“These kennels provide a loving , caring and personal service I wouldn’t leave my 2 old terriers anywhere else . 2 weeks was the longest I left them and the dogs returned, happy clean and well cared for . They really put my mind at rest and my anxiety of leaving the dogs to go on holiday has greatly reduced to the point I am looking at another 2 week break which is something I have not been able to do for years! Thanks so much to all the dedicated staff !”

“Went for a free nose to tail check up for our elderly cat. No pushed sales just honest assessment of him. Luckily he came away with a good bill.of health. Advised us on food etc and even trimmed his nails. Excellent service and will definitely be my first port of call if there services are needed again. Well done”

My elderly cat was seen straight away - the receptionist was very compassionate to my obvious distress, and the vet was calm and experienced and able to treat him and clearly explain how to care for him with his medication. He is now starting to get better and I am delighted. Even if there hadn't been such a happy outcome, I feel confident they would have dealt with everything in a gentle manner and done all they could for us. Fabulous vetinary surgery!”

“My review is not about looking after my bearded collie Bubba. That is always fantastic, I sometimes feel he'd rather stay there than come hope to us ! No, my review is about the helpfulness and sensitivity of the staff. I recently returned from Croatia and was quite literally in bagggage reclaim when I got a call to say my father had died that morning. He had lived alone in Chester and I had to go there. Of course we were supposed to pick Bubba up and I knew the kennels were very busy. Nonetheless when I explained the circumstances they could not have been more helpful and sympathetic - Bubba could stay longer. That was enormously helpful and very much appreciated. They were equally accommodating (and equally busy) when they fitted him in when I had to go the funeral. Thank you North Rigton you are marvelous !”

“I take my 1 year old cat to Chantry Vets every 3 months now for weighing and his flea treatment. It is always clean and tidy and the staff couldn't be more helpful and welcoming. My cat seems to like the vet we see (which is more than can be said for other people) and we have seen the same one since he was 14 weeks old. He is very good with him and it amazes me every time that he doesn't hiss or scratch. It is a lovely feeling to know that he is growing and developing as he should and that there are no issues, it gives me peace of mind.”

“This is a new review August 2025 as we now have an 17 month old Cocker Spaniel who has just experienced his boys operation ,enough said poor lad but once again we must say a big thank you to Tim & the staff who do a wonderful job in this small & friendly practice we were reassured & didn’t worry unfortunately one testicle was undescended all went well & our beautiful boy is back to his normal self ! Tim looked after all our Guinea Pigs over 20 years before we progressed to dogs !, we had eye surgery , ovarian treatment … almost anything a little piggy can have we have always been treated with care and compassion when needed especially with the loss of the small animals when I have sobbed terribly all have gone to rest at Tim’s .We then lost our previous Cocker Spaniel at age 2 very sadly due to a blood disorder nothing any Bet could have done to save him but our new boy is now under Tim’s care .Thank you all !”
