βThis was an insightful museum to visit, delving into the economic drivers of Weston-Super-Mare throughout time! One section has old railway signage and talks about how the train connectivity brought more money into the town, a boat is shown separately from its industrial heydays. The former Donkey Chair taxi and a model of Weston in the 1960's are unique additions, shopping history is also delved into as the prominent items are touched on and the town's post-World War 2 period. Tourism's impact is another key point even incorporating outfits here, love the puppet theatre attraction as well!β
βDriven past many times, so I'm so glad I popped in. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Good choice on the menu. Very reasonable prices. Breakfast was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The open fire made it very comfy. Glad I did pop in. Will definitely be going in again. Would recommend.β
βVisited cardiff for the first time since Christmas lockdown and my further appreciation of whiskey. Visited wallyβs and was greeted by an attentive customer service who asked what type of whiskey I liked and offered some samples. Found Balblair 12 year old to my liking. Highly recommend.β
βI didnβt end up buying any shoes because they didnβt have the colour I wanted but Paul was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about sizing and helped me pick the correct size which I would have never thought to try myself, really appreciated the expert advise!!β
βA great range of quality, modern clothing and shoes. Hard to resist buying buying something on every visit! If you havenβt visited before then you must pop inβ¦ and buy something!β
βFresh, tasty burger and quick delivery Can't fault Bashed! Food is always amazing. Full of flavour. Would definitely recommend. Tried the others but these guys make by far the best bashed burgers in Barry.β

βStumbled across this lovely little wine bar by accident. The staff (Gabe and Luca) were so knowledgeable and the choice exceptional. A hidden gem.β
βI enjoyed dining at Funky Tastes Fusion and trying their jollof rice with portions of beef. The dish was simply amazing! The flavours were rich and complex, with a perfect balance of spice. The meat was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cosy and inviting. I can't wait to return and try more of their delicious African dishes.β
βAll the staff here are so friendly and helpful, weβre always put at ease and feel listened to. The reception staff always seem pleased to see us and are kind and warm with us even when our dogs are behaving less than perfectly. The clinician I have seen has always taken the time to listen to concerns and explain things clearly as well as offer advice.β
βA wonderful little hidden cider farm. It was a wonderful stroll around the small orchard and relax in the hammocks there. The little shop was very pleasant, and staff very friendly. It was nice to feed the pigs whilst on our visit. Will return when next this wayβ
βReally lovely clean rooms with a 10/10 breakfast, welcoming kind staff and the perfect setting for children with the small park and fish pond. My only feedback would be the curtains. The room was lovely and bright, as the front wall and door are all windows, but this did mean that it didn't get fully dark until gone 10pm (if at all) and was very bright by 5am, granted this was exacerbated by having a toddler in tow, so might not bother others as much. We will be back for sure!β
βWent to Yakitori1 for lunch before Book of Mormon at the Millennium Centre. Really excellent food and service. We had the Robata Nigiri Surf n Turf, the flamed Nigiri special, Dragon roll and Kaarage chicken noodles. All were delicious although we both felt the Surf n Turf Nigiri was nice but didn't warrant the price. Overall paid Β£90 for the food and two beers. Would definitely go here again when on Cardiff Bayβ
βDecided to come here for a bite before driving back home. Had a calamari to start with, well presented. A medium rare stake to follow and a tiramisu to finish. The calamari was good and tasty, just a bit on the thinner side. The stake was cooked medium rare as requested, seasoned just right and the sauce that it came with made it even better. The tiramisu was just great, just how a tiramisu should be. Great service from the staff as well. Having dinner with a good view and some live music from around makes it a really nice place to be at. Finishing off with a shot of limoncello is a nice touch! Definitely will be back when I visit Cardiff again!!!β
βUndoubtedly one of the best independent cafes in Cardiff. We enjoyed our lattes and tipsy latte (coffee with baileys). The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will visit again!β
βThis place is so cute! Like a mini castle. The scones.. marvellous! The tea, well I didn't actually have tea but I bet it's the real deal. I had coffee and some scones (I know.. I know) I'll be back though. It's a small tea room with extra seating upstairs, all very relaxing. Definitely worth a visit.β
βTried new bottomless brunch with sister and daughter,a good but smaller selection to eat and drink but not disappointed with both. service excellent (thank you Emily) as always definitely will be backβ
βWhat a lovely cafe. Really friendly staff. Lovely looking cakes and excellent choice of drinks. Great location with views. Lots of covered seats if wet. Spot on!β
βOne of the best farm days out we have had. Really good value for money. There's loads to see and do here like Tractor rides, quads in the barn etc. Highly recommend for all the family.β
βLovely place feels very homely, service was on point, the two lunch menuβs had great variety and keen prices - would recommend anyone to eat here - GREAT PLACE we opted for the fish and chips today and tasted great - well done we shall see you soonβ
βBought food from here twice and both times the food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect.β
βMy girlfriend and I dined here for the first time last Thursday and we walked away smiling about the lovely food and customer experience. Service was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was first class and there was plenty of it. I had a lunch box fit for a king the next day. We will be back! Thank you!β
βWhat an amazing place to eat out! Absolutely loved their vegan dishes. Food was fresh and flavourful. Shout out to James for excellent hospitality. Would definitely visit again. :) Note: If you are vegan or not eating seafood, then please make sure you double check complementary rice crispies as they had a bit of seafood-like smell to them.β
βWe visited as a large group to celebrate a birthday, and both the food and service were fantastic. The staff did an excellent job serving all 13 of us efficiently, and everyoneβs steaks were cooked perfectly. The house wine was great value too. When it came to settle at the end, the bill didnβt clearly list each item, which made it a bit awkward to work out what everyone owed. Iβm worried that the extra tip each of us contributed, may have been accidentally absorbed into the remaining balance for the person who paid last. I think due to this, we didnβt leave anything for the wonderful service. This was totally our fault! We will make up for it when we return as weβll definitely be back!β
βReally nice beach side coffee shop. Went in for a drink to take for our travel home. I got a kinder latte and my friend got a chai latte (?) With oat milk. The gent that served us was amazing and even asked if the alternate milk choice was a preference or an intolerance. When told it was an intolerance he told us it would be done in a seperate jug and cleaned twice. Very good with allergens!β
βFirst time visiting.came with a friend we Had breakfast which was amazing. Girls were very polite and helpful. Well done to the chef. Will definitely recommend and visit againβ
βI visited canna deli for the first time today for brunch, the food and staff were so lovely, I highly recommend if you want to go to a cozy cafe for brunch:)β
βMy absolute favourite pizza in Cardiff! I've lived in Cardiff since 2011 and have tried many different takeaway pizzas. I can say with absolute certainty that no other place I have tried beats Frankie's. The pizza base is delicious, light and full of flavour, and the topping are high quality, not too much cheese or sauce. The sides, although smaller in quantity than some places, are not greasy, and are so tasty! They clearly put a lot of time into the recipe for the flavouring of the chicken goujons. Really friendly drivers as well. I'll always come back to Frankie's :Dβ
βAmazing food, coffee and service and incredible Waffles . This independent coffee shop beats any of the chain ones and I canβt wait to go back.β
βIt felt like home. I visited with a friend last summer (we are both Nigerian). The aroma, people and music were all so lively. The staff were so friendly and engaging. It felt like weβd known each other, just like it is at home. Not to mention, the foods were so tasty and affordable. We had to take some back home with us! The only issue is that it can be a little hard to find as there was no sign board. I returned in November with other friends, but locating it was hard, and when we called the number provided here, we found out it was closed, opening/closing isnβt updated on here. I hope to return when next Iβm in Cardiff.β
