“Just wanted to share how fabulous Yomi (sorry if that's spelled incorrectly!) in the Bury store is. I've been in a few times and she seems to be on shift when I go in. I wear a larger shoe size so finding footwear at reasonable prices in a preferred style can be somewhat difficult. In my last visit, Yomi went above and beyond, found every shoe in my size for me to try as well as helped locate another pair of boots in another store. Yomi is super friendly and genuine and deserves recognition! Thank you!”

“My major birthday for 2024 is coming up soon. My sister suggested about new walking shoes, as I have lost so much weight doing this exercise over the years. And she suggested Clarks in Chorley. I thought about Amazon. But my sister suggested Chorley store as ease of trying on. This store had several walking footwear on show. I selected three shoes of their range to examine. And asked for these in my size. The few ones I had selected, had in common of good grip soles with deep tread, lightweight, comfortable, and didn't rub my feet, and free around my ankle to avoid rubbing there. The staff are both pleasant and knowledgeable about their stock. One set of boots is 50% off. I tried the three boots, each in turn, and went with the best set for me. The staff are lovely and polite. The range they have is competitive to Middlebrook store of Clarks. If you only try these shoes inside your home, you could return these within two weeks of buying them if your not pleased with your purchase. My previous trainer / walking boot cross I bought from this store had allowed me to walk over 3 million steps over 19 months of daily walking journeys in them. According to my pedometer. But they are now very worn. The sales at this time (October 2025) weren't running. But i bought my new pair for £130. They also feature what attracted me to my first walking footwear i bought previously. These new ones also have great deep tread, and are light weight, give great support to my feet and are comfortable to wear. They also don't rub my heals. And have gortex technology. I very much rate Clarks for these type of walking trainer / boot cross for all around comfort and usefully designed for enthusiastic daily health walkers. My first trip walking in these new boots proved to be very good. In fact I am 100% satisfied with my purchase of these. trainer / walking boot cross. I bought from the store a spray cleaner and water repellent that they suggested for £8. I was dismissive at first. But once a day for a few weeks has seen my boots get increasingly shiny black and attractive and with a better water repellent nature. It's good and worth a try!”

“Today I have been to river island, the kids section .I have been assisted by Shaun who was absolutely fabulous, he was fast efficient and really helped me to find the specific item I looked for my daughters.He was kind , and very dedicated to his job , being very polite all time even if my toddler was not at her best behaviour. He was tidying , serving, rushing to the cashier and with a lovely smile on his face. This is the kind of employee you want to have in your team. Also he went extra mile for me as my toddler throw away her shampoo toy with stitch design, and I was happily impressed when I come back couple of hours later to the store he recognised me and said ‘Let me guess you come for the stitch toy ☺️’. “I cannot express how high the service was that myself and friend found yesterday. We were looking for a specific heel and colour shoe for a wedding outfit and every one of the staff couldn't of been more helpful. They went above and beyond! Within minutes of finding a perfect shoe and matching bag to unfortunately not having her size to next minute having an alternative style and her size in minutes. The mgr/assistant mgr asked to see the dress and then she was off round the store! Another assistant was in the back looking for anymore styles for my friend. Honestly well done to all the staff on Thursday 30/03/17 at the Bolton market place New Look. You made a lady smile and we both felt like you all were our personal shoppers! You were amazing!
