“We stopped here on a journey down the M6 instead of using the motorway service area. It's a massive pub that has the normal great Wetherspoons menu with something for everyone. The pub was clean and tidy, and food came quickly, especially when ordering on the app. Everyth was hot and well cooked.”

We regularly go the pictures and it's always rammed so never go in. It's clear why it's always busy, great place to go for a family meal”

“Started the day here for a friend's 50th birthday and watch the rugby. Very clean, comfy place, lots of room and seating. Friendly staff and great range of drinks, even quality whisky, bonus for me and would definitely visit again Did eat here so can't comment on the food”

“This was a superb pub for drinking, with a bright and well styled interior! The pillars and boxed seating in some areas are really nice, counter is well-presented too. Christmas decorations are pretty and toilets were fine, cleanliness as a whole is consistent. I had a tasty Chicken Tikka Masala with rice and seating is comfortable, table was well kept too!”

“Couldn't recommend Fox n Hounds Dogwalking enough. Ste who runs it is fantastic, our dog Buzz absolutely loves him and gets so excited when he arrives. He's very reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, really loves the dogs and all in all does a perfect job.”

“The remarkable atmosphere of the restaurant made my dinner pretty pleasant. I ordered a medium steak. It came out perfectly cooked and melt in my mouth. Attentive and friendly stuff performed an excellent service. The restaurant is situated near the hotel bar so I was listening a live singer while eating. The experience was really good! This restaurant is worth to visit!”

“This is our local restaurant and our favourite, we don’t go anywhere else, all the staff are great, they remember personal details and make you feel welcome all the time. Even when it’s busy you never feel rushed. Sometimes the kitchen can make mistakes with the food when it’s busy but it will be corrected quickly.”

Holly at reception was incredibly kind and understanding — she helped us change the dates of our stay due to illness, which we really appreciated. “11 family members ate there yesterday, in memory of my dad. Service and food outstanding. We all had different meals, xl mixed grill for me. Not a steak eater but was well done perfectly. All meals served at the same time. We keft nothing. Fair price forvit all with Blue Light Discount. Excellent and highly recomnended. We will visit again. Update: Another family meal yesterday 16 of us. Once again service was really quick and the food was excellent. Nothing wasted. Put all tables together to accommodate us all.
