“This place made the Best fried rice in Glasgow, with that green onion dancing on the top of the fresh made and hot fried fries. It’s authentic and very delicious!”

“Tuesday was my first time ordering food from the Peony Chinese Takeaway in Milngavie. The staff were pleasant and helpful with my order. The premises appeared clean. The food was excellent. I will definitely be back for all my future Chinese takeaways.”
“Top Chinese restaurant in the area. Ordered 1st time, and food was great.”

“Daughter wanted some sushi and decided to give this place a try. 4 dishes between the two of us and they were fantastic.”
“Everything catered for all covid safety measures adhered to had a great couple of hours in the beer garden thanks to Martin and Margaret lovely hosts always welcoming”
“This is my favourite Chinese takeaway. The service is great. I usually phone for a collection and all food is ready when I arrive. If I do get a delivery, the delivery time is usually only about 30-40 minutes, which is another plus. The menu is always being added to and there is a great variety, their satay sauce is my favourite right now.”
“I ordered a prawn curry and rice my girlfriend had chicken and cashew nuts takeaway, they all arrived hot and tasty. We were on a holiday break so we decided to have a treat and not cook on the last night of our holiday. Would highly recommend this place.”
“A lovely wee Chinese restaurant, we went for lunch and enjoyed tasty food from a decent, reasonably priced lunch menu. The waiter was friendly and efficient. A nice, intimate but informal atmosphere, the place is clean and welcoming.”

“First time here and was such an amazing dining experience. The food was all so delicious. The drinks were excellent. The music was great. Loved the full experience and will definitely be back again soon to go through more of the menu. Highly recommended.”
“I went to Bar Soba alone, to dine after a concert in Oran Mor, even though I appeared without booking they accommodated. The service was exemplary, they didn't hover and interject they just seemed a lot more intuitive; they came when things were finished or when I looked for assistance. I had prawn dumplings and chicken saté, without exaggeration these were the best of either I've EVER had! The dumplings were lightly fried and had a sumptuous filling. The saté tasted chargrilled but juicy with a slight topping of roasted peanuts and the sauce was glossy and rich. I had the chicken katsu for main, and I'll be damned: in 15 years of dining UK wide I've not had a combination of just enough rice to chicken ratio, which is rare (normally cheaper/shoddy places bulk on rice). The katsu it's self was exceptionally crispy whilst being juicy and visually pleasing! Just excellent food, executed exceptionally. I asked for water to start (normally this elicits a 'eurgh' and rolled eyes) and it was nice, whilst I browsed the drink menu. I had an old fashioned, a chocolate orange coffee martini and a Russian sailor. All were made to be aesthetically and olfactory pleasing! The old fashioned was brilliant, a must! Often people forget to spritz with citrus zest to tie in the bouquet but it was all there! The martini was decadent but not overpowering and the Russian sailor was new to me... Really creamy but balanced. I spent over 3 hours there, wasn't rushed, was expertly taken care of, the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The shocker? The bill. I had guesstimated it to be double what I paid. I dine out alone often (especially due to work/commitments) and I find you're normally neglected, it's assumed you'll be a low yield as for purchase and I'd assume tip. It was the opposite in Bar Soba, my service was as great as everyone around me, and even though I was the last person there they never once even instigated me leaving with "would you like the cheque?". I'll definitely be back, new Asian favourite with a killer drinks menu! I really appreciated the service, food, drink and finesse of it all. Seriously, forget the other places in Byres Road, go here even if it's for finger food and a drink.”
“Perfect place to go and have a quick, cheap and tasty meal with friends. Service might not be as good but the food makes up for it”
“I have been wanting to try bibimap for so long and I finally got a chance on Monday. I thought it would be quiet on a cold Monday afternoon but it had a great atmosphere. The decor and music were spot on but the real star of the show was the food! To say it was spectacular is an understatement! The bibimap was amazing, tasty, soft beef with the perfect taste fried egg on top! The roasting hot bowl kept the the rice and contents super hot for the full meal. The Katsu was tasty, and a very generous portion. Perfectly cooked and moreish. The kimchi fries were lovely, but I personally could have done without the cheese on top. Drinks were reasonably priced with the hibiki harmony a real star and only £5 which I still feel was a bargain! If there were 10 stars I'd still want to rate it higher, filling, tasty, not overly expensive and we will absolutely be back!”
“Fabulous food & service today! Some of the best I've ever had at Nando's. Food was out within minutes and super fresh as well. The manager who brought us our food was extremely attentive and very friendly as were all staff.”
“I ordered a buffet from The Big Chef. The owner was very helpful in assisting me with the buffet selection and promptly answered any questions I had, ensuring I wasn’t under or over ordering. The food arrived promptly, hot, and we had happy faces all round! Thanks very much I would recommend for anyone who is looking for a buffet. Very reasonable as well.”

“BEST CHINESE EVER!!I drive from Renfrew to Changs every weekend as they don't deliver to my area which is fair enough as its a bit far away. Also have a sit in restaurant.”
“This place has been a family favourite since my papa was around, and I was a kid. “Roast spring chicken and chips”, that’s the usual. Always quick, made to order and delicious when you get it home. Every time I come home, this is one of the first food stops. No menu online, so here it is.”
“Pre ordered a large selection of food for a family gathering. It was all ready and waiting for us at our agreed time and exactly what we ordered. Everything was very fresh, piping hot and delicious. Could not fault any of it and we all enjoyed it very much. Thank you Happy Season.”
