“Lovely, cosy, welcoming place, and the staff were great. Dog friendly too which was great as we're on holiday with our little dog Stevie for the first time so he was able to come for lunch with us! Thank you The Canny Man.”
“Just to share credit where its due. Dakota and Chloe fantastic in their roles and very attentive to our noisy table. There was another female server who was great with us but didnt catch her name. Amazing staff and all deserve a lovely Christmas Break. We didnt order food but huge selection on the menu. Thank you”
“I took my two 17 year old girls for dinner and to join in on the new quiz. Service was absolutely fantastic even though it was extremely busy , food was amazing and the atmosphere was good . Good banter with the quiz and plenty of warning that we had to vacate by 9pm due to my daughters being under age . Tables are booked for next quiz and bringing some friends . The young girl on the bar was so friendly and told me that her sibling also worked there and introduced himself . Definitely will be back”
“My family have been visiting the Tullie Inn for several years now and have gotten to know the staff well. A big shout out to Debbie. Mary,Kim and the two lovely lads who have attended to us,treated us so well, shared a bit of humour and have been professional to a fault. The Tullie is undergoing some management changes and to be honest something felt very different on our last visit. Lighter, fresher. Debbie for one is very excited about the upcoming changes. I alwsys think that speaks volumes about a manager. Folks I think we need to visit here at Christmas for a truly magical experience!!”
“Great food Great staff exceptionally clean”
“Loved my sausage chips staff lovely friendly chippy highly recommended”
“Just spent two fantastic days at the Torrance Hotel, celebrating my Son’s Wedding, everything was amazing the venue and attention to detail was spot on, the staff throughout the hotel were all just lovey and very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, the meal at the Wedding reception was delicious as was the food we had in the restaurant, I have had many messages from friends & family saying what a fantastic day they all had, all complementing on the meal and the hotel in general. I would highly recommend this hotel as a Wedding Venue, or even for a visit to the restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.”
“Local to us but hadn’t tried their restaurant before - though seen good things online! We were in the regular restaurant as Sidings wasn’t open so we’ll be back to try that. It was midweek during the day and wasn’t busy. Service was quick and we were checked in on regularly. They have a good Market Menu Monday - Friday, 12pm - 4pm. We went for 2 courses for £14.95. Drinks are reasonably priced too. Went for the haggis fritters to start and the fish and chips for the main - really tasty and quick to come out!”
“Well what an amazing day, Lorraine, Amy and their staff did an outstanding job. Our wedding couldn’t have gone any better. From start to finish it was so professional and magical. The staff were outstanding and very helpful. Amy and Lorraine you both are stars, you made me feel not only clam but also beautiful. Honestly wouldn’t off had my wedding at any other venue you have all made my dream wedding come true we are forever grateful. Love the new Mr & Mrs York”
“Amazing experience! Used a voucher for dinner, wine and a show for £15 per person and it was well worth it. Staff are amazingly attentive and welcoming. Entertainment was brilliantly unique (attended on Wed night for Kitsch Cabaret) and the food was to die for! We had a set menu but my partner didn’t mind paying the extra for a sticky toffee pudding (after he ate a bit of mine and insisted he needed one for himself) Would 1000% recommend and would love to visit again.”
“Great meal served tonight by Daniel. He was super friendly and took good care of us. Food was tasty and fresh and the cocktails were superb! Recommended.”
“Went to the social for our work Christmas lunch. Was worried about figuring out the bill fairly for 10 people but Kayleigh was an absolute star making this as seamless as possible and the easiest night out I have ever had. When one of our group was going to be much later, she made sure to wrap their food in tinfoil to make sure it stayed warm. Kayleigh was incredibly attentive throughout our afternoon at the social, checking in regularly to make sure we had everything we need despite it being incredibly busy, even chasing up our drinks when they took a while to come. She offered a friendly face that made nothing seem a hassle (even when we knew we were being a hassle at points!) and had a good laugh with our group. It made such a difference to our work Christmas lunch out having someone as approachable and kind as Kayleigh serving us.”
“One of the best coffee houses in Glasgow, not just the coffee but the atmosphere and the cleanliness of the place. We are always lucky to be served by a very nice Scottish gentleman, he certainly raise the level high”
