“We visit Wagamama regularly and the food never disappoints! The service seemed quite slow at this restaurant, however we had a waitress with long dark hair (didn’t catch her name!) and she was amazing!”

I have horrible memory for names but i believe Ramon made our night unforgettable. Food was really amazing and service was on absolutely top level, all recommendations was delicious. We will come back definately for tacos and cheesecake, they stole our hearts! Wow!”

“Loved it! We did not have a reservation, but luckily there was a table for us (8 pm Friday night). The service was good and they were very quick. The portions were very good and the food was lovely for a great price. We went with the dinner menu which is a very good deal. Would recommend!”

“A family-style Hong Kong-flavoured restaurant with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The menu includes clear photos, so you can easily order just by looking at the pictures. Highly recommend the roast duck and roast pork. We also ordered the crispy noodles with pork ribs — the portion was generous and it was absolutely delicious. The iced lemon tea is also a must-try. If I visit York again, I’ll definitely come back here for dinner.”

“Great Indian restaurant! The food was great: very tasty and spicy and they also have kids meals so you can go with the family! Staff is very nice and helpful, they especially made a typical tea for me although it wasn’t on the menu. Deserts were pre-made and alright and I would have expected more traditional options. But still had a lovely evening!”

“Our first visit after my parents recommended it. We didn't book but we were accommodated straight away and shown to our table. After browsing the menu we chose the two courses for £9.90 . The starter arrived which was delicious followed by a lovely main course. The staff were nice and friendly.”

“Lovely hotel, last visited 6 years ago and still as good as it was the last time. Great vibe and ambiance, my room - a Club - was very large, extremely clean, and comfortable. Nice little touches like four Nespresso pods, fancy tea, nice biscuits and a couple of Ferraro Rochers. Beds incredibly comfortable, couldn’t hear any noise at all, and black out curtains kept out the light! It was my birthday stay and was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for two free cocktails in the hotel bar. The bartender was fab, environment was great - 10/10 all round for the stay and would def come back. Price/performance ratio excellent.”

“We use the Leeds East hotel regularly but our visit this weekend was a really great experience. Young man on reception was very welcoming and professional. A special mention to the lady who put some treats in my daughters room as she heard it was my granddaughters 2nd birthday. What a lovely touch. And finally the lady in the breakfast room who was so lovely with my young granddaughters giving them a chocolate biscuit and a balloon each. This service was really welcomed so thankyou all and apologies I didn’t get names of the people who really made a difference.”

“Haven't stayed in a bedroom here but had a great works Xmas do last Friday. Food was lovely and service was friendly. The DJ additionally played some very good music. Free parking after 18:00 round the corner on Sweet Street which feels safe enough especially as I have an older vehicle. Those who stayed over reported a positive experience with the rooms, the blackout curtains being a godsend on Saturday morning.”

“Good premier inn. Staff are great. Room clean and quiet. Breakfast good. Shame parking is now chargeable, even for disabled customers. Bathroom a bit sweaty sock smelling. The TV reception needs looking at as the BBC channels were not available when I arrived. Used auto tuning option and found them, but the were breaking up and pixilated.”

“Wow where do we start. Our waitress was really nice very helpful. The food was fantastic, we decided to go for the Emporer set menu what a great choice. We had sushi, fried chicken with wassbi mayonnaise black cod, steak, calamari and the deserts were really tasty. Pricey per person but the food and presentation was really good.”

“Had several meals now over last couple of years, always consistently good. Is more Bangladeshi style, although other classics on the menu. Onion bhaji is excellent. Called in this evening, guys are so warm and welcoming. Really lovely, very hospitable and generous. Thanks :) 2 yrs ago - First takeaway since new management, great meal. Lamb melted in mouth, absolutely excellent. Bhuna sauce very tasty. Amazing bhaji and great chaat. Chapattis good too. Definitely the best in local area.”

“Service was very good, food was excellent and reasonably priced. Had a table for 2 on Saturday evening and had a really good time. Its been recently refurbished and they've done a great job of it. There's the bar area upstairs if you only want drinks or the restaurant downstairs if you're dining out, both refurbished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend paying a visit”

“We went it for a pre show meal at the theatre and was so happy with the atmosphere, decor, staff and the food was outstanding. We precooked and were greeted by a lovely staff member and we were quickly seated then moved as there was a light flickering and we had a party member with epilepsy (they were very accommodating) We had a look at the menu and they have a good selection the meals are little more expensive then average but there worth every penny. We ordered and the meals came out quickly, hot and looked amazing. The food was impeccable and we were over the moon with what we ordered and decided to treat ourselves to a dessert and we were very happy with our puds as well. Overall a fantastic experience with amazing food and wonderful staff and can't wait to go back there again and I have already recommended this restaurant too others”

“Delicious meal, and extremely good value. Dropped in on a Sunday, and they do a very good 4-course meal for £11.95 which is a bit of a steal! We started with poppadoms and dips, and we then were able to choose our starters, main and sides. The onion bhajis and tandoori chicken were tasty light. We enjoyed the sizzling king prawn to follow as well as a lamb dish, plus naan and pilau rice. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.”

“Manjaros in Leeds is underrated and deserves more recognition. I’ve been to a few other Manjaros, like Preston, Huddersfield and Bradford, but this one is hands down the best. I’ve been here a bunch of times, and it never fails to impress. I went back yesterday and thought, ‘I’ve never written a review!’ My experience was great. The restaurant is always clean and has a lovely atmosphere. I was greeted and seated super quickly, and there was no awkward waiting around. The menu is huge and has a wide variety of foods, like pastas, parmesan, skewers, rice, and pizza. My personal favourite is the Chicken skewers. They come with spicy rice, home-cut rustic chips, and pitta bread. And the best part? They also come with a delicious spicy house sauce that’s to die for. When the food arrived, it was fresh and piping hot, just like always. I love how the chefs take the time to present their food nicely every time. You can tell they really care about what they cook, and that makes a big difference. The staff were friendly as usual. This won’t be the last time I go to Manjaros, Burley Road. You should definitely check it out if you haven’t already!”

“Photos do not do justice to how good this Katu Curry at Yuzu tasted. Crispy chicken (with meat free alternatives availble) topped with a thick Katu sauce, pickled onions, spring onions and spices, layered on a bed of sticky rice. Cannot complain at any element of the dish, we will be returning!”
