βI highly recommend Kerr Vet for their excellent care and compassionate service. From the welcoming staff to the knowledgeable vets. Every visit has been a positive experience. They take the time to listen, explain treatment options, and ensure the comfort of both pets and owners. The clinic is clean and well-organized, creating a calm environment. Our pet, always has always received top-notch care here. Kerr Vet is a truly professional clinic that Iβm happy to rely on for all our petβs.β
βWe got a Romanian rescue dog and the charity we got her from recommended this vet. Service is amazing all round and their pet plan is great value.β
βReally pleased to have found this vet. We've brought both cats there and they've been wonderful. One cat is super anxious and the vet did all they could to keep them calm during their visit. Really appreciated that they went out of their way to make it less stressful for her.β
βExcelent practice. Great advice on my pugs first visit. Great price. Would recomend all pug owners to go. This is not a vet who has pound signs in his eyes when you walk in. Friendly staff with great knowlege.β
βAmazing service, amazing with poppy, I understand it can be expensive when your dog has skin issues, but coming here for 1 consultation, get a diagnosis and treatment out ways everything βΊοΈ Christian and his assistant were fantastic, I think he fell in love with Poppy β€οΈβ
βBrilliant vet. Jim is so compassionate. Nothing he does, is done for the money. Enjoy your retirement Jim , you have more than earned it.β
βIt was easy to find with lots of parking and plenty of green spaces to walk the dog before going in. The reception staff were very kind and helpful and the waiting area is bright airy and very spacious, there are wee individual pods to sit in so nervous/excitable pets have space. I think cats had their own room. The vet/Dr we saw was very kind and thorough and we were kept informed of our dogs progress throughout. Nobody wants to visit the hospital with their pet but if we had to go again it would be reassuring to know it was the UoGSAH we were returning to.β
βWe have never had a bad experience here. Both of our rescue cats have been well cared for, and the excellent service provided here is much appreciated. 21/09/2023 update - my two cats have diagnosed conditions, and I can't fault the treatment they get from the vets and reception staff here. Everyone is so friendly and understanding, and they are both so well treated when we go. I highly recommend this vets4pets surgery. 16/04/2024 (update) - we continue to get phenomenal treatment at this vet surgery. Joana, in particular, is always very attentive and kind, making the whole process as painless as possible. Both of our cats have medical needs, so we are frequent flyers here. The reception staff are always lovely and knowledgeable and I wouldn't go anywhere else. 28/01/2025 (update) - My two girls, Maggie and Tonks, are regular visitors to this practice. We have been with them since we adopted our formerly feral tortoiseshell 7 years ago. Both kitties have individual medical needs and are regularly reviewed by this brilliant team. From Andrea on reception, to the poor nurses that have navigated Maggie's wriggly nail trims, to the team of vets who always go above and beyond to make sure they're doing the best they can for my kitties. Maggie requires a fair amount of medication for different ailments and this can be complex at times. In particular, Joana, Katie, and Shannon, know them both inside and out. They have all independently researched different treatments that could help and ease symptoms and improve her wellbeing and they are always honest about outcomes. I always receive results as soon as they're available and everyone at this practice has taken time to answer any questions I have had. I appreciate the honesty and respect everyone has given us. Due to Maggie's conditions, she has needed a few emergency appointments and this has never been an issue for anyone on the team. They will link in with other specialists to seek advice without hesitation and are always quick to provide feedback. I cannot thank this team enough. If I haven't mentioned them by name, please know that I have noticed them and they are an equally important part of this incredible team. Overall, the staff are kind, knowledgeable, patient, and interested. On the off chance that they don't know something, they will go away and find out. They're also creative and any challenges they have been presented with (usually Maggie) they have risen to and managed to come up with solutions. I could never thank this practice enough.β
βYou know what, cant ever fault Vets4Pets Airdrie, they have always been nothing but attentive and loving to our dog Jasper. They always fuss over him if it's quiet, the vets are knowledgeable an easy to talk to. They accept insurance with ease, and even off insurance, their prices I'd call reasonable. Very friendly atmosphere overall.β
βWe recently lost our beautiful Springer spaniel and I can't praise Adele and her team enough. In the few weeks before, I often needed my girl to be seen at short notice and/or I needed advice and we were always accomodated. I only transferred to this vet last year and the difference in care and compassion was immense. I would absolutely recommend them and will not forget their care and concern given to us.β
βRegistered my dog at Love Street Practice last year. Hadnβt used the service until this week when my dog was very unwell. I want to say thank you to the vets and reception staff for the high standard of care they provided for my dog they were amazing. They provided the best care my dog and my dog has no fear of going there due to the kindness and love they showed during her time there. I would highly recommend this practice and as an owner feel very grateful to have them I will definitely be continuing to use Love Street Vets for my animals veterinary care.β
βHad to visit as I was caring for my daughter's dog while she was away. Phoned and got an appointment on the same day. Welcoming reception, dog was examined and treated. Full explanation of treatment and what to expect. Would recommend.β
βGreat staff and vets never had any problems Sasha my German shepherd is wary of being there yesterday vet took us in as soon as we arrived to make it less stressful monthly plan is well worth the money highly recommend taking it outβ
βWe've been going here since our dog was just a puppy and it's been around 7 years now - this is a great clinic, and we have never had any issues whatsoever with the practice. Very lovely & friendly staff (at reception and in the examination room), my dog adores coming here and gets very excited when he realizes this is where he's going. The vets are very helpful and informative and are willing to answer any questions I may have. Visits are always quick, easy and completely stress-free. Keep up the fantastic work!β
βFirst visit was amazing! They treated my pup with respect and answered all my questions.β
βMartin is a great host. My cat really enjoys spending time at Beachwood Cattery. He is sometimes even too comfortable for my liking - makes me a bit jealous ;) It is especially important because it took us a while to find a cattery my cat is so comfortable with. Thank you for all your work.β
βBest in the shire Friendly staff and gentle with our dog. so much so that Bruce is excited when he recognises the walkβ
βWe switched to this vet because we were unhappy with our previous and our dog was very unwell. The care we received was thorough and compassionate, all the way until we had to make the decision to say goodbye to our beloved dog. It is more expensive than others but in this case, you get what you pay for and weβre happy that our dog was in the least amount of pain possible when she passed. The only negative I would point out is that when it came to insurance claims, there was a lot of confusion it seemed - doesnβt matter to us anymore though unfortunately.β
βMy crazy dog loves to visit this vet and all the friendly staff.β
βThe admin team are excellent at making sure all the different wee foibles of my pet's care are attended to. Murphy has needed a little bit extra work as we have had to coordinate with an outside consultant for behavioural issues and the admin team have managed the flow of prescriptions very well. Their communication is great.β
βMy 14 year old dog was put to sleep yesterday, we would like to again thank the staff for their support when I called, and to the amazing vet who not only gave us her knowledge but genuinely cared for our sweet girl to ensure she had a peaceful send off. Even as we walked out the room she lovingly was stroking our girl. It really helped on such a difficult day.β
βFabulous vets, all the staff are extremely welcoming and it is evident they truly care about the animals they see. I have a nervous dog who can be difficult to handle, the staff are non judgmental, supportive and treat us with kindness.β
βThank you for looking after this wee stray when he was handed into you end April with a raging ear infection. He's much better and I have adopted him from Edinburgh Cat Protection League!β
βMy daughter went to the My Pet Pals workshop at half-term. Maya and Fearne (apologies if we haven't spelled their names correctly) were great - helping the kids with: feeding the guinea pigs; meeting the hamsters; and feeding the fish too.β
βI would like to say a massive thank you to Frances, who is a veterinary surgeon at Vets for Pets Hamilton. My dog was diagnosed with swelling in his mouth and had to undergo an X-ray to find the root cause. As many of you probably know, our pets are our babies, and when theyβre unwell, we need that extra bit of comfort, empathy, and compassion. At my follow-up appointment, Frances went above and beyond. She made me feel at ease and showed genuine empathy and compassion toward both me and my dog. She is one of the best vets in Scotland, and itβs clear she truly cares about the animals in her care. We need more vets like Francesβshe is outstanding. I would highly recommend herβ
βFriendly staff and looked after our pup who was in for tumour removal. One thing I would say is to have more than one member of staff trained up to do insurance claim responses as there was a bit of a waitβ
βWe take our dog Oscar here regularly for checkups and medication. The staff are fantastic, warm and friendly, and always give Oscar a treat after his visit. He loves them and actually likes going to the vet.β
βStaff were all brilliant when I took my dog in for clipping and grooming. Great advice and have built a great rapport with him. Looking forward to going back!β
βI have been a customer with collier and brock for years, have attended the Troon surgery as well as Irvine surgery My x2 shih tzu dogs are well looked after every time i attend, On Friday Milo was in for his booster and also getting bloods done, the lovely lady vet plus her 2 young trainee nurses were so good, Milo was loving all the attention So thank you for a lovely Friday visit and thank you to all the staffβ
βWe were referred here from our usual vets as our dog needed an echocardiogram. Everyone is so lovely! Our vet was so informative and understanding and she was so wonderful with our wee dog.
