They’re busy nursing yet constantly plagued with requests from elderly patients for tea/water/food (despite these things being in front of patients). One patient had them running round like servants/staff in a 5 star hotel yet they are still pleasant and patient with her - amazing!”

“I was honestly so discouraged by the reviews that I was planning on cancelling my appointment, but I have to tell you I had a completely different experience. The ladies in the reception were lovely, my counsellor was fantastic, I’ve had multiple therapists in the past and for the first time I actually felt heard. Also just from sitting in the waiting room and overhearing the counsellors escorting their patients out the premises, everyone is so kind here. I saw another review saying the ladies in the reception area don’t answer the phone, but I heard them answering, I saw them helping visitors, I’m quite confused by the terrible reviews but I guess everyone has different expectations. I’m really grateful for getting such a lovely counsellor and I would encourage anyone reading this to at least give the centre a go because it might not be as bad as the reviews make it out to be.”

I had a test done and usually it takes some time to do it but the nurse was quick and professional. I had another appointment with another nurse tge same day for different test and the doctor find time to come and see me for a minute ( no appointment) just to confirm what will happen next. I can see the effort the nurses and GP is putting into patients comfort and safety. Thank you very much I really appreciate your help and kindness.”

“The changes from the past couple of years have been life saving! They've added another 2 consultantion rooms, changed the booking system so that you can request an appointment any time during their opening hours. I never have to wait to see a doctor with my son, all requests have been answered to within an hour, I had immense support in every possible way. My son has ASD and ADHD with some other issues and they've supported us incredibly. The doctors are fantastic. They also have a physiotherapist for specialist appointments. Hats off! These changes have made the world of a difference from how it was a couple of years ago!”

Dr Khan takes time to listen patiently and explain in a way that a patient understands their problem without feeling judged and dismissed. We all know that doctors have short appointments (10 mins only per patient) so they are very busy throughout the day and they are doing their best to see all patients on time, and like any other human beings they get tired. But when you get a kind and sympathetic doctor like Shazia Khan, at the end of consultation it feels like your problem has been solved rather than feeling guilty for calling the doctor. The reception and admin staff are very helpful as well.”
