“Staff are all young but good, keep the place clean and organised. I wouldn't recommend for under 8 or 9 as there is a whole age range so older kids can be a bit more boisterous but kids LOVE this place and it's great for parties or a rainy day! Good value for money. There's a main inflatables section and separate nerf fun part, which is brilliant fun! Adults can sit and get a hot drink whilst waiting for their kid's session to finish. Easy to get to, car park nearby and places to eat if you want to grab something afterwards. Highly recommended!”
“Great local amenity with a 33.3 meter indoor pool (for those with confused fitness trackers) a smaller outdoor pool and teaching pool for kids, it is now kept clean and well maintained considering it is a public pool. The swimming changing facilities have been upgraded, and they offer great showers in a clean area. While the gym is a bit tired, there are plans for renovations and upgrades. The reception staff are friendly and have a great sense of humour, especially considering some of the flak they get from a handful of grumpy visitors. Parking is pricey, so public transport is the best way to go. Simple booking system, so book in advance or phone if you want to be sure to get a swim. Limited spaces which makes it much easier for lane swimming. 250 capacity for swim and stay sessions in outdoor pool, so check weather and book on sunny day.”
“My recent stay at the Ramada London North M1 was genuinely superb. Everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the exceptional kindness of the staff. It is, without doubt, one of the finest hotels I have visited in London. The atmosphere was calm, the facilities were well maintained, and every interaction with the team was warm and courteous. My sincere greetings and thanks go out to all the staff for their outstanding hospitality. Although the immediate area is quiet, transport links are excellent. A short bus ride will take you directly to Edgware Centre, where you can enjoy a selection of restaurants, cafés and shops, as well as access the Underground for an easy journey into Central London. Overall, my stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service.”
“Fantastic Swimming Pool. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The front desk is so welcoming to customers. Lifeguards are always on hand to help and make all the customers feel welcome.”
“Fulham (public) Pools has a separate entrance to the (private) Virgin Active Health Club, although both are operated by Virgin. This leisure centre has a 25m eight lane gala swimming pool, a children's teaching swimming pool, three adult and two children's all weather tennis courts, and a public gym. The swim school staff are great, especially Joanna who was an absolute pleasure to deal with when arranging swim lessons. Her communication, knowledge and her interaction with the kids for the assessments were superb. There's a separate smaller pool for lessons for the younger children and viewing areas for both pools. The change rooms and lockers are fine but be extremely cautious with belongings. Staff at reception are not vigilant and far too lax with people entering. I saw a guy allowed entry to use the toilets and he left with a bottle of wine under his arm. Nothing staff could do apparently.. remember to bring 20p for the lockers!”
“The staff are really friendly, and the place is really clean. I don't get why some people complain that it's not spotless 24/7, but keep in mind that not all members there have common sense to clean up after themselves, then times that by loads of other members that do the same, and the cleaners won't be able to keep up obviously. If the members were more respectful and not acting like children, then yes, the place would be always be spotless. Their website is a bit outdated and needs a big update, but that's not to blame on the staff behind the desk, probability to do with the council... So far this is the best gym I've been to, even if they have less equipments than places like Pure Gym or The Gym, it's way less crowded than there and the machines are quality too.”
“Stella’s baby swimming classes are amazing! My wife was scared to take the baby so I joined for the first class and we were both quickly reassured by Stella’s professionalism, gentle pacing for the babies and calm presence. My wife says she comes back from the classes feeling more relaxed and my baby is learning life long essential skills with water. Thank you Stella!”
“The rooms were very comfortable and the staff was very cordial and accommodating. Food was always fresh and delicious and the variety offered was very good. I had my exams while I was quarantining here, such a great experience for exam revision and then attempting exams themselves. I will always come back here because the staff, Johnny in particular and all the rest of the staff, made me feel at home!”
“Swim weekly at this pool. Since being taken over by Better in January 2024, the staff, upkeep and management of the pool has really improved. There are more times to swim, the pool is a good temperature, and the facilities during the day are very clean and tidy. Changing rooms recently repainted and repairs always taking place, which is very different to previous management by Fusion. The staff are friendly and reliable, and there’s a community of regulars. It’s an old pool but very welcoming and suits me perfectly. My child also has swimming lessons here and it’s a delight seeing her progress from a splashy mess to a decent back-crawl in nine months - the changing room is dirtier during evening lessons but that’s because parents/carers and children leave their shoes on.”
“Nice but thought u could swim in it so bought trunks - u can’t ☹️”
“Claire is an excellent swim teacher and our son has shown consistent improvement in confidence, attentiveness and ability over the last 8 weeks. She always lets children take the lead on their own development. She makes the basics fun and engaging and is also caring and accepting on those “off days” that 2/3/4 year olds have. Thank you Claire and Angel Swim for a fantastic experience thus far!”
“My 10 year old son had a fantastic birthday party here today. It was our first visit and I was really impressed with the concept. All members of the party were totally immersed in the experience throughout the 90 minutes and thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you to the two Emmas who were great hosts.”
“Field's Car Centre was recommended to me by a friend. a) On my first visit they conducted an MOT. b) On a subsequent occasion they resolved an electric window problem which would only return halfway up. I have been pleased with both the work done and also the cost. I will use them again in future.”

“Tils Barber Shop is fantastic! The staff there are so friendly and welcoming, and the fact that they offer sweets and drinks while you wait is such a nice touch. It really adds to the overall experience. Not to mention, their barbers are skilled and give amazing haircuts. The prices are very fair and the extra touches such as face masks are immaculate.I definitely give them a solid five stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“I have being sending Barney to Halo Dogs for around 2 years, and trust me when I say if Barney didn't like it he wouldn't go. The team at HALO are amazing and look after Barney as though he was their own, when Barney comes back from Day School I can just tell he has had a fun actioned packed fun day. I am also really appreciative of the pick up and drop off service from my home or my work place, the ease of the booking system and the the general organisation of how Halo Dogs runs. Barney and I highly recommend Halo, while you dog is living their best life, you can rest assure that your dog will be in very safe and caring hands.”
“A1Pro and Alfie were fantastic for our recent wedding. Easy to deal with, straightforward pricing and good communication meant I knew I was in good hands. Faultless in every aspect. We hired a full PA system with lighting kit. Thank you!”
“My sons love going to Dolphin swimming classes each week. The teachers are all really great with them and the soft play facilities are great as an added bonus. The flexible make up lessons really help for illnesses and holidays.”
“The team at Penguins Palace Swimming Company has been absolutely fantastic and very professional. My son's swimming instructor, Aaron, has been exceptional with him. My son attends a group session and I have not been disappointed in any way. The level of attention given to each child, including my son, is outstanding. Aaron ensures that every child receives the necessary attention and focuses on their individual areas of improvement. We are constantly updated and involved through WhatsApp, which I find incredible. Honestly, I have tried other local swimming pools that offer lessons and I was not impressed and saw no progress. However, since my son started here, I have seen a remarkable 100 percent improvement. He can now swim and is no longer afraid of the water, which was our main goal. The environment is very enjoyable and my son is always excited to attend his swimming lessons because of the caring and friendly atmosphere that Penguins Palace provides. Every penny I spend has been well worth it.”
“We have had our children at Minnows for 6 years and to see them progress to fantastic swimmers has been great. Justine and the team do a great job in encouraging them, whilst also challenging them to be the best swimmers they can be. We cannot recommend Justine and the team highly enough.”
“I listed my house with Quintessentially Estates and from start to finish the whole process was smooth and simple. The team sorted everything out for me, from taking the initial photos right through to dealing with the multiple offers received. I was kept up to date throughout the whole process and within a week my house was rented. Would highly recommend.”
“I cannot praise this swimming school highly enough! I’ve been using them for both my children. My eldest is very close to finishing her lessons hopefully and she started off as a non swimmer and she is now a confident swimmer who enjoys coming to every lesson. My youngest has just started off and is loving every minute of her sessions. The instructors are professional and cater to each individual needs. My kids love all the instructors and Claire is very quick at responding to any queries or questions parents have. When my partner broke his foot and couldn’t drive my eldest to her lessons - I told Claire about it and she went above and beyond to get my daughter into a different session time in order for her to not miss one lesson. I will definitely be recommending seriously swimming to anyone looking for a swim school. Thanks so much!!”
“I cannot sing their praises more. The instructors are great. My son has made such progress in only a few months, it's amazing. He started his beginners class in march. They make the lessons fun, engaging and go at the pace of the children. Small classes so each child gets the instructors time. Would highly recommend.”

“We are over the moon. A little nervous as first time dog owner taking our precious Bella to the groomer and not sure how she would react, we were pleasantly surprised to see Bella run into the groomers super excited and happy to stay. The staff were lovely, relaxed and professionally and we can't recommend them enough. It's a safe, secure and loving environment and we've already used them twice and will do so in the future. Thank you Team K9!”
“We really love the team at Seriously FUN Swimming. Our boys have such fun at their Sunday morning lessons and have become confident swimmers. Each instructor at every level is expertly suited to guide the kids through their lessons and milestones. The structure that is in place is best in class and we're thrilled with the progression both of our boys are showing whilst keeping the fun element for them. Highly recommend Seriously FUN Swimming!”
“Bushy Park is one of those places that feels both vast and welcoming at the same time. The sheer size of the park makes it perfect for long, leisurely walks, cycling, or simply finding a quiet corner to sit and enjoy nature. Families often spread out picnic blankets under the wide-open skies, and it’s easy to see why—it’s peaceful, spacious, and filled with plenty of scenic spots to relax. There are deer roaming freely, which adds to the charm, and the open grasslands make it a natural playground for kids to run around. Beyond the open space, Bushy Park has a real family-friendly feel. There are designated kids’ play areas, making it a great spot for little ones to burn off energy, while fishing in certain ponds attracts hobbyists looking for a calm afternoon by the water. Food is available at nearby cafés, so you don’t have to worry if you forget the picnic basket. Altogether, it’s the kind of place where you can easily spend the whole day—whether you’re exploring, relaxing, or just soaking up the calm atmosphere with family and friends.”
“Greenwich Park is one of London’s oldest royal parks, offering stunning views of the city skyline and the River Thames. It features beautiful gardens, ancient trees, and the famous Royal Observatory, home to the Prime Meridian line. Visitors can enjoy peaceful walking paths, picnic areas, and wildlife spotting. The park also hosts events and provides a perfect spot for relaxation, exercise, and learning about Britain’s rich history in astronomy and navigation. It’s a must-see green oasis in the heart of historic Greenwich.”
“I feel so fortunate to live near such a beautiful place and its amazing to have such a large slice of nature with deer roaming around withing London. Equally beautiful in every season and perfect place for dog walking. Also seems to be better managed in recent years with upgraded cafes, improved signs and traffic control measures.”
