“I am from Singapore . This is very authentic Chinese restaurant with a diverse menu including vegan options. Food is very tasty and service is excellent. They even provide complimentary tea. I came here alone for lunch and ordered the MLXG (Mala Xiangguo) which was super delicious and reasonably priced. Food portion was generous. I came back with my husband for dinner on the same day and we had beef noodle soup (non spicy) and the fried banana dessert . Huge portion with delicious soup, tender beef cubes and crunchy greens. I highly recommend this place. For vegan, you must try the food here too, the menu looks interesting and food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Will visit again if I come back to York one day.”

“Service was very good, food was excellent and reasonably priced. Had a table for 2 on Saturday evening and had a really good time. Its been recently refurbished and they've done a great job of it. There's the bar area upstairs if you only want drinks or the restaurant downstairs if you're dining out, both refurbished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend paying a visit”

“We went it for a pre show meal at the theatre and was so happy with the atmosphere, decor, staff and the food was outstanding. We precooked and were greeted by a lovely staff member and we were quickly seated then moved as there was a light flickering and we had a party member with epilepsy (they were very accommodating) We had a look at the menu and they have a good selection the meals are little more expensive then average but there worth every penny. We ordered and the meals came out quickly, hot and looked amazing. The food was impeccable and we were over the moon with what we ordered and decided to treat ourselves to a dessert and we were very happy with our puds as well. Overall a fantastic experience with amazing food and wonderful staff and can't wait to go back there again and I have already recommended this restaurant too others”

“Not much to say about this place, it was nicely decorated, clean, the staff were very attentive and the free bread starters are lovely as well as the Turkish tea at the end. All of the food is fresh, hot and delicious. Would certainly recommend this place to anyone.”

“I stayed here for my first ever trip overseas, and this is my first time booking into a hotel. Amazing experience. At this hotel. Originally got there at 9 am and I thought I could check in early. Because my flight came in at 8. And I thought I could check in early. The reception said i can’t check in yet it’s too early but she held my suitcase and kept it safe for me when I went outside and explored Leeds city centre. I came back when I was closer to my time the chicken. I got my suitcase and checked into my room. .It’s a good hotel room nice and spacious. It’s exactly like an apartment you have everything you need like a microwave washing machine dishwasher stuffed top pots and pans etc. and they even give you dishwashing liquid. I know really beautiful of you. the bed was like the most comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. I also did enjoy the croissants and coffee in the morning in the reception. Those very nice not to have to buy breakfast every morning,. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe staying at this hotel. So I recommend coming here. You are very close to the city centre like a 17 minute walk if you don’t want to walk you can also take the bus that’s only a minute walk from the hotel. I’m definitely coming back to this hotel if I come back to Leeds.”

“Just had our first meal at shaju and will certainly eat here again! Food was excellent, very tasty! service was very good and yes it’s small but don’t let that put you off! It was lovely and as a very seasoned Indian meal eating couple, I would definitely recommend you give it a try xxx”

“What can I say about Mumbai kitchen... Well its a hidden Gem!!!! I have been told by friends and family to try this place as they have told me how wonderful the food and the service was... Was the right... From the moment you step into the place you feel the magic... The front house staff are really nice and friendly... Oh yeh not forgetting the lovely simple decor. I tried the fish pokora starter and a couple of chef special main course... With garlic and plain nan... I tried the fried rice and some side dishes..... I must say the food was amazing. I have tried many Indian places up and down the country and I will have to say this is one of the best. The price is very reasonable so I will most definitely come back again and recommend friends and family... Thank you Mumbai team”

“Photos do not do justice to how good this Katu Curry at Yuzu tasted. Crispy chicken (with meat free alternatives availble) topped with a thick Katu sauce, pickled onions, spring onions and spices, layered on a bed of sticky rice. Cannot complain at any element of the dish, we will be returning!”

“HFC has to be my all time favourite for when I’m in need of a good tasty meal. I have tried a number of burgers, chicken & wraps from HFC which is based close to the Thornbury BD3 roundabout yards away from McDonalds. The service was quick and proficient with polite friendly staff and most importantly the food was extremely tasty & at a reasonable cost. Therefore I would highly recommend HFC to anyone that’s looking for a mouthwatering meal to pop down to HFC”

“Delicious meal, and extremely good value. Dropped in on a Sunday, and they do a very good 4-course meal for £11.95 which is a bit of a steal! We started with poppadoms and dips, and we then were able to choose our starters, main and sides. The onion bhajis and tandoori chicken were tasty light. We enjoyed the sizzling king prawn to follow as well as a lamb dish, plus naan and pilau rice. Service was quick and the staff were friendly.”

“I stayed here to see family for a few days, first visit what can I say it was lovely, staff were great made me feel welcome breakfast was very tasty and the girls on breaking were great even the evening staff also the housekeeper I met that day was very pleasant, only downside the car park was full of litter shout out to Karen Caitlin Mandy and the lady on the evening shift forgot her name will definitely be back.”
