“Payed a wee visit to here tonight it's been over 10yrs since I was there and I must say the food and service was first class beautiful fresh food served with a smile the portion sizes were amazing we opted for the £16.50 ... 2 course we had bq ribs and mini spring roll they were so tasty no fat on ribs like u get in some places we got chicken chow mein it was amazing thin noodles though but we loved them got chicken breast of curry fried rice once again delicious portion of chips nice and cruncy overall a beautiful meal and lots of it will definitely be back again soon thank you for your great service”

Please introduce this to the Edinburgh venues!!”

“The owners are very approachable and eagre to ensure you are absolutely satisfied with your food. The food is fresh and ingredients on the menu can be changed to suit as can the spicineness. I'm currently working my way through their extensive menu and have enjoyed every meal. I absolutely recommend tuk tuk to family, friends and those with a fondness for authentic Thai and Chinese food.”

We were not expecting to encounter such a quiet and perfect spot near the end of our trip. It was a truly beautiful experience. And the food was seriously delicious with good portions!! So much better than your big food chains. We need to support independent businesses more. Thank you to the man who could make this experience possible!!! “Really nice risotto and pizza. Pistachio meringue needs a rethink it was hard and very dry, but lovely staff, free liqueur at end and my salmon risotto was delicious. Wine nicely chilled. 2 courses and bottle wine for 2 was 60 quid so very reasonable.”

“Brilliant place! I turned up there looking for gluten free food, not realising it was close to closing. The girl said the kitchen was closed, but then proceeded to make me soup and a really nice salad anyway. Brilliant selection of food in the most unlikely place. I got tea and cake as well. They totally saved me, the girl was so kind and friendly, and didn't try to get me to leave even though it was closing time. Would love to spend longer there in future!”

“Had our last dinner in Glasgow here. We found out about the restaurant from a list of highly recommended restaurants in Glasgow and all I can say is wow. It’s a great concept, with a rotating menu. The staff were very friendly and ensured we were well taken care of the entire night. And the food!!! SO GOOD. We made it here for the New Orleans menu and thoroughly enjoyed every course. Only sad part is the upcoming menus look equally as delicious and we won’t be able to try them from Canada!”

“Now the main part of this review is to talk about the salt and chilli chips! Wow! We recently moved to the area and decided to get a takeaway while we were unpacking boxes, but only wanted a small meal so chose the salt and chilli battered chips and some prawn toast. It's like they're laced with drugs they are so moreish, tasty, crispy, with a little bit of a spicy kick, not too hot or I'd not be able to eat them, just enough. The prawn toast was full of flavour too, similar salty flavour with lots of sesame seeds and a sweet chilli dip. We managed to finish the huge portion of chips and the next night we were driving past, it took all our strength and willpower not to go back in for more! Recently we tried the shredded crispy beef with a lovely sweet honey and garlic sauce, and breast of chicken curry. We will definitely be back for more of those chips. Yum! The service is always quick and the person who serves has been polite and friendly each time,but looks clean and inviting. Plenty of choice on the menu too.”

“I have done 2 previous reviews on this takeaway. Thought it was time to upgrade it. This small takeaway never let's you down. Also one of the few remaining places you can actually watch your food being cooked while you wait. The cooks are on the ball. Even the girl who answers the phone to take orders. I have never seen her but she is so polite and is bang on with the phone orders. As is the Chinese girl who also works the phone orders. Only wish these people had a sit down restaurant. It would be amazing. This wee takeaway knocks chinese food from all parts of china out the park. Give it a go you won't be disappointed only minus is they don't do a king prawn in cream cheese sauce. If they did it would be amazing. Plus side their foo yung. Is the best I have had anywhere.on the downside I was very disappointed regarding their Xmas opening hours their website said they were open Xmas day but opening hours could change. I went down at 5pm through some rotten weather only to find them closed I waited another half hour as there was a light on inside so though they might be opening soon but they didn't. I stand by my food review but this was poor customer service.”
