A booking error meant a double room had been reserved instead of a twin, but the team went above and beyond to fix it – bending over backwards to sort out a twin room on the spot and save the booking. “First time eating here and it was delicious. Excellent flavour. I went for lunch and it was £4.99 for chicken wrap (porotta). Whilst the size was perfect for me (on the small size) others might want something else to go with it. The porotta was perfection - crispy but flaky. Not had one like this in years. Person serving me was super lovely, chatty, friendly. Will definitely be returning to try other items on the menu and spreading the word.”

“Gorgeous food with attentive service. We visited early on a Saturday evening having been able to call ahead and book a table - and we’re glad we did. After being seated at least four groups of customers were unfortunately turned away due to full booking. A shame really but, spoke volumes for how popular this venue was. The food did not disappoint. Having been on holiday to Italy, this was authenticity at its best. Pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was nothing short of moreish. The service from waiting staff should be commended with a polite and professional greeting from the outset. Bookings arrived during our feast and staff were greeting them again, remember details about their customers enquiring on updates. Which only showed how much the staff care about their customers and how much they value repeat custom. Overall top notch. If you manage to pay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed!”

“Lovely cakes Inc vegan and gf. Breakfasts are quality and decent size. We had the house breakfast, avo toast and sweetcorn fritters. All delicious. Very very fast service. Staff are very friendly. Definitely worth the price. There is a shop with nice gifts and a gallery. Highly recommend.”

“Found by accident but so happy we did! Perfect chai for a hot day teamed with a flaky well stuffed samosa! Also had a wrap which was delicious. Really great value for money and really tasty food! Definitely worth a visit! Note there is no seating but there are parks and benches near by!”

“Proper pub. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the pub does some really good food. Between 5-7 it's buy one get one free on certain dishes which means it's even more affordable to pop out for some nice grub. The pub has a big garden too and welcomed dogs which is great. I'll definitely be going back.”

“Attended private view here of local artist Eric Gabb and his daughter Alex. Fabulous paintings, & nice small space for displaying art work. Very friendly & attentive bar staff - tables & chairs were a bit close to the walls for easy viewing but overall a lovely venue. Eric and Alex's exhibition runs af Burdall's Yard until 12th May and is well worth a visit.”

“Visited this place a few times now, for brunch or dinner. Lovely cosy interior. Plenty of tables. The food is very good also, with lots of choice. The tapas boards are delicious and very good value for money. Staff have always been friendly and attentive also. They had live music in this restaurant recently also, with a singer on the upper floor. Good singer but perhaps didn't need the amplifier and microphone, at least not so loud, as it's not a huge venue. Made it difficult to have a conversation. Minor issue though as the food was still excellent and the atmosphere is generally good in this place. Definitely recommend it for those visiting Clevedon.”

“Most amazing venue. We hired a room to run EPP introduction sessions. The pricing is great. The facilities are amazing especially the disabled toilet. It is the most equipped I have ever seen. We joined in with the Wednesday lunch club. It was amazing value and tasty food. I would recommend”

“Great little market. Second week it's opened since the lockdown. Lots of stall with some great hot food options set up along rahleigh Road. Easy parking on a Sunday on rahleigh Road with the residents permits not in force. Bought a ton of baked goods and pastries. Social distances not strongly enforced but people were generally sensible and wearing masks.”

“Beautiful little pub with lovely rooms. Kate the land lady was incredible friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. They were able to accommodate us with early check in as we were going to a wedding near by. Would definitely recommend staying here!”

“Visited the hole-in-the-wall location on Picton Street (the very first one!) - we were served by the bright and smiley Kyla who really brought some good energy to our bank holiday Monday. She was helpful in discussing the menu options and quick in preparing the food, which is some of the best we’ve had (which, in as vegan-friendly a city as Bristol, is a tall order). The food was delicious, flavoursome and all put together really well. It’s refreshing to have so many options and catered to all tastes. Whether you’re a vegan or not, a visit to Oowee should be top of your list of places to visit when you’re in Bristol.”
