One phonecall to Torrance Taxis and Sarah had dispatched a taxi with a wheelchair ramp immediately to our location, friendly efficient and excellent local service.”

“Oh my goodness!!! This was such an amazing spa!! We've been to many and One Spa is definitely at the top of my list. After traveling Ireland and the UK, we thought it would be nice to spend the last day of our trip at the Spa to relax and rejuvenate. My husband and I chose the "Signature at One" package that included 1 hour and 50 minute treatment (body scrub, facial and massage). It also included 3 hours of their Thermal Spa experience. It was absolutely amazing and I recommend everyone experience it!”

Let us use our own playlist for the birthday party which the kids loved. Can see why this is so popular for birthday parties in the area. Will be back with the kids some time soon”

“We had our son's 6th birthday party here. Our host Jennah was amazing. So friendly and sweet. She did so much for us, putting our extra things in the party bags, cutting the cake and putting it in to the bags, kept us informed of times, etc and how everything works. She did extra things like helping decorate the party table with our stuff, and putting together fiddly masks etc. she did so much! And made everything so easy for us. The food was brilliant - we had sandwiches, pizza and chips and little ice-creams. And they kept us topped up with drinks. The softplay area is awesome anyway and the kids had so much fun and didn't want to leave!! We were impressed with the party bags too - they had really cool stuff for kids of any age. I really can't speak highly enough of the party service! It was the best.”

“Booked this hotel very last minute after staying in what was the worst hotel I've ever visited. Happy with the price which although is expensive, isn't that bad for Edinburgh. The hotel is surrounded by bars and restaurants but I didn't hear any of this from my room (I was on the fourth floor). The reception staff were polite and informative, giving me the details I needed for my stay and informing me where the room was. Unlike other boutique hotels in Edinburgh I've stayed at there is a lift (elevator for our American friends). The entire hotel is clean and fresh wish lush carpets (makes me assume was recently upgraded). My room was very generous, high ceilings and a very comfortable bed. There is an iron and ironing board, kettle with tea and coffee etc. (as you would expect). I would very happily stay here again”

“Came here on a date night after finding it on google maps. Wow what a lovely little hidden gem off of Leith Walk. We are currently on a food journey exploring different authentic cuisines and Stack Dim Sum was just that! We tried the Char Siu Bun- which was fluffy and sweet and succulent. Slow Braised Chicken Claw in Black Bean- which was flavourful, succulent again and different! The Vietnamese spring roll was one of our favourites which came with fresh lettuce on the side. The wager crispy prawn soya skin roll was served with Worcestershire sauce and had delicious prawn inside! My favourite was the Slow Braise Cubed Beef in rich chi hou sauce with noodles! All food came fast, fresh and very hot! Atmosphere is quiet and almost private but for a date night it’s lovely to just sit and eat and enjoy your meal together! Altogether with two coca-colas was £37! Very reasonable, lovely staff, definitely will come back with a bigger crowd!”

“Absolutely Brilliant. Can't rate Stephanie highly enough. She actually booked us onto our flights to the USA and sent us the online boarding passes. There was an issue with our Fly Be (when is there not) flight and getting booked online, and Stephanie took over and just did it for us, all part of the cost and service. On our Virgin Flight from London, we were delayed and had to land at Bangor Maine for an hour. Even though it was now 12.00 midnight in the UK, Stephanie had been on the app (Travel Counsellors have a great app for updates) and had checked out the airline to see how delayed we would be and let us know (we were able to turn our phones on again, as soon as we were in the USA, while on the ground waiting to be fuelled). I was able to chat to her as well live, so she helped us know what the problem was, how long it would be delayed and also contacted our car hire company in the USA, to let them know we would be late arriving. Such great service, above and beyond. We have no issue recommending Stephanie at Travel Counsellors.”
