“Bright and modern. Very clean and very comfortable beds. The flat had everything I needed and is conveniently located, making going out to the shops or for a some food and drinks easy and accessible. Karolina was pleasant and helpful. Would book here again.”

“Best place and contact them directly for best rates”
“A Lovely Local Hotel.. I'm fact the only Hotel left in the Beautiful Town of Lesmahagow. Reasonably Priced Ale/Beer/Cider and Spirits. Shorts and Shots a Pool Table and a friendly team behind the Bar make it a delightful experience morning noon or night.”
“Had a lovely stay at this flat. Good central location and parking provided which was a bonus. Everything you need for a short stay. Tommy was perfect host and will definitely book again if in the area.”
“We were looking for a hotel/B& B in the west end as we were attending a concert at the Hydro and we found found this little gem. The service we received was 2nd to none with all the staff we encountered friendly and helpful. The décor in the place is very interesting with a dark but warm feel. The place is full of interesting objects that fit in really well with the style of the building. The room we had was spacious with great view out over Glasgow. The breakfast was continental style with plenty on offer from pastries, fresh fruits salads, cold meats and cheese amongst countless other things. The coffee was good too. All in I would really recommend the Alfred as a quirky, friendly place to stay.”
“We loved the historical feel of this hotel and our room was very clean. They don’t do food but there are some good restaurants five minutes drive away.”
“Stayed over for a night. Wasnt sure wether to book from looking at the photos of the outside but glad we did. Met with a warm reception by staff. Inside much better than the outside. Clean room comfortable sleep and everything we needed for our short stay. Id stay again 100%.”
“Room well equipped and clean. Indian food was amazing, staff especially TJ very attentive and friendly. Handy location between Edinburgh Glasgow.”
“I've been a regular guest at the Brunswick Hotel for the past year on my work travels, and each visit consistently exceeds my expectations. Having travelled to Glasgow weekly for 2 years, I have tried every possible form of accommodation, including hotels and AirBnB's, and the Brunswick is, in my opinion, the best place to stay if you want to find the optimal balance between comfort, affordability and centrality of location. The rooms, including the standard rooms, are generously spacious for the price, with roomy en suites and luxurious showers. The rooms are impeccably clean, the beds are comfy and included are several really useful amenities: a desk, hairdryer, iron, and tea/coffee making facilities. Further, the staff go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and have numerous times extended me real kindness; this atmosphere seems a consequence of the hotel being a family-owned business. The staff's attentiveness and the overall ambiance of the Brunswick Hotel make it an ideal choice for anyone looking for comfort, luxury, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in Glasgow. I highly recommend it to both business travellers and tourists, and would have given it more stars if I could.”
“I stayed here for one night. Was able to change my check in time with no difficulty at all. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly receptionist and given keys to my room... there is someone on the front desk 24 hrs a day, this was very good for me especially as I needed to check out at 4am. Checking out was very simple, I just had to give keys back to desk. The room was very clean and had all the necessities, at the price of the rooms I was extremely happy with my stay and will be staying here again in the future!!”
“Just back from a mothers day meal at fullarton park. The meal was absolutely first class, beautifully presented and delicious. I had the chicken sizzler and white chocolate cheesecake and my son had red Thai curry and a chocolate brownie. Would recommend any of these dishes. The girls who looked after all of us were excellent. Lovely girls lovely food can't wait to go back”
“I very much enjoyed staying here. ☺️ Staff is kind and very helpful. The building has it old charm. There are 3 subways stations about 16-20 min walk. Kelvinhall is the best one as it is just a walk down the road and avoids the park at night. Bus stops just out front of hotel. There is loads of places to eat and there are grocery stores near by. The beds are a little uncomfortable. Besides the bed, I would stay here again”
“Such a lovely stay an amazingly warm welcome from Harry and Kiera who looked after us so well during our stay. Thank you to you both you are stars! The bar is lovely for a drink and a great breakfast as well. Bedrooms were spotless good size and lovely only down side was very warm and window opening restricted so felt a little stuffy.”
“Thank you today for the most amazing Santa's breakfast. Food was delicious. Entertainment was spot on. Lady who organised it was amazing. Wish I had half her energy. Santa was magical and thenpresents were spot on. Children loved it as did adults.”
“Fantastic company for short breaks in the UK, they have amazing deals and the staff are so friendly and helpful!”
“The hotel is exceptionally amazing, and the staff has excellent customer service. The room service was good, they cleaned the room every morning when i was out exploring Scotland. Ask the staff for anything and they be happy to help you out without ease.”
“I had a small function at home for 30 people and needed food. SAM the chef came through and absolutely smashed it. Full 5 option starters, 4 mains and all the usual accompaniments. The food was so tasty and came ready no need to heat up. Amazing price and thanks again for all help making wife’s 40th party food.”
“Don't be put off by the security guard or going back to the 80's when you get out the lift. The rooms are superb and we had a super king, with memory foam and an awesome shower. Loved the room”
“I am convinced to recommend staying here and there are several reasons; 1. Price is extremely reasonable. 2. They serve quite economic breakfast; there are two options: Scottish and continental breakfast. 3. Room and shared toilets and bathrooms/shower rooms are clean and well-managed and the numbers of shared shower rooms are enough. 4. Accessibility to Glasgow city centre is convenient; I could use the subway for reaching the centre. 5. The owner and staff are pretty accommodating and this is very Scottish. 5. You definitely will realise that you more love Scotland than England while staying here. Not crowded people are here, and the ambience was very tranquil unlike London and other England cities. I nowdays hate England, so I recommend to visit this hotel and hopefully relish Scotland traveling.”
