“Great experience from start to finish! Met helpful and friendly promoters on the street who gave us different deals and offers which saved us money! Door staff were pleasant (as far as door security are at other places). As soon as you walk in there’s a chilled lounge space before the main club opens downstairs so can have a few drinks before my 2 steps come out to play! Music and bar staff were an absolute vibe! Banter and jokes with them unreal! Got a decent deal on a table! Got outside into the garden area and was such a vibe! With another DJ and bar! Can’t recommend it enough! Planning on having events here!”

“I had mixed feelings about coming to the restaurant as the reviews wasn't great. I was so pleasantly surprised. On entering we were welcomed with the lovely host, who was friendly and showed us to our table. She explained the menu to us. There were 16 of us so i was worried about the quality of the food. No need!! The food was hot, fresh and delicious! I can't rate this place enough. When I didn't know what a dish was, the host came over and explained perfectly. She was lovely. We tried things that we wouldn't usually, and every single thing we had was cooked beautifully. I will definitely be back. Friendly, fun, and above all tasty! Thank you to the wonderful staff and amazing chef!”

“I used to go to the basement under protest 20 odd years ago. Was never a fan at all, would prefer the other end of Chelmsford. Ended up in here with friends at Christmas (easily led after a few beers) and was really impressed. It's undergone a lot of changes, which made the whole experience so much better. Would gladly come back on another night out.”

“I didn't know quite what to expect when I went there for a Red Letter Day 3 course meal with free flowing prosecco. I certainly was not disappointed! From the moment we entered, the staff were exceptional. They were all incredibly polite and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the portions were decent. As for the free-flowing prosecco, I honestly thought that there would be a catch, but they were incredibly generous with it! The restaurant was lovely inside, and once it filled up with some customers, there was a great atmosphere. The service was exceptional, and Amandeep in particular was incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend a visit!”

“Sajol provided excellent service during my recent visit to The Globe. He was friendly and attentive and had great knowledge about the menu and provided great recommendations for both food and drinks. The food was exceptional, with each dish being perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, making for a great dining experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant and Sajol to anyone looking for a delicious meal and great service.”

“Stopped in here last minute for some lunch. No regrets I love a good Mexican feed. They weren't too busy for a Saturday arvo around 2pm. Seats available inside and out. We were seated promptly and order was taken quickly. We had a few delights. The food was super tasty and authentic. Good portion size and will happily return to sample more of the dishes here.”

“I've read so many bad reviews on here about this place. There is a lot of scaffolding but it looks like they're doing the place up. Once inside it makes no difference. The room was big and the mattress was brand new. It was warm in the night but on second night had the window open in the bedroom and bathroom and was a nice breeze through. I paid £40 a night. The staff were lovely, polite and kind. The place is old but nice! I loved it here. So close to the station as I didn't drive. Right on the Thames which was a lovely little walk. Overall epic stay.”

“It was my first time here. It was amazing, to say the least. I'd heard of this place for some time but just never had the time, or it was down to distance. Anyway, I eventually disregarded the distance and visited. It was worth it. I really like the interior decor. Upon entry, we started to ask the lady who met with us about parking, and she said in an almost rude and sarcastic tone and head movement, "we don't own the street." I didn't think you owned the street. Well, I just thought you'd be nice enough to recommend where to park safely without incurring a parking ticket. The way I responded to her nicely made her calm down, and she became a nice, chatty, and friendly version till we left. I'm not sure what was going on with her before we came in, though, but we can not all be mad at the same time, so I decided to be calm...this time. Lol The cocktail was lovely, and the food was exquisite. It really made me forget the long drive down there. Lol. I love the afrobeats playing in the background. I feel like there's something for everyone on the menu. I was quite disappointed that even though we arrived less than an hour after they opened, they didn't have curry goat. That the previous day's customers finished it all was a lame excuse, to be honest. The only other downside was that my baby back lamb tasted like pork, and I really felt like throwing up. Even the fat on it looked too excessive to be from lamb, but I was assured it wasn't pork. Other than that, it was cooked to perfection. I'm looking forward to my next visit.”

“A great place for a quick eat. The Chinese dishes are light and tasty. Portions feel a little small (3 dim sum per dish) but the price is fair. Service is great, the restaurant is clean and the service is friendly. Very convenient for Oxford Street/Selfridges.”

“First time visiting. I had a great time. Went for a friends birthday and the vibes was good. Restaurant was packed and I believe they were hosting a birthday downstairs also. Ordered food and drink from their QR code which was easy. Food took a while to come but this was to be expected given the amount of people there. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. Food was nice and tasty. Along with my main meal, I also ordered asun and suya..good sized portions for the table, just enough spice as well. Will definitely be coming back”

“Hands down the best after hours venue in Windsor. Music is awesome every time, bar staff and bouncers welcoming and professional. Atmosphere has everything you could want in a venue with a nice balance if you are there to dance an let your hair down or chill at the back on the slot machines an console (nice touch with the ps5). Honestly, you can't go wrong and never had an issue. Respect to all the hard work they put in each night keeping this place alive!”

“great hotel , value for money (£72 for one now inc parking was perfect) for what we wanted, 10 min walk to the tube station...2 stops to Gunnersbury park so was idea. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Had a luggage room we could leave our bags and checked in after the event (11pm) Room was clean, had tea and coffee, quiet and had a ceiling fan to keep us cool which was perfect as was warm. The only negative is that the breakfast was too early (finished 8.45am) but we would stay here again.”
