“My child spent 3 years at bright horizons kirkstall and had no issues throughout. The staff were always pleasant, happy and nurturing. Feel very lucky to have found such a great nursery, if you’re reading this considering it as the nursery for your child, I can’t recommend enough. “Been skating with my friends and absolutely loved it and I was recommended by my friends to visit MJ Sports. The staff explained all the different brands and fittings. The person who was looking after me (didn't get his name) was great and help me find entry level skates and will within my budget! I went for the CCM FT860 and they heat moulded my skates and then sharpen the skates for me.”

“What a delightful place for a celebration or even just a drink. The quality of the food is top notch and worth the trip. Staff are friendly and able to make adjustments as required. The bruschetta was strong with garlic and the tomatoes were very fresh and juicy. The chicken was thin and crispy, paired with the delicious spaghetti topped with fresh tomatoes and basil. The meal was finished off with zeppola. This is a crispy choux bun filled with sweet vanilla cream. I was able to get this without the cherries and it was perfect. We will defiantly be back when we come back to Leeds!”

“Such a beautiful and attractive place to relax and spend time. There are nice walking areas, interesting architecture, and even the option for a boat trip with the taxi boats. It was really quiet at this time of the year,not crowded at all,I bet during summer there are a lot of people. I bet during summer there's a good variety of restaurants and bars, so everyone can find something to suit their taste and budget,but now the options were quite limited. The dock offers options for spending time outdoors, and exploring the Royal Armouries museum, which is huge and definitely worth a visit. Unfortunately we couldn't visit because it was closed (Monday only). I saw that there are limited options for shopping,comparing with the city centre. Overall,we really liked it and definitely will come back during summer.”

“Quick and clean street food. My friend had the tofu bahn mee and I had these 5 spice chicken loaded chips with siracha mayo. Plenty going on in the open section of Leeds Market. Proper street food atmosphere”

“I visited this store to purchase a new pair of trainers as I wanted to increase my running distance. I was firstly met by Amy - one of the staff members who was super helpful and spent around an hour helping me try on various pairs of shoes. She put me on the treadmill and did a gait analysis which uncovered a slight imbalance in my feet. This made me very nervous but Amy reassured me that this is common and after a few more try ons found a perfect pair of trainers for me - New Balance 880. I was very sceptical about spending so much money at first but my new trainers have been perfect, and I'm now much more comfortable with running longer distances. The whole experience was friendly, warm, and welcoming and I will definitely be visiting this store again for my next pair of running shoes. “Excellent food and service as always. Been coming here ever since this place from changed from an Indian restaurant Nawaz Kahn to Bab Tooma & we've always loved and enjoyed. My kids enjoy it even more. The lady Kiran was exceptional, very polite & patient. She knows how to deal with kids & I would personally say she's One Good Asset this Establishment has. Over all 10/10.”

“My new favourite place to eat!! The mixed grill is delicious and perfect for sharing, as are the tea pots (mint is my personal favourite). Everything is quite reasonably priced and you never walk away hungry. Service is always great with friendly and attentive staff. Plus, if you've ever seen Tangled, the decor is very reminiscent of the arty painting room in which is just great. Very charming place, definitely visit if you enjoy Middle Eastern cuisine.”

“We went on 5th December before seeing Miss Saigon. It was very festive, all tables were taken and the atmosphere was joyous. The staff were excellent, one of our meals didn’t have enough chicken in it. As soon as we raised this with our waiter he apologised and solved the problem. More chicken was presented to our table in good time as we were all still eating. Very reasonably priced and good food for the centre of town and an excellent service”

“Delicious starters and mains, with a wide variety of drinks. Had a range of Small Plates, including halloumi sticks and garlic and chilli king prawns, plus a range of mains, including the fish and chips. The food was so nice, I forgot to get photos of the main dishes we ate.”

“28.11.25 - I collected the new number plates I had ordered today after someone had kindly pulled them off and left them on the road outside my house. A neighbour had glued them back on for me with "no nails" and they were cracked, so it was difficult for the young men who served me to use these old plates to measure up the new ones (and get the screws in the right place). I said they could glue them on if it was easier but they said no, they would try to screw them on first, as this makes them more secure. The store was really busy, with a constant queue (hence having to swap this job between them), but they remained calm, professional and helpful. I hope these two young men are being paid a decent wage, as they are a credit to Halfords. I will definitely go back to this store if I need help in future.”

“My partner and I fancied a late night Thai takeaway and didn’t expect to find anything open, let alone of decent quality. We were so wrong! The service was fast, the curries were absolutely delicious, and they even kindly threw in an extra rice and prawn crackers. The food was all so fresh and the king prawns are to die for. “This is by far the best Nando's in the whole wide world. If you want an experience, dine in on a Tuesday. We innocently came in for our usual 10 wings with 2 regular sides. We were served by Jack. We enjoyed our heart meal then Jack asked if we'd tried their desserts and the satisfaction in my family's faces told me we should just keep doing this. The warm chocolate pudding sent me to the seventh heaven. If you haven't tried it, try it. If you've tried it before try the one from this Nando's branch. Trust me its an investment with instant returns. From my experience in retail I know it's very hard to keep a smile on ones face and inspite having a really bad day the Nando's staff and Leeds Skelton Lake brightened my day making it THE CENTRE of MENTAL WELLNESS. “Visited yesterday with my young son. Our food was great, incredibly fast service even though it was busy, the staff were friendly and the toilets are immaculate. Best Wetherspoons I've been in I reckon. We even stayed for pudding.... which was lovely too.”
