βGreat wee cafe and the breakfast was first class. I will definitely be back.β
βThis is a casual pub with great food provided by a couple of street vendors. The pizza were amazing and the loaded fries very good, they catered for our GF people and were so great to deal with for our big group. We would come back again. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. Great place.β
βAs an exiled Glaswegian I returned to my favourite iconic pub for a pie and a pint. The beer was great but unfortunately the βpeely Wallyβ pie was a disaster! Gone was the pie oven on the bar (probably health & safety) replaced by a dumb waiter. More importantly the so called pie was crust and pastry with a teaspoonful of filling for the princely sum of Β£2.60! Please, please change your supplier and revert back to a proper greasy Glasgow pie which actually tasted of something and everyone loved and waxed lyrically about.β
βWe go to The Ark all the time, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always lively but relaxed, perfect for catching up with friends or watching a game. The food and drinks are great value, and the place is always clean and well looked after. A special mention to Cara, who always serves us with a smile, making the experience even better. Sheβs friendly, attentive, and always goes out of her way to make sure everythingβs spot on. Itβs staff like her that keep us coming back every time! Highly recommend The Ark to anyone looking for a great pub in the city centre.β
βAbsolutely fantastic place. Great Rock music in the background, and unlike other hard rock cafes I've been in other cities around the world, this Glasgow one actually features rock music, and not pop or commercial artists. Food was undoubtedly delicious, pretty good selection of dishes, all finger-licking. Staff was absolutely wonderful and had the chance to be looked after by the manager himself who was the kindest and coolest person ever. Offered to place a request for music songs that we wanted. Great experience, would definitely recommend, and be coming again. Be prepared for prices a bit high, it's hard Rock Cafe after all, their stuff won't be very cheap.β
βWas lovely food service very pleasantβ
βWonderful little cafe, busy but the service team was amazing and totally kept on top of orders with the efficiency of a well oiled machine. Food was just superb, highlights were hash browns being crunchy packets of fluffy potato, & the black pudding was top restaurant quality cooked to perfection. Best breakfast Iβve had in a very very long time, and not by a small margin. Iβll definitely be coming back, just to check itβs not a one-off! 11/10 - would recommendβ
βGreat cafe, friendly service, reasonable priceβ
βAbsolutely banging, I could get addicted. Chips n gravy don't look appealing but trust me, they are amazing.β
βGreat place for to get something to eatβ
βMyself, friends, and family have all been going here for years now. The lady who answers the phone and the man who cooks are always really nice and friendly. The food is always really good and well priced for what it is. Would recommend to anyone who's looking for good cafe food or simple rolls. I can't understand any of the negative reviews.β
βAbsolutely rate this place we hidden gem staff were so friendly they use good ingredients "Stornoway blackpudding" the breakfast was lovely and they let my baby Pomeranian in can't fault them at all 10β
βChicken Curries Are Delicious Here,Would Recommend It.β
βParticularly friendly and helpful staff. Showed special attention to my widowed, very elderly father which makes him return regularly as a friend.β
βAlways get a BLT and it's always perfectβ
βThis is the best cafe in Paisley/Renfrew. I went this morning for breakfast not looking my best, and the owner(?) was great. Great prices, best breakfast I've had in my life, great location, great decor. Thank-you!β
βLovely tasting shisha and the best pot of tea I've ever tasted. So much flavour in the tea. Very welcoming. Thank you.β
βHad a lovely lunch in here on Nov 5th. Fantastic value for money. Two of us got three courses and a soft drink each for 21 pound. The price does not mean poor quality however; the food was delicious. Highly reccomend.β
βFavourite cafe in my local area. Staff are consistently pleasant and professional, even during busy times. Lovely interiors and a great outdoor seating area complete with flowers. I love their coffee and, although I haven't tried much of their food, what I have had was high quality. It's expensive but, to me, worth it for the positive experience.β
βThe kids had an amazing time here, Even though I thought it would be a little bigger the play area is a little compact. But so much fun nonetheless. The staff was friendly one lady in particular even took the time to write out a few other places for me. I forgot your name but thank you so much for making us feel so welcomed in the soft play area and in Scotland in general.β
βgreat venue for confernce, staff are amazing Carol ensured all needs were met,,,nothing was a problem, lunch provided by Oasis cafe was first class, Tony and lateshift caretaker. couldnt do enough,, would def recommend this venue thank you very much wil def use again :)β
βVery good hotel right at the city centre with some good views Very accessible and the car park is handy incase you drive. Good buffet selection available for breakfast. The room had no soap available in the bathroom, I wish this can be checked before a new guest is booked.β
βThe location was downtown and bus stops all around. The room was perfect - just as described. Shower was good. The kitchen had what we needed. The washer/dryer worked well. The area isn't ideal, but we had no trouble because we made sure we weren't out and about late at night.β
βRefreshed, rejuvenated and ready to serve the local people of Hyndland and beyond following a major refurbishment. The decor is a perfect blend of homely feel and sophistication. Looking forward to many more pints!β
βExceptional service and delectable cuisine. Mr. Jahanzeb, your culinary creations were truly exceptional, and the entire family thoroughly enjoyed them. The food was exceptionally mouthwatering and satisfying..β
βJust returned from my daughterβs 21st which we had in the function room. lovely intimate space with nice decor and a well stocked bar. The buffet was fresh and plentiful and enjoyed by all. The staff in this place were incredible. From the moment we arrived to set up and decorate the room they could not have been more friendly and helpful. Nothing was a bother inc offering us a cuppa while we set up and letting two hungry teens order food from the restaurant menu. Thanks to Shauna, Karen (I think) and our fab barman for the night (sorry didnβt get your name). All our guests commented on how nice it was and how theyβd be back to try out the restaurant. Donβt hesitate to book here for functions - brilliant!!β
βWhat an amazing place! We booked a time the day before as its a popular place. It has an old pub feel with the best Scottish pies! We were fortunate to be there while a group of fiddlers were playing. Everyone was very nice and helpful as well.β
βVisited on a Thursday afternoon, on a whim and I am so glad I stopped in. Extremely dog friendly pub with great food and wide selection of spirits to warm one up of a brisk afternoon. The Cullen Skink was excellent, served with ample buttered bread. But the atmosphere is what I loved, it simply feels like a traditional pub. Look forward to visiting again soon.β
βWent to the merchant for a few drinks VBLβs with a mate. VBLs were very nice however the highlight of the night was meeting Archie on the doors. Absolute legend will be back soonβ
