and she made our experience a thousand times better. The reason we went into the place was because of how pretty and nice it looked like from the outside, and the inside was even better. Great lighting, spacious and tall ceilings, and cool graphics all around.”

“Came to Brighton for a day trip. Was recommended this restaurant by a family member who had been before. Nice cosy old-school vibes. It was a sunny, warm summers day, so we sat outside. There was a range of dishes, but we went for the £27 for 2 course summer set menu, as it seemed a good value for money. I ordered raw rock oysters as starter. Got 3 fresh oysters which were fresh and juicy. Came nice and cold, with the mignonette and ponzu dressing. Delicious! Another person on the table ordered salt and pepper calamari and even though portion was small, with 3 large pieces of calamari, the taste was amazing and it was so fresh. The fish and chips were crispy and fish was flaky. Though again, could do with a few more chips. Tartare sauce was great! The mussels marinieres was exceptional. The sauce was extra creamy and goes well with chips. For the price of the set menu, its great value for money! Would highly recommend! There was bread that came to the table with delicious mackerel pate. But you will need to pay for a cover charge for this. Drinks menu was extensive. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend. Women’s toilet was up some narrow stairs at the top of the building.”

We were lucky to be served by the owner himself, which added a special touch to our visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming—you truly feel at home! “Went in to replace my shoes which had broken within warranty. Was a lil nervous, as I don't like being difficult or causing a problem. But much to my relief I was served by a wonderful person who could not have been more helpful understanding. Super quick to sort out get a replacement/ upgrade on the shoes that had broken, couldn't be happier massive thanks to the kind woman that helped.”
