“Visited on the 22/09/23 Had the pizza bread with tomorrow for starter which was really tasty and light. Had lasagne for main. Bottle of Prosecco for drinks. Really enjoyed the meal. Very good value for money. Tipped staff. RECOMMENDED. Can’t really comment on the negative reviews. Maybe Groupon customers???”

“Manjaros in Leeds is underrated and deserves more recognition. I’ve been to a few other Manjaros, like Preston, Huddersfield and Bradford, but this one is hands down the best. I’ve been here a bunch of times, and it never fails to impress. I went back yesterday and thought, ‘I’ve never written a review!’ My experience was great. The restaurant is always clean and has a lovely atmosphere. I was greeted and seated super quickly, and there was no awkward waiting around. The menu is huge and has a wide variety of foods, like pastas, parmesan, skewers, rice, and pizza. My personal favourite is the Chicken skewers. They come with spicy rice, home-cut rustic chips, and pitta bread. And the best part? They also come with a delicious spicy house sauce that’s to die for. When the food arrived, it was fresh and piping hot, just like always. I love how the chefs take the time to present their food nicely every time. You can tell they really care about what they cook, and that makes a big difference. The staff were friendly as usual. This won’t be the last time I go to Manjaros, Burley Road. You should definitely check it out if you haven’t already!”

“5 stars is an understatement for this amazing bar and restaurant! I got a hallumi gyro which was the most delicious gyro I had ever eaten. Everyone I was with really enjoyed their meal. We also had 2 rounds of cocktails which were gorgeously presented in lovely glasses with fruit etc. They also tasted lovely. The staff were very friendly and responsive. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant to anyone! When we got there at 5.30 there were some families with children, however past about 6.30 the atmosphere was much more lively which was great!”

“I visit a lot of Sizzling pubs and so far this has been the best. Only visited for the first time on 24th October 2025. From the moment you walked in you could feel the warmth. A great friendly greeting from the landlady's husband and shown to our pre booked table. Ordering was easy. The starters came out fairly quickly and was hot. After a short wait between courses the mains came and they were very hot. Unlike many pubs they hadn't spent ages under a lamp. The gammon and pork chop was cooked perfectly. I would recommend this Sizzling pub to anyone. Thank you to all the staff for a memorable visit”

“Incredibly busy on a friday night, but we were seated really quickly. I got the butter chicken and it was really good! And the family naan bread was ginormous, but perfect for sharing. “A little cautious at first as there weren’t many people in but we were early and it’s Thursday. We were not disappointed. Thursday offer of £40 for a steak dinner and wine for 2 and it was really good. Great cut of steak, cooked perfectly, amazing sauce, chips to die for (crisp doesn’t cover it) and really good wine. Superb music too. If we lived in York we would be here every Thursday. Shannon our server was friendly and welcoming. HIGHLY recommend”

“I had an excellent experience at the Hampton by Hilton in Leeds. The hotel was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable — everything you’d hope for in a city stay. Breakfast was fresh and well-stocked, and the location made it easy to get around. A special mention has to go to Emily on reception, who was absolutely fantastic. She was warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. As we were not from the area we asked her for restaurant recommendations and where to go in the city and she was really helpful. Her professionalism and friendly attitude made the whole stay feel even more enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, and she set the tone for a brilliant visit. Highly recommend this hotel!”

“I reached Leeds in the evening from Manchester. After reading some google reviews I was a bit skeptical about this hotel . I was pleasantly surprised as the check-in and checkout experience was seamless and quick . As I am a Radisson Premium Member I was upgraded to the top floor and the room was superb. Spacious, spotlessly clean and the water in the shower and taps was nice and hot. Some reviews stated otherwise. The aircon I didn’t use as the weather was cold. I did not eat the breakfast hence unable to comment on it.”

“I mean. It's IKEA, not a lot more to say other than it's a dastardly maze designed to entrap you into purchasing all of the lovely shiny objects. And somehow come out with a 4 foot snake that your 2 year old son just "Absolutely had to have". Meatballs are good mind.”

“Held a surprise birthday for my Girlfriend and her family here and I have to say the atmosphere, music, food and drink was exceptional. Great place if you need an exquisite ambience and a good food. “I stayed one night here recently and I wish I stayed more! The hotel is in central location, just beside the train station. The lobby area was nicely decorated and people at the reception were friendly. I learned that rooms here has nice view of the city, so I requested for one at higher floors. The room I got was at the 19th floor and the view from up there is exquisite. You can spend hours sitting on the window bench, looking at the city and landscape far away. The room was very spacious and well decorated. The bathroom was also quite big and with a bathtub. I will definitely go back this place many times.”
