“We just had our wedding reception here and had an amazing time. The day went exactly as planned and the staff were amazing to bring it all together. The food was exceptional and enjoyed by all. Those with dietary requirements were well catered for as were the children. The grounds and venue are amazing and idyllic which produced the most amazing photos. The honeymoon suite is large, well equipped and very comfortable despite being somewhat more expensive than the other rooms (worth the additional fee). The events team were great at keeping in touch and meeting our needs for our wedding. There was just two niggles but they weren’t a show stoppers. We had hoped for the traditional outdoor Christmas tree but this wasn’t to be and was made up for by having many indoor trees. There was only the bar food menu offered the night before, that said the food was delicious then too (be sure to pre-book if you don’t want a long wait for larger groups). Be aware of time keeping for meals, you must be prompt otherwise you risk not getting fed without an additional fee. Meal timings are clearly displayed. It is a great spot for a wedding. I recommend this place for others considering a wedding of this type.”

“I think one of the most famous places in Bristol. You can’t miss the incredible view and the great terrace that has. A beautiful place for every occasion and if you have to visit just one place, try this one for sure”

“The rooms were well equipped with an en suite, fridge, kettle and breakfast cereals and snacks. The location was good, situated about a 40 minute bus ride to the city centre.”

“A great place to stay! This property is located just a 10–15 minute walk from the city center, making it very convenient. The stay was hassle-free, no landlord disturbances and no issues with late check-in. Overall, it’s a comfortable and pleasant place in a nice location. There's a good pub with food located just behind the house — a great spot for a couple or singles.”

“Went on a business trip was only there for 1night-2days..what a lovely hotel ..i stayed in the blue bell room the bed was so cosy staff were like angels so friendly and welcoming..the breakfast ,lunch & dinner tasted divine I especially enjoyed the sumptuous salmon at breakfast I think. Only disappointment would like to have got to know the history of the place and stayed longer. Next time then--and maybe a round of golf to”

“Fantastic little hotel, the lady that welcomed us was very friendly and informative If you aren’t an idiot getting to the car park is no problem, instructions were sent via email says before (Bevan Court is the road you have to go down) Room was lovely, very clean and spacious - bigger than the pictures suggested Fixed prices too which is great, no surcharge for staying at the weekend like other hotels Toiletries were offered, but we weren’t staying for a shower. Better this was as there’s less environmental waste for those that don’t use the products 10/10 would recommend for Bristol”

“We stayed for 5 nights. Room was spacious for 3 of us. Breakfast really good. Stuff very friendly. Parking it available outside of the hotel however when we stayed it was very busy so I don't think there was enough parking spaces for all the guests. It's a walking distance to the city centre and petrol station and supermarket are nearby.”

“The guest house is in a great location. The room door was a bit hard to open, but other than that, it was great for a couple of days' stay. Service is amazing, with very friendly and helpful staff, and so was the breakfast.”

“For the price that I’ve paid, it is worth of money! Kind of Gen Z vibes. Location-wise it is 15-20 mins walk from the train station, and situated at the center of Bath. Breakfast is provided, good enough for me. They charge for the towel, 2.5£ and luggage storage 2£ per bag, but I dont find it an issue as the room price is considered affordable already. The service and staffs are friendly. Love the ambience of the place. I would consider it again if I ever come back to Bath.”

“We stayed in Your Apartment Clifton Village on our visit to Bristol. The place was very easy to find and the instructions to check-in were very straightforward. We appreciated the decor and the overall design and feel of the room we stayed in. The location is also very good as there is a Tesco close by and if you walk a little bit more there is also a coop nearby. For short-term stays i highly recommend Your Apartment but for long-term i don't think I can as their laundry machine and drying machine were not the best. It took us a whole day just to wash and dry a small batch of clothes.”

“Murrays have proved to be an excellent letting agency. All processes were easy and professional and the guys in the office were friendly and helpful. They seem to work extremely hard, which does mean that requests are prioritised and you may not get immediate responses for problems that are not deemed urgent. However, I think this is simply the state of the rental market and the lack of care from landlords, rather than a problem with Murrays. In return for a little bit of a hands off approach to letting, you get a property which is very good value for money and a good and fair team of letting agents. By far the best experience I've had renting in Bristol. Would strongly recommend.”

“Wonderful two nights at the Rudloe Arms. A very unique hotel and each room is different in the manor house. Super cool furniture and photos of beautiful people on the walls. The food was great every night as well as breakfast. The staff went far and beyond making sure we had everything we needed, especially the manager Stephen. He moved my father to a room that was easier for him as he is 85 and not very mobile. We came back and all bags were moved and taken care of. It was my father’s birthday and they made a special desert for him. Incredible grounds as well, just a really special hotel. Will be back!”

“Stayed at the Washington for 2 nights in late October. Very good location in a pleasant area of Bristol and near many shops and restaurants/bars. The city centre is on a frequent bus route but also only about a 15 minute walk away. Great value for money: a full cooked breakfast was included, plus complimentary fruit, tea, and coffee in the room. Room was warm and cosy and beds were comfortable; it was mostly very clean but carpet slightly grubby. Large bathroom with full bath as well as a shower. The hotel staff were great, especially those on Reception: I was checked in by Katya who was friendly, efficient, and helpful. Breakfast room staff also pleasant and friendly but there's maybe a need for another staff member at busy times. Overall, I'd definitely return here and thoroughly recommend it.”

“Just had a lovely weekend away, and stay at the Lamp Post Villa. The room was modern with an ensuite shower, and very comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was included in the price: juice, lovely filter coffee, tea, toast, preserves, croissants, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit and set you up for a good start to the day. The location was great, only a 10 minute, pleasant walk to the centre. The b&b offers great value, and the host Carmine was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.”

After some horrific letting experiences as a student, City Property Lets were a breath of fresh air- they treated me and my housemates with respect and worked hard to help us feel as home as possible in our new flat. They took any queries we had seriously and saw to everything promptly- right down to fitting us with a doorbell as per our request! Really high quality flat and professional service throughout. “To be honest, my stay with this agent was quite pleasant, they were very helpful and looked out for me, a lot of these reviews don’t really reflect the true nature of this company, eg Elio and Katie were always very helpful and were never afraid to help and almost lenient in some cases. I truly enjoyed my stay at my property the location and neighbours all the way to landlords this company were up to par. “This is a very well-loved yet tired Motel. This is not a Hotel as name says. With that in mind.... It was clean. Water was hot. Good breakfast. Staff was excellent. Location was easy from Bristol airport. My flight came in after midnight and staff waited for me. Do not use Google maps to find this. It will make you walk extra steps Ask airport staff... It is an old building...but looks like owners are doing a great job refurbishing it. ...and I have to add this... The room service maid was nice and very pretty.”
