“I’m hoping to move to Cardiff later this year so have been exploring the city for my favourite spots, and this is definitely one of them! Bakers is so beautifully decorated and the vibe in there is amazing. There is so much to choose from food wise and it all looks delicious, from homemade cakes to pancakes, breakfast items and afternoon tea. The staff are so wonderful, super attentive and friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. I can’t wait to go back and try more from the menu, thank you for a wonderful experience!”

“This pub was close to our Bed and Breakfast place. The food and drinks were good & reasonably priced. It was our first dinner in Wales and we enjoyed our experience. The ambiance in the pub was nice.”

“Wow, just came up from London to see my daughter who lives locally, she raved about this pub & it didn’t disappoint. The bar staff were friendly, drinks were perfect, even the locals were nice, but the food? The best fish & chips I’ve had. The others had huge burgers (chicken & Beefburger) which I tasted & were out of this world. It’s a proper pub & I can’t wait to go back!”

“Brilliant afternoon tea experience for myself and partner with our 2.5 year old daughter. Jane and the team were very accompanying of her and even did a mini afternoon tea for her. The afternoon tea itself was superb too, I ate it all! Lovely old school furniture and feel to the place with a welcoming team. Very clean and tidy. Great to have 2 hours free parking just across the road. Would highly recommend anyone to visit jaspers if they want a great experience of afternoon tea! Love the paintings around the place too. We will be back!”

“This was my 1st time in this coffee house as the one I normally use was shut due to a referb. I was delighted that the coffee was superb and well priced. This could be my new regular stop off. It has a nice interior layout as well, all the things that make your coffee stop worth while.”

“Been here numerous times over the years and seen landlords try to release the potential. Whoever has taken the reins has eventually achieved it. This might just be the best pub in Weston at the moment. Atmosphere and food were amazing but what really made our evening was the bar staff. Attentive and charming young crew, keep it up guys. We'll be back.”

“Loved this lovely snack bar situated on the top of Caerphilly Mountain. From there you can follow a number of trails, taking you on a few Circular routes. We found the cream of the crop when we discovered a World War ii Spitfire that had crashed into Caerphilly Mountain in 1914, there were no surviers, but a memorial has been maintained just off the main trails. We had refreshments at the snack bar and enjoyed. First class service guys.”

“Quaint little pub that unless you knew it was there you wouldn't know about it. Shame there's no food served there however a great selections of beers and ales. Friendly service and good atmosphere. Saw that they advertised live bands, which is on a Saturday night but unfortunately I was there kn a Friday!!!”

We had a great visit, the young man serving was very attentive and friendly, the food was extremely tasty and great portions and the whole place was clean and tidy, a nice relaxed and warm atmosphere. “Good food. Fantastic service + atmosphere. Great prices. Swordfish pasta in fish stock is a must-try. Great combination of seafood flavour and cherry tomatos. They have lunch hour specials on weekdays from 12-2pm. £10 for 2 course, £13 for 3 course.”

“Hanna the owner is the most loveliest person I've met. Was super patient and kind when we were unsure of what to get. Gave her recommendation. Gave my cousin a free cake for her birthday and just did more than I expected. And the staff she has are phenomenal so kind. If you ever go tell them the guy that had the hazelnut tea idea told you to go.”

“Banging special pizzas from the owner.. great customer service paid 20£ for two 12” the owner gave me a can and 2 sauces for free !! I recommend red chilli 10/10 amazing!!”
