“Lovely, delivious food and athmosphere. Had the best warm salad with pak choi, tenderstem broccoli and pan-fried oyster mushrooms in sesame dressing. I also had a great black pork katsu. If I am ever back to Bristol, I will definitely visit again.”

“100% recommended! Visited there for a lunch of a Sunday with 8 friends. The place was very well kept and the ambiance was quite nice. There were a lot of food and beverage options. Staff was very kind and attentive and the food arrived within around 15 minutes after ordering. All the dishes we tried were very good and had distinctive Flavours. Portion sizes were very filling too! Clean toilets, ample space, choice of seating etc. Would not hesitate to go there again”

“We enjoyed a fine birthday lunch here today. We ordered a selection of individual tapas as well as a couple of their tapas sets. There was a nice selection of traditional Thai favourites on offer. The flavours were good, and portions were ample. We were served promptly and the staff was attentive to special dietary needs. A complimentary birthday pudding was a lovely touch.”

“Impressively presented menu offered by this beautiful restaurant. I loved the high, gold-leaf ceiling supported by a central column and skirted with tropical engineer-diagram images, which to me were a tip of the hat to Bristol's many high tech contributions. I wish I had time to try the whole menu. My meal, an eggplant tajine, was delicious. Paired with an outstanding drinks offering, The Ivy will be a great place for dinner with friends or someone special. Put The Ivy on your Bristol dining plans.”

“Stayed a night hiking the Cotswolds. Very friendly hosts; rooms not fancy but the important things are in place: it’s clean, good hot shower, crisp sheets and a very comfortable mattress- slept like the dead! Husband had the full English for breakfast- a well done classic, and I was able to get gluten free eggs Benedict- perfectly done poached eggs! Very good value , and would highly recommend to anyone traveling in the area.”

“Sunday lunch booked for 4. We chose the two course menu on offer. We all had the beef - it was sooooo good. Melt in your mouth, well presented and plenty of veg. Sweets were delicious and flexible in changing ice cream for custard. Service was excellent - attentive, prompt and very pleasant. We would definitely recommend and go again”

“I had a Sunday roast here, the seared chicken breast with extra gammon. They were offering gammon or turkey as an extra with your roast if you so wish to. I have to say the roast was unreal, one of the best I’ve ever had, everything about it was just exceptional. We were seated in the lovely conservatory area and experienced a fantastic service by the staff who were friendly and attentive. A special mention to Caitlin for serving us today! The atmosphere here is lovely, no loud music or anything like that, just a good old pub atmosphere. What a lovely old pub it is, it’s in a great location next to the River Avon and has a nice contrast of old and new. It’s clean and tidy which is a credit to the staff here, well worth the visit.”

“This is a proper pub - looks like one, smells like one, sounds like one. Good proper ales but some nicer beverages for the more sophisticated types. Popular with the local climbing community and can be wild at times. I tend to avoid those times. Nice for a pint after a climb”

“Always a great place to visit in the sunshine after dancing all night or a decent walk around Purdown. The bar staff were proper sound and the food/ menu was delicious. Shout out to all the Ravers that remember DJ Dereks legendary sunday sets here in the 90s”

“Absolute gem of a pub in lovely quiet setting with big carpark and ample secure garden area. The food is always divine whether sampling the lunchtime menu or main menu. The staff are wonderful, very kind and patient with the dog as well as friendly and attentive. Lovely pub.”

“Our local. Great atmosphere, friendly welcome and service, a taste of Belgium in Bristol. Eight draft Belgian beers on (1-2 changing), three UK cask ales, wide range of Belgian bottled beer. Annual Belgian beer festival and other tasting events. Cosy in Winter, front terrace and rear courtyard garden in Summer. Roasts often sell out. Food rating only given four as we rarely eat there (or in pubs generally), but the Mussels and curry we've tried have been very good.”

“Newton Farm Cafe and Restaurant Bath UK. It’s very popular place even far from town. I've been here many times after walking through the beautiful landscape of Bath Spa University at Newton Park campus. We always had lovely meals and a lovely time here at Newton Farm cafe/ restaurant. Organic ingredients from their farm. Beautiful location, delicious food and a proper coffee. Excellent friendly service from everyone members. I love this place and highly recommend it to everyone! See you again soon.”

“Every time I visit Bath, I make sure I have time to tick off Good Day Café! The staff are super lovely and welcoming. They have so many delicious breakfast brunch meals available, it's always an "umm" and "arrrr" moment when I look at the menu but I know whatever I choose, it'll be heaven! Their sweet treats are the best in Bath, such a big and fun selection of items. I recently bought an eyeball scotchie and the mint scare-ro brownie roll - DIVINE! ❤️ I'd highly recommend the Good Day Café for the best experience and tastes ❤️”

“Absolutely superb from startbto finish. Met by the gentleman doorman...reception staff were brilliant. Stunning room and incredible facilities. Loved the smooth radio station on in the room to arrive to. Great bar staff, excellent service, just wish we had the time to have had our evening meal there. Perfect location. Historic and so well maintained. The breakfast was second to none. Highly Highly recommend it.”

“We had a wonderful stay! We originally booked a standard room but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to the best suite in the hotel — and the hospitality was truly exceptional from start to finish. There were lovely little touches waiting for us when we arrived, and when we returned from dinner, we found a thoughtful box of cheeses, the curtains drawn, and the bed beautifully prepared for the night. The hotel’s location is very central, which meant it could be a little busy and noisy at times, but the mattress was so comfortable that we still had one of the best nights of sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel! We also booked massage treatments and spent time enjoying the spa facilities — both were absolutely amazing. Every member of staff was attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make our stay special. It was such a memorable experience, and we’ll definitely return when visiting Bath again — or perhaps try one of their other properties elsewhere.”

“It was a very nice place to have lunch, where I tried the meat lovers pizza. The staff were nice, and checked in to make sure the meal was okay, and the pizza was delicious, the turmeric crust was amazing! The atsmophere was also quite nice, though it is more hidden of a location.”

“Visited for our wedding anniversary, absolutely fantastic food and service. We had the tasting menu, every course was delicious and we ended up taking a full takeaways worth home as well so definitely worth the price! The staff were brilliant, they even went as far as to tailor the tasting for my pregnant wife and topped the night off with complimentary mocktails. My only issue is that we're not local enough to make it a regular visit. If you're local or visiting Bath, definitely get in here.”
