“Lovely micro pub in Silsden, normally 4 different beers plus the usual légers, I haven't had a bad pint yet. Very nice bar staff and à decent choice of gins. You can spend à good hour just checking out the wall décoration.”
“Lovely little bar. Really friendly staff and good prices drinks.”
“Excellent pub over looking Todmorden. Amazing views of the valley. Warm and welcoming. Friendly and attentive staff offering excellent service. Food was delicious and good value. Drinks served super chilled just the way I like it. Excellent outside area in the garden and children’s play area. Highly”
“Great place for a drink and some lovely Thai food, bar staff were really friendly and the waiter in the Thai restaurant was also great. Worth a visit if you’re nearby and need some food. This isn’t your usual ‘next to the stadium pub’”
“My favourite pub of all time, the best pub in Leeds. Gorgeous architecture inside and out, its traditional furnishings are remarkably original. A dynamic array of draught beers and ales that are regularly refreshed over the course of the year. The fact it's framed in my living room says it all.”
“Well, what can I say about this place. Nothing as there are no words that can describe it. No.seriously. :-) The food is outstanding, and the service is second to none from the minute you walk through the door until you leave. I left SA 31 years ago and have struggled to find anywhere that can cook a steak like I get there until now. The photos don't do this place justice. 12/10”
“An AMAZING place. The atmosphere is so chilled and so cool. The bar is small and humble but hey don’t mess about with the Ales; lots of local brews to pass many hours! The cocktail list is extensive, varied with classics and new recipes and are fairly cheap but excellent all across the board. The pizzas are incredible. For the value they are the best pizza in town; all veggie options, you choose 3 toppings then anything else is extra. Fully recommend Hummus on the pizza. Bar Maroc is a place to go on all occasions and energy levels; want an ale? want a night out? Want to simply sit with a brew and read? All is possible at all times and all are welcome. The bar below ‘Small Seeds’ (see photo of ‘The Good Earth Collective’ playing, attached) is brilliantly and wonderfully decorated. Drinks and pizzas available down here from the same owners as upstairs. Great live music venue and great music there after.”
“We enjoyed our meal: large portions: good choice on the menu and excellent, friendly service. The Taylor's Landlord wasn't in good condition and there was a poor choice of Rosé wines, but it would be churlish not to give 5 stars.”
“This place was great. The food was delicious, especially the steak I had! The steak and ale pie my partner had, was one of the best ones I've tried! The atmosphere was calm, it was dog friendly (our girl was offered a doggy roast dinner!) The staff were all so friendly. It has incredible views, and is very spacious. I recommend this place 100%”
“We attended a community BBQ laid on by The White Horse, my local pub. This pub is one of the finest eateries in Yorkshire. Their Sunday lunch is to die for. The young staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Tonight, the pub organised a community BBQ. It was simply brilliant. Children were dancing about with wonderful face paintings. Unlike many country pubs that I have visited, there was a wonderful diversity of patrons, all having a ball! As an Irishman, I am very particular about my Guinness. As someone who has pulled pints of Guinness in Ireland and has been drinking it for 50 years, I can honestly say that a pint of Guinness in The White Horse is as good as many I have experienced in Dublin. This BBQ, tonight, brought people from many backgrounds together with stunning live music. I am so lucky to have such an amazing pub in our village of Church Fenton.”
“I booked a table here for my birthday Breakfast. It was recommended by a close friend. I'm not a big eater so opted for the veggie full breakfast. I thought It was slightly more food than I could manage. But by far one of the tastiest veddie breakfasts I've ever had. I'd go again as a treat.”
“Wow. Lovely midweek lunch of bacon steaks, lovely buttery mash etc all brilliant. Very attentive to my food allergy, great service and lovely surroundings. I can highly recommend and look forward to returning again.”
“Great bar, locals love it. Super friendly. It has a good range of ever-changing cask beers. Late opening. I visited 3 times in 4 nights. (I've no idea about food here, but Google needs a score, hence middle.)”
“Lovely view from balcony at the back, not many places you can sit outside and have a beer with this view !”
“It's the first time I've been but I was welcomed like a regular. Great selection of beer to add to the friendly atmosphere makes it a great place to go. Treats for the dog also added the icing on the cake”
“We met as a work team this afternoon at the Printworks and chose the afternoon tea option for £17.50 a head. We certainly were not disappointed. The selection of food was fantastic and quality as always perfect and such good value for money. Definitely the best afternoon tea in Leeds! Everyone ate until we were full and still got to take a goody box home with us. Luke and his staff are so attentive and make us feel so welcome.”
“Apparently Google would like me to update my review. Can I do six stars? Best bar in Wakefield, only one even close is The George and Crown. Go to either of these places, you will not be disappointed”
“WOW... don't go if you want ordinary. The food from the Bridgetown Canteen team is far from ordinary, it's exceptional. We went for pie night and it's was simply stunning. Can't wait til our next visit to try their other dishes.”
“Went on a family walk nearby and called in for a drink on the back. First time most of us had been but it now definitely won't be the last. Very friendly atmosphere and spot on service. Nice people. Shame we couldn't stay longer... especially for the football on tv. Highly recommend”
“Football was on large TV screens during my Saturday lunchtime visit. A Purity Brewery real ale was available on the bar, which was in perfect condition. I've visited many times and will do so again!”
“We have just eaten our Christmas Dinner delivered to our house for 5 of us and it was absolutely beautiful. The prawn cocktail starter was delicious with lots of prawns and a tasty salad. The main course, we all had Christmas dinner and it could have fed 10 of us. So much meat and beautiful veg and all the trimmings. Desserts were gorgeous. I can't recommend Yorkshire Tapas highly enough. Thank you so much Claire and Billy and Merry Christmas.”
“Just bobbed in hoping for a meal, lucky on a Sunday afternoon for us 2 to be given space to eat. We will book next time, and so very worth while doing so!., gets busy and quickly, for good reason too.. thank you all!!”
“Absolutely delicious food. We ordered baba ghanoush, haftsin special and bakhtiari. The grilled food was cooked to perfection- beautifully seasoned and juicy. The saffron rice was tasty and the nan bread was one of the best that i’ve tasted. This is easily the best middle eastern food i have ever had. I would definitely come again if i drop by in Leeds in the future.”
“I was travelling on business, and after a long day all I wanted was a good meal. Oh my goodness—what a pleasant surprise. The staff were super attentive and genuinely kind. A special shout‑out to **Pheobe**, who did an excellent job serving my order. The food arrived warm, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Exactly what I needed after a long day. Highly recommended!”
“Went here last night to see Rianne Downey, very cosy, very spacious, theres a room specially for the music, the toilets are very clean, then theres a restaurant too, as you can imagine the drinks are very expensive. There's a lot of music and comedy on here!”
“Came here for food after calling in previously. Food was amazing!! Huge portion sizes and brilliant value. We even ordered a sharing platter not realising how huge it would be... but amazing food will deffo be coming back”
“Great place to eat for your lunch break! Make sure to book in advance and pre-order your food if you want to eat during lunch hours. I had the lucky chicken burger, fries and a ginger ale (if you like strong ginger ale, I would give this one a pass). The staff and service were great and the food was lovely. The staff were very helpful and competent when it came to dietary restrictions and allergies. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try any deserts, but the options sounded delicious. I was with a group smaller than 6, so there was no service charge (don't be afraid to tip). Overall, it was a great place to eat at and my meal/drink cost £14.75.”
“First visit for drinks then returned for dinner. The superb range of dishes on the menu made it hard to choose. My partner went for duck breast, while I had chicken in a mushroom and brandy sauce. Both meals were delicious. Drinks were well priced and the staff were first class. Friendly, helpful and efficient. The whole ambience of the place is chilled and relaxed with good music and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.”
“LOVE coming here. Atmosphere is always cosy but vibrant. They constantly do jazz nights and food night. I came today (Monday evening) and it was a bit quieter but it was still a lovely atmosphere. The team are friendly, i just love visiting.”
“An absolute gem of a restaurant! Fantastic location, plenty of seating and a great atmosphere. Food is fab and a great menu to chose from and there is something for everyone! The skewers are so tasty, the tiramisu is to die for and the range and choice of drinks complement each and every dish. Well worth booking so don’t arrive and be disappointed! Staff are super tentative and friendly and made our meal special. Thanks and already looking forward to coming back again soon!”
