“The best Pets at Home we’ve been to - have been so helpful during the process of settling in our Chi pup. The staff are so knowledgable and really do go the extra mile, they always remind me to check Pets Club vouchers etc and have even saved me a few times when I almost accidentally bought adult dog food instead of puppy food. I haven’t tried the grooming service however so can’t comment on it.”

“Our beloved cat Molly sadly passed away last week leaving a gaping hole in our lives. I turned to pets at home vets to arrange the cremation. They were absolutely amazing and sensitive towards me. “A great vet practice. Always a welcoming bunch on arrival, and every vet seen to date, seems to really put the pet first. It’s easy to book appointments, and if ever I’ve had to change appointments, they’re always happy to assist. I just wished my GP treated me the same way. Lol”

“Has most of the items you would need for various pets. I have a ball python and the staff an knowledgeable about them and have the frozen rats i need for food. Staff all seem like genuine pet lovers/animal lovers which goes a long way in these kind of stores. Shoped here for many years for dog/snake/guinea pigs. Always helpfull.”

“Bought 6 ember tetras here about a month ago. Despite it being nearly closing time, the staff were ever so helpful and friendly. They also showed genuine care for the fishes - they ensured that I had a fully matured fish tank of reasonable size and setting. They also gave me recommendations on where I could get good Indian Almond Leaves to manage the pH. I also saw them reject an inexperienced customer who wanted to keep fishes in a fish bowl (the fish will likely suffer), and for that, I highly respect them. The ember tetras are doing well - sorry for the algae-stained glass in the very bad picture!”

“I don’t usually write reviews but this world is always full of negativity and I wanted to say something positive. I’ve taken my 2 Doxiepoo’s to Pet-a-pawter for around 6 months now, regularly (every 6 weeks) I’d had a bad experience one day with the groom room so I contacted them by chance, explained my difficulty and my situation, they fitted me in the next morning at a squeeze. This wasn’t because they weren’t inundated, but because the ladies working here are genuine and caring. Every experience since has been great. I confused my dates for one appointment and the communication I received after missing the appointment was kind and considerate. My girls are always happy for the rest of the day after leaving there. The young gentleman that helped me was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding the fish that I purchased and made the whole experience a very positive one. “few weeks ago, I visited Pets at Home in Chingford with my daughter to purchase her first goldfish. At the till, we asked for some assistance and were told someone would be called. After waiting a while and asking again, the colleague kindly radioed a second time, but we were still waiting. I then decided to look for help myself and came across a staff member named Amy, who was putting stock out. The moment I asked, she immediately stopped what she was doing and offered to help us without hesitation. From start to finish, Amy was absolutely fantastic – she was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. It’s rare nowadays to come across someone who truly takes pride in their work, but Amy is one of those people. She is a real credit to the Chingford branch and to Pets at Home as a company. I really hope she is recognised and celebrated for her outstanding work ethic and customer care. Since that visit, every time we return, we make sure to see Amy – she has been phenomenal each time.”

“VPS are fantastic, not only are all of the staff super friendly, they are incredibly reliable and truly care about the animals they look after. I have only started using VPS recently but wish I used them sooner! My dog loves going on her walks with them, I highly recommend.”
