“The food was super delicious, Korma Chicken and the Mango Lassi is recommended. Staff very hard-working and friendly. At first we were a bit skeptical, since the restaurant was completely empty at 6 p.m....but absolutely unfounded. Also have a lot to do with deliveries.”
“We had a lovely dining experience at The Space restaurant inside DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport. We ordered the hummus with lamb, Aberdeen Angus burger, and Caesar salad — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the hummus was rich and delicious, paired with warm bread. A special thank you to Finn, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. His excellent assistance made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend The Space for anyone looking for a high-quality meal near Edinburgh Airport.”
“We liked this restaurant so much we ate here twice during our three day vacation. The food is so flavorful- we especially liked the skewers and hot and sour soup. The portions are large, it’s really well priced, and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommend!”
“Not being from Dundee and for that reason wasn't familiar with Dundee's food places, we thought we would give Mazaj a try based on its reviews. It surely didn't disappoint! The mezze platter was one of the best mezze platters I've ever had. The mixed grill was full of flavours, very tasty. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful and the manager was really nice and talkative. Definitely recommend!”
“Ordered a takeaway from Slumdog for our anniversary celebration and the food was delicious. Chicken was lovely, sauces were excellent with loads of flavours. Order was delivered earlier than expected. Delivery driver was very friendly. Will definitely order from here again and will also try the restaurant soon.”
“Perfect room. Amazing bed. Bathroom spotless. Staff helpful, friendly, and efficient. Breakfast very, very good. Evening meal menu ok, if you lije American-style food, such as brioche buns, sickly bbq sauces, and frozen veg. Fish and chips very nice, pizza is the best value. Don't have any warmed-up desserts, they're blasted in the microwave and either rock hard or the chocolate is burnt. Definitely stay here again, though, the beds are fantastic.”
“You can never go wrong with a Premier Inn! Really enjoyed our stay here for a short get-away with our friends to Edinburgh for the Christmas Market. Rooms excellent as always with friendly, helpful staff. We didn't have food in the hotel restaurant, there's obviously lots of options nearby. Uber Eats / Just Eat have lots of delivery options to the hotel too. Slightly 'out of it' in terms of location, 20 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station and the city centre. Not really a problem though, as we never waited more than 10 minutes for a cab into the city.”
“Hi Folks. We’d just like to thank Ang, Donna, Natalie & fellow staff, for their terrific service during our two night stay. We had quite a deal to organise while packing for our trip back to Australia, after an extended time in the UK. They helped in many ways and we’d like to say how much we appreciated their positive attitude & solutions to several challenges, thanks again, hope the books, gumboots etc prove to be useful !! Thanks again. Scotty & Katy.”
“Absolutely fine. I highly recommend not waiting at the "wait to be seated" sign at breakfast. The waitress loves customers who do this. Seldom one gets to see adults employed in the service industry exhibit such interesting behaviour. Worth the trip alone ! Hurry up and book your stay before she gets a job she actually likes”
“Brilliant experience staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are really clean and tidy and modern. A few essentials are missing such has a kettle and hairdryer but that is a nitpick. The access to a gym is really handy as well if you want to start your day with a workout. The location is really good just a few minutes away From Princess Street.”
“Had the absolute best time here! Bonus points for the amazing gluten free base available!”
“Michael our server was a very nice lad, genuinely happy person with great service. Sometimes at TGIs kindness can seem fake, but his was genuine. We had a great time and the food was great, and super filling. We did wait slightly longer for the first drinks to arrive, but this may have been due to the restaurant having lots of people in, for a lunch time, it isn't usually that busy. The staff coped well though. I'd be happy to come back here again.”
“Sharon at the front door and Beth at the till both very friendly and welcoming. I really loved the atmosphere and the greeting arriving here after a long day from shopping. We changed places about 3 different times and it wasn't a problem at all. The 1st question I was asked if I had any allergies from both staff. We asked a few questions and was able to give a detailed answer followed by the code to follow onto the phone. I am still waiting to eat”
“Golden Dragon in Edinburgh is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by Thant. He and the rest of his co workers were very attentive from start to finish. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and care that goes into the cooking here. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was cozy, and everything came out quickly without ever feeling rushed. I’ve eaten at plenty of Chinese restaurants over the years, but this one truly stands out l it’s a spot I’ll definitely be coming back to whenever I’m in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!”
“One of the best meals I had on holiday. I had the sesame chicken and my partner had ribs. Both of us loved it. Also, the mocktails were incredibly tasty.”
“We loved the burgers and the chicken quesadilla! Super comfortable, and great deals.”
“A great stay. Rooms are a bit small, but completely functional. Otherwise, the hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel let us check in super early after arriving from a long day of travel, which was very appreciated. About a 10 minute walk from the tram, and an easy 1 mile walk to the centre of Edinburgh.”
“Lovely location for a hotel, just a 10 minutes walk from the castle and the royal mile. Very scenic buildings in the vicinity. Staff very polite and helpful, looked after the bags on the day of checking out so we could make the most out of our last day. Modern, clean room with good temperature control. A very good stay and perfect hotel for a couple.”
“We stayed here for 3 nights during an event at the Royal Highland Centre. Location couldn’t have been more perfect as the entrance is a mere 3 steps away from the hotel car park. Getting here was easy off the main road as was parking. Just remember to pay for your parking in reception and not using the qr codes in the car park as you’ll get it half price. Check-in was a breeze with all staff polite from the moment we arrived to the time we departed. Reception has a small shop area with drinks and snacks and a vending machine with all your holiday essentials that you likely forgot to pack. The airport terminal is only a 15min walk away too but constant shuttles work their way from the hotel if you arent up for a walk. The airport terminal has a tram stop which for £10 return takes you straight into the centre of Edinburgh. Our room was 34 on the ground floor. Great size and spotlessly clean. Great to see dove hand wash, body wash and shampoo along with the usual tea and coffee stuff, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Only complaint is the mattress is well past its shelf life and all its spring has sprung. Very soft and we just kept rolling into the middle but beyond that the room was perfect. Free unlimited breakfast in the morning. Muffins, croissants, pancakes machine, cereals as well as the typical hot choices like sausages, bacon, eggs etc. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would definitely go back.”
“Clean and tidy rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. The room was lacking some storage space apart from a tiny rack with a bit of space above for a few tops. Needs a cupboard or chest of drawers!! Staff friendly and very helpful and it's position in the centre made all of the tourist attractions easily to reach...”
“Cairn was the perfect hotel for our stay! The room was a bit small but had a spacious bathroom and big bed, plus, how long do you really spend in the room anyway? All services worked and the location was a short walk to city center! Helen was a gracious staff member and really helped us out when we needed it. Thanks again!”
“Ordered from them tonight and unfortunately had some items missing. However we just gave them a call and a very nice delivery driver came back with our food plus chocolate cake! It was a simple gesture but much appreciated. The rest of the food was very tasty and I really enjoyed the pizza in particular.”
“my favourite chinese takeaway in the area, the food is always so nice and it always arrives fast and hot. service is really nice too if you have any issues they are always very nice about it, love you lucky chen”
“The food is excellent and the service exceptional. We really enjoyed the overall experience especially with how they treat us. Kudos to the whole team!”
“This is a fish and chip shop that serves food. We had the small fish tea that was just the right size for an early dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The shop/restaurant was very clean and the staff appeared to follow good hygiene practices. Would definitely recommend.”
“For what you pay it's great value. Campus grounds are nice, Reception staff great. The bedroom is basic but the bed is very comfortable. The shared bathroom is clean but basic. Breakfast is fab. If you're on a budget or want something a little different I'd highly recommend it.”
“Can store bags at the Royal. The Haymarket is lovely with pleasant staff and resteraunt reasonably priced. The added bonus is that our train wasn't due until 6pm. We could store our bags, but didnt want the 1 hour walk from train station and back to collect them. We asked and they have a policy that bags can be stored in other Leonardo hotels, so we dropped them off at the Royal next to the train station for free and enjoyed our day worry free.”
“This was one of the nicest Hotels that we stayed at on our Insights Vacations tour of UK and Ireland and in a great position. Note the fridge in the room is a cooler not a fridge (works ok if you get a bucket of ice from the bar) Also a note that both my wife and I thought Cass on reception was fantastic and made our stay even better with her helpful advise and pleasant personality”
“Vapiona is a pretty great restaurant. You get to customise your pasta and it’s all freshly prepared. There are loads of options but vegetarian and non vegetarian. It’s also quite cheap. There is a lot of seating space and you can also see the chefs prepare your food. They also have loads of drinks on the menu and also mocktails. The service is super quick.”
“Grace looked after the 25 of us all at the store came with the pizza and explained abiut our air bubble in the pizza so we got our free one very helpful and polite great staff member well done”
