“Stayed at the Washington for 2 nights in late October. Very good location in a pleasant area of Bristol and near many shops and restaurants/bars. The city centre is on a frequent bus route but also only about a 15 minute walk away. Great value for money: a full cooked breakfast was included, plus complimentary fruit, tea, and coffee in the room. Room was warm and cosy and beds were comfortable; it was mostly very clean but carpet slightly grubby. Large bathroom with full bath as well as a shower. The hotel staff were great, especially those on Reception: I was checked in by Katya who was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Breakfast room staff also pleasant and friendly but there's maybe a need for another staff member at busy times. Overall, I'd definitely return here and thoroughly recommend it.”

Decent quality with a good, herby taste to the sausage. All.of the food was hot, and even the scrambled eggs were decently cooked - hard to do when they have to stay under the lights. Good selection at the continental section or crumpets, oven-bottom muffins, bread, American pancakes, blueberry muffins / cup cakes, croissants, pain-aux-chocolat. The pastries were nicely flaky.and tasted good. Plenty of choice for cereals and fruits, including fruit salad or fresh whole fruits. Tea, including speciality teas and a bean-to-cup coffee machine all.included in the price. The place was clean, and the staff friendly. Plenty of people seemed to be enjoying their breakfast although it wasn't packed. Definitely worth a visit.”

John was super helpful by moving the sofa parts around so we could see what it would look like to fit our home, he also made me a coffee which made the experience feel very homely! No other staff opened it till for me they all sent me to “self scanning” till which was really busy. I’m a manager myself so I look at Customer Service very closely and it times like this when you have to recognise the difference between who’s really pushing your store values and corporate ethics. So a huge THANK YOU ASMA for taking the initiative to open up a till I really appreciate ASMA and this is what makes her Customer Service GREAT above all else.
