βMy Boo had to be put to sleep in May. The staff were amazing In July I got a 'Sorry for your loss' card with cuttings of her fur..I was not expecting this so this Team go out of their way to express condolences. 10 out of ten. Made me smile and cry all at once and memories of Boo are always with meβ
βBest vets around. Extremely professional friendly and caring. Would highly recommend to anyone. Even got in the back of my car to treat my dog when he was in too much pain to move β€οΈβ
βLovely, friendly vet. We have seen her before with our cat and she never fails to give him lots of fuss. Treatment kept simple and effectiveβ
βGreat team, put the animals first, looked after my dog well after a spay complication and kept me updated every 2 hours. Can't fault the serviceβ
βOur cat Lucy had become very ill She has always been looked after by the lodge vets. They treated her for repeated tummy problems over the last couple of years but the time had come to put her to sleep. They couln't have been kinder to Lucy and us. She passed away very peacefully. Well done to the veterinary team. They are a credit to the practice. Highly recommended.β
βWould highly recommend all of the team at Avonvale - they have looked after our equine family for over 20 years now. Claire is exceptional with both our competition ponies, and our elderly retired ones - she is pragmatic, supportive and hugely responsive. Not afraid of the difficult conversations, which she handles with equal amounts of sensitivity and pratical advice. I completly trust her and her team to do the best for our ponies - as well as hugley knowledgeable and current, they are transparent, honest and always available. Thank youβ
βA very special thank you to Jack for all of his help. I was buying a horse whom he had experience with and Walnut Hill weβre going to vet for me and he called me ahead of the vetting to disclose her medical history of which the seller had not disclosed to me. If it wasnβt for his honesty, I donβt know what wouldβve happened if I had brought her home. Thank you again Jackβ
βNot too far to travel and no waiting thanks to a timely appointment.β
βThis is an amazing Vets. I go to the one at Castle Bromwich. The receptionists are kind and caring. The vets are amazing. One in particular, Emma has saved my dog, Bailey, who is just one year old, twice now. Without her, he would not be here. She is like his fairy godmother. I would highly recommend this practice.β
βI attended VETS Now emergency clinic in Coventry on Saturday afternoon with my kitten who was vomiting + hadn't eaten for 2 days, on the advice of a vet I consulted prior to going. It was stressful as I was on my own + my kitten was in obvious distress. The reception staff were lovely + engaged with me from the out set. I had to wait about 20 mins to see a vet but when I did she immediately explained the situation + was very mindful of the stressful situation I was in +, more importantly, the cost of the visit, so wasn't about to offer any treatment not needed at that point, which I found extremely refreshing. She treated my kitten after a thorough examination + explain what to expect in the following days + how to go forward . I was very reassured + my kitten improved almost immediately. The only downside is the cost of the whole experience. To just walk through the door is over Β£300, ( I was advised of this before going). However, as my insurance company cap the emergency cost at Β£200 I am now out of pocket by over Β£100, which just adds to the stress of it all. I know that is down to my insurance company's policy but I am guessing it's the same with most insurance companies. No one attends an emergency clinic if they don't have to, + not all people have insurance etc. I, personally, don't know how they arrive at the Β£300 plus fee but it would be nice if it could be brought down to a little closer to the amount most insurance companies accept + pay.β
βI lost my best friend, Tommy, 4 days ago. We couldnβt have chosen a more compassionate, calm, understanding, lovely team of people to deal so delicately with his passing. The final product is beautifully arranged, done with the highest quality - more than befitting for the deep loss we feel, which is immeasurable. We simply cannot recommend them enough. And thank you again Jon and Mandy for your kindness during this painful time. Matt & Ebony xβ

βBrought our sphynx in today, and didnt expect to get talking to Lucy who works here, she is a fountain of knowledge, she answered literally every question we had! The lovely American lady was also absolutely brilliant with our cat and made her feel as comfortable as possible when being examined. Thank you!β
βWe've been using this vet for almost 5 years now and despite moving further away we decided to continue to use this branch as the care we've received has always been amazing. Our first cat got cancer and unfortunately we didn't have insurance for however the practice treated us with care and understanding to do everything they could to support our cat with treatments we could afford. Sadly she didn't make it despite their faultless efforts. After a few years we eventually decided to adopt again and more recently had to visit due to an illness. Again the same care and attention, this time we a cat back to full health which we're so thankful for. A special shout out to Marcin who has been our primary vet on many occasions, he's always brilliant and shows a clear care for the pets he's caring for. You'll never be pressured to spend money on a treatment that's not required and you'll always know your pet is in safe hands coming here.β
βI am raw with the loss of my beloved Angus today. All those who cared for him deserve heartfelt praise for their compassion, upfront no nonsense approach and transparency with everything. I would particularly like to mention Greg & Sophie; the kind hearted vets, the vet nurse and the lovely lady on reception (I'm so sorry I forgot your name) (long day) who gave me a most welcome hug. Angus and his mum and dad are thankful for you guysβ
βWe usually go to the Broad Lane surgery, but due to not being able to get an appointment for 2 weeks, we were redirected to the Balsall Common practice. Loads of car parking, no waiting, straight in and out. Even left the car there whilst we walked the dog around a lovely park, behind the shops, which, in all my years I never knew existed.β
