“We recently sold our Ford Fiesta though Cazoo and it was a surprisingly good experience. Initially, we used a number of car selling sites to get prices for the Fiesta and Cazoo offered the top price by some margin. So we arranged an appointment at the Bristol Customer Centre in Brislington expecting the price to be reduced on inspection of the car. We were prepared to walk away if the price offered was reduced considerably. On arrival, we were impressed with the luxurious building and the friendly welcome from the staff. We were offered a private room to discuss our car sale. After a lovely coffee and a wait of around 15 minutes whilst they checked over the car, we were told that they would honour the original price offered. They then immediately transfered the money into our bank account. Very impressive from start to finish!”

“I used to stay for 2 weeks due to house move with my wife and my little son. Very quiet location, good transport bus lines, for those who drives is literally 1 min from M5 motorway. Rooms are kept good condition and clean. Seen housekeepers working hard! Couldn't catch one of the receptionist yang girl name but she was very helpful and always smiling to my little son, she helped us to book a taxi with recomendation! Nice hotel overall, I would recommend and would stay there again! Thank you very much!”

“Seriously. 44 pounds for a double room. The sheets were clean, the room was tidy. It was quiet and very easy to find. There was even parking for a tenner. If i had paid a lot of money i might have complained a bit about the older appliances or the daggy decor. But you get what you pay for and for 44 pound a night my wife and i were extremely happy”

“Brilliant Walk of Light. Worth the drive and overnight stay. Very cold though!! Did the tour on the tour bus. Not such a good view but felt better when we saw windscreen wipers being ripped off in the monkey enclosure.”

“Had a really good tour of the building and all the animals with my 6 year old today. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and let my son get out all the different reptiles and snakes. Would definitely recommend”

“Amazing bridge and history behind it, you will have to pay a toll to cross it in your car, and carpark spaces arnt great on other side, just next to the bridge is a path if you follow it up to the top you will arrive at a cafe and the cave entrance, but there is some great shots off the bridge from the top view point”

“Note it is possible to avoid driving through the monkeys and risk damage to your car, Upon approach to the gate leading into the monkeys there’s usually a queue of cars waiting to get in, in the left lane, This is where to take to the other side of the road in the right lane and follow it around to the right, you should see other drivers doing this, so just follow them, “I feel disappointed that we didn’t experience driving through the monkeys, but also at the same time I breath a sigh of relief when I see the car didn’t receive any damage””

“Booked my airport parking only. Booked for a week at a very good price. The owners keep u informed about my transfer from the hotel to the airport drivers are always polite. If ur driver can’t pick u up don’t worry as they order u a taxi which you do not pay for such a great place to park ur car as u can take the keys with you. It’s very reasonable priced and definitely using these guys again.”

“Amazing and beautiful space. Well done to Kira, Jonathan and all the volunteers for bringing it back to life. Perfect birdsong and babbling river soundtrack. Looking forward to more visits and it becoming a Westbury landmark again.”

“What a fantastic find. I stayed here whilst on a course locally. It was absolutely stunning. I was travelling on my own and felt so safe. The security is superb as well as the standard of the room. Absolutely everything is perfect. It’s peaceful and so comfortable. They have thought of everything down to the fridge turning off after 10pm for a peaceful night’s sleep. The finishing touches are so thoughtful. They really do go over and above to make their guests enjoy. It’s more than just a room it’s almost like a little studio apartment. I would even go as far as to say it’s the best accommodation I have ever stayed in. Looking forward to staying again next month.”

“Went for the Festival of Lights 24.12.25 The only things I didnt rate were the Pizza (Undercooked, way too much cheese so made it very greasy and sloppy) and Hot Chocolate or more like hot Oat milk with marshmallows. Otherwise, animals were great, staff were happy and helpful and the venue was very clean and tidy. Second time doing the lights and want to go again next year!”

“We visited the WWT centre for a day out with the grandchildren. They absolutely loved the new welly world feature. And, of course, feeding the ducks and geese was a particular highlight. The day wore them both out beautifully, so we had no problem putting them to bed—which was the main point of our visit. So, thank you Slimbridge for providing excellent entertainment for the kids.”

“We go to the Longleat festival of lights every year and we all agreed that this years was the best. Really enjoyed the layout and the constant Wallace and grommet theme throughout. The travel through the uk was well thought out and all the displays were wonderful and fun. Excellent festival of lights.”

“A hidden oasis of fun and exploration in the heart of Bristol. It wasn't on our tourist list but so glad some friends recommended we meet there. Our kids had a blast and we enjoyed having breakfast while the kids were very busy. Free to enter but donation recommended.”

“The tower is worth the 10min walk from the bottom. The stairs are a little tight but when you get to the first floor, the view is spectacular, with information about locations and their direction. The second floor is a bit tighter, only for one person at a time but again, the view is spectacular.”

“Lovely city farm, well behaved dogs welcomed on leads, lots of events going on and regular morning activities for children. Animals seem well looked after, good toilet, cafe and playground facilities and a fantastic view of Bath”

“Another place I was sceptical to visit not being sure whether it would be my thing or not but believe me when I say they have something for everyone and you can easily kill a couple of hours here. If you have any older family members it’s well worth taking them for a trip down memory lane. I brought a coach group here and the staff were amazing and made everything so easy. On site cafe with good food at an even better price. I was so impressed with the place I brought my partner along to see it on my day off”

“The staff and facilities are all aligned to exceed expectations and it delivers. The listing states its a Bed & Breakfast. However, it performs like a 5 star hotel without the price tag. Book with confidence, this place is seriously good. The only thing I did not like, was having to leave.”

“A wonderful place for a Saturday morning breakfast, staff lovely, food fantastic and the overall morning excellent. Recommended if you got kids, come, got a dog, come, got a craving for probably the best bacon sandwich in Bristol definitely come.”

“Really good farm, variety of great options to keep kids of all ages entertained. We visited with age 2 and 6, kids were kept busy until the very end. Lake canoeing (No additional cost) Trampoline Big pillow bounce Small pillow bounce 2x indoor play areas 3x Outdoor playgrounds, one with sand pit, another with zip wire Pond with large fishes in Water park Outdoor castle play area Lots of farm animals plus deers which was a bonus, feeding, petting zones. Tractor tour ride around the farm (additional £3 each). It's one of those areas that you wished you lived closer and would definitely visit on a regular basis because your kids had so much fun. Staff were all very friendly. Great service all round. Highly recommend for family outings...”

“We visited in September with our one year old on a cooler/wet day. Lots of animals to see and kids play areas. We had a pram (all terrain) with us and there wasn't anywhere we couldn't go. The cafe had highchairs and plenty of space for the pram. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to feed the guinea pigs and stroke a python. A great family day out. It rained towards the end of our visit - definitely a more fair weather location as it is quite outdoorsy as you would expect. We got to see lots of animals and it was a very quiet day due to the weather. Lots of hand washing facilities, picnic areas and good toilets. The ticket price seemed fair for all they had to offer and we would definitely go back.”

“I recently visited Chew Valley Animal Park and booked the private capybara experience, and I have to say it was absolutely worth it. The capybaras were incredible to see up close, and being able to pet and feed them made the experience so special. The animal keeper leading the session was fantastic as well, really engaging, full of knowledge, and clearly passionate about the animals, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, I really enjoyed the cuddle sessions with the smaller animals. Getting to hold and spend time with the mice, rabbits and guinea pigs was such a lovely part of the visit. My favourite had to be a guinea pig called Coco Chanel, who was a total diva in the best way. In my photos she’s the brown, fluffy one with loads of hair, she definitely stole the show. The park itself is really well set out with great enclosures that look spacious and well cared for. I also loved how interactive it was in certain areas. The goat enclosure in particular was brilliant; as soon as you go in with food, they swarm around you, which was a lot of fun. The arctic fox was another highlight, such a beautiful and majestic animal to see up close. It’s also clear the park has thought about the practical side of things too, with loads of washing stations around, which makes the whole experience a lot more comfortable and family friendly. We stopped at the restaurant as well and were pleasantly surprised. I had the margarita pizza with chips and the pizza was cooked on a stone base, which gave it that lovely authentic taste. On top of that, booking the capybara experience came with a £5 voucher to use on food, which was a really nice bonus. Overall, Chew Valley Animal Park is a fantastic place to visit. Between the amazing animals, the interactive enclosures, the cuddle time with the smaller pets, the knowledgeable staff, and even the little touches like food vouchers and plenty of washing stations, it felt like a really well rounded day out. I’ll definitely be coming back again.”

“Easy parking, Big animal area but not too big for toddlers to get around. Nice play park area with slides and forts to climb. Plenty of picnic benches to eat snacks. Really this place is just perfect for younger children. Nice staff too. Will definitely make this a regular place to visit ☺️”

“Did one of their experience days with my Dad this weekend. Fantastic day. Learned a lot and enjoyed being able to hold the birds. Highly recommend a visit! I think we’ll go back to see the other animals at the centre on one of their open days if possible. A slight heads up, one of the flights of the birds involved having an owl fly to you and being able to hand feed it some raw chicken. The chap did ask if anyone wasn’t comfortable with touching the raw chicken piece. Normally I wouldn’t be comfortable without immediately washing my hands (which would have been impractical) but this was not my first bird of prey experience so I was prepared with sanitising hand wipes. But it was good of them to check everyone was okay with it. Just something to consider if you’re going to do an experience and are a bit icked out by that part.”

“Lovely for a day out. So so many different play areas for children, both indoor and out. An excellent tractor and old farm machinery exhibition and lovely friendly £1 tractor rides.”

“What a great place to bring your children for fun! There's play equipment for the bigger children as well as for toddlers. The food in the cafe is excellent quality. Proper coffee, lots of choice plus vegan milk options :)”
