“Amazing service and venue! Just been for a baby shower. They accommodated last minute so well for my friend who had a nightmare with a venue that cancelled on her. Anyways it worked out for the best because the terrace was beautiful space! Super intimate and great on a sunnys day! Service was amazing from Ian who catered so well behind the bar and thank you so much for saving my dress with safety pins!”

“We go bowling here regularly and it's great. It's so convenient to be able to book it online and is about the price I would expect. Takes just a moment to speak to the employees at the counter to check in and get your assigned lane. You fill in your own names, choose handedness, and decide whether or not you want bumpers at the machine in your lane. You can order from the food/drinks menu online as well and they bring you your order without any fuss. I didn't personally feel that the VIP addition was better than the regular bowling and the only difference seemed to be that the divider between you and another group was less transparent. In VIP it felt vaguely cramped, too, so unless you really want your privacy, I wouldn't bother. Everything was clean and convenient. My only real criticism is that upon first walking in it was visually overwhelming (as it opens into an arcade) and not immediately clear where to go.”

“Lovely hotel, last visited 6 years ago and still as good as it was the last time. Great vibe and ambiance, my room - a Club - was very large, extremely clean, and comfortable. Nice little touches like four Nespresso pods, fancy tea, nice biscuits and a couple of Ferraro Rochers. Beds incredibly comfortable, couldn’t hear any noise at all, and black out curtains kept out the light! It was my birthday stay and was pleasantly surprised to receive a voucher for two free cocktails in the hotel bar. The bartender was fab, environment was great - 10/10 all round for the stay and would def come back. Price/performance ratio excellent.”

“Honestly never expected the room to be this good and spotless. Room is neat, cozy, good colour combo, spacious with all the necessities. It felt like brand new room. Location is also good. I give a solid 10/10. And yes breakfast is well worth the money too.”

“We use the Leeds East hotel regularly but our visit this weekend was a really great experience. Young man on reception was very welcoming and professional. A special mention to the lady who put some treats in my daughters room as she heard it was my granddaughters 2nd birthday. What a lovely touch. And finally the lady in the breakfast room who was so lovely with my young granddaughters giving them a chocolate biscuit and a balloon each. This service was really welcomed so thankyou all and apologies I didn’t get names of the people who really made a difference.”

“Haven't stayed in a bedroom here but had a great works Xmas do last Friday. Food was lovely and service was friendly. The DJ additionally played some very good music. Free parking after 18:00 round the corner on Sweet Street which feels safe enough especially as I have an older vehicle. Those who stayed over reported a positive experience with the rooms, the blackout curtains being a godsend on Saturday morning.”

“Good premier inn. Staff are great. Room clean and quiet. Breakfast good. Shame parking is now chargeable, even for disabled customers. Bathroom a bit sweaty sock smelling. The TV reception needs looking at as the BBC channels were not available when I arrived. Used auto tuning option and found them, but the were breaking up and pixilated.”

“Rooms were clean and tidy and the beds were comfy, hotel was quiet and the staff were really approachable and friendly and the breakfast was good. The main reason for feedback is because we didn’t realise (as we were travelling to a different destination and hadn’t unpacked) we had left a teddy our son had had since birth until they rang and asked if we had left something. We offered to collect it on our way back in a few days but they offered to post it out to us, we feel this was going above and beyond as we didn’t expect to even be notified of leaving something. Our son was so happy and we’re so grateful. Thank you!”

“Stayed hear for a night whilst visiting to watch a concert. Arena is right on the doorstep. Restaurant was closed for refurbishment but managed a sneak peek through the door and looks great. Will definitely stay here again”

“This was a brilliant joint to grab a bowl, where the staff were really nice to serve me while I watched the food be made at my orders! The beef with tomatoes, red onions, nachos and more dressings was a total hit, plenty of seating is available here too.”

“Wow where do we start. Our waitress was really nice very helpful. The food was fantastic, we decided to go for the Emporer set menu what a great choice. We had sushi, fried chicken with wassbi mayonnaise black cod, steak, calamari and the deserts were really tasty. Pricey per person but the food and presentation was really good.”

“I had a fantastic experience at Almost Famous in Leeds. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the visually appealing, urban-style decor that created an inviting atmosphere. However, I must say, the service could have been a tad faster. While the staff were friendly and accommodating, the waiting time for the food was a bit more than anticipated. I'd recommend having a bit of patience when you visit, but I assure you, the food is worth the wait. Later in the evening, the music volume increased, which made conversation a little challenging. But if you're a fan of lively atmospheres, this might actually add to your experience. In conclusion, Almost Famous delivers a deliciously memorable culinary experience, albeit with a slightly slow service and loud music. But, if you're up for excellent burgers, tasty fries, and outstanding cocktails, you should certainly give it a try!”

“Service was great and the food super tasty and fast, the Special Mixed Kebab starter was especially good. It is Bring Your Own alcohol but we stayed on softdrinks which were reasonably priced.”

“After getting an amazing take away we visited the restaurant on Sunday where we got a starter, main and naan each for £15. Waiter was really friendly and always making sure everything is fine. Food was beautiful and good portion sizes”

“Had several meals now over last couple of years, always consistently good. Is more Bangladeshi style, although other classics on the menu. Onion bhaji is excellent. Called in this evening, guys are so warm and welcoming. Really lovely, very hospitable and generous. Thanks :) 2 yrs ago - First takeaway since new management, great meal. Lamb melted in mouth, absolutely excellent. Bhuna sauce very tasty. Amazing bhaji and great chaat. Chapattis good too. Definitely the best in local area.”

“I had such a lovely experience at the Indian Tiffin Room in Leeds. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the place itself has such a vibrant, colourful vibe that really reminds you of India. The food was amazing — full of authentic flavours and perfectly cooked. Some dishes were a bit on the spicy side, but that just made it feel even more genuine. The portions were generous too, which was a nice bonus! Overall, it’s a fantastic spot if you’re craving real Indian street food in a lively, cheerful setting. “It isn’t often I give 5 star but this place deserves it! Before you even get chance to walk in the place, staff are already greeting you and asking how we were. The staff were friendly throughout the whole service and were very welcoming/accommodating as I had a young baby. The food was amazing! There is a large selection so there will definitely be something for everyone! On this occasion, we went for one of the set menus which is great value for what you get. The portions were perfect sizes and there was not a long wait time. If I lived in/near York, this place would definitely be a regular stop for me!”
