“The best grooming shop I have ever visited, staff were kind, caring very helpful and supportive. My dog is very big and hates getting groomed after being refused from almost every grooming shop I was left feeling very frustrated an was advised to get the vet to sedate her to clip her very over grown and sore nails. I finally found snuggles and they were willing to help I traveled from Northampton to Milton Keynes … when I say they went above and beyond to help my dog I feel this would be an understatement!!!! Absolutely fabulous job in taking care of us and we have booked again. I’m so grateful I would highly recommend ❤️ many thanks to the team”

“I have been going here for nearly 2 years with my cat who sadly passed away recently , my cat suffered badly with FIC and I cannot fault the vets in there , Emma and Jane are honestly the best! And all the other ladies I visited with fudgee , Over the years of using multiple vets I can honestly say the ladies in there really go above and beyond for animals and are so helpful , even after my little man passed they've still been so great and understanding. Sadly it is really expensive and I was looking elsewhere just because I couldn't afford it with a cat with on going problems which was a shame because they were the best I've been to yet , I've always managed to get appointments same day which is fab. Honestly can't fault them , they even last minute got a gorgeous paw print printed for me with a lovely card because the crematorium wouldn't be able to , super special , Thank you everyone at AstonLee.!”

“The best place to socialise your puppies!! I’ve been here a few times now for the puppy socials and it’s been great for my pup… getting to meet other ones off lead and has been so good for building her confidence with other dogs and making other puppy friends!! Definitely recommend ☺️”

“Our 2 buns have stayed with Lesley a few times, they have a very comfortable stay. They are extremely well looked after, with lots of space to explore and they eat very well. Lesley is really lovely and has a great knowledge of rabbits. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely superb B&B in historic building located in peaceful country location but within easy reach of Milton Keynes/Hanslope/Northampton etc. Decoration, comfort and breakfast all top class with very friendly hosts (Ed & Laura). Highly recommended.”

“Our dog Bernard stayed two nights at Hunters Lodge and we could not have asked for a better experience. Bernard is a rescue so we were quite nervous about leaving him however any anxiety we had was quickly put at ease thanks to the staff at Hunters Lodge who kept us updated. Bernard stayed in the VIP kennel where he was able to have his own home comforts (plus a TV!). We would highly recommend Hunters Lodge to anyone and would not hesitate in booking him in again.”

“I have always been given very good service at the practice and wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. The vets and nurses are very friendly and efficient and they always explain everything to me. I would recommend Willows to anyone who wants a good place to take their animals for treatment.”

“Had a lovely meal tonight at The Coaching Inn, ordered the fish and chips and the massaman curry! Food was incredible - the curry was the best curry we’ve had in a while! Chris - the manager - was very helpful and attentive and kind! Can not recommend enough!!!!”

“Went today to try and find out some information on how to look after fish as me and my partner are planning on getting some fish as first pets. Member of staff (didn’t get his name) was really helpful and answered all our questions and was giving us some advice on what to do best with looking after them. It was really nice that it didn’t feel like he was pressuring us to buy things but more just giving advice, it made it such a better experience. I was worried due to us looking young that he wouldn’t take us seriously but his level of professionalism and his knowledge was brilliant, really wish I got his name. Going tomorrow to go and get our fish!! If he is there tomorrow I will make sure to name him as he was brilliant”

“We had our wedding at Chicheley Hall on the 23rd of August and from start to finish it was absolutely perfect. Tamarin and Jenni were truly brilliant coordinators – nothing was ever too much trouble, and they made the whole planning process feel smooth and stress-free. Their support on the day itself was second to none. The food was beyond incredible. The chef exceeded every expectation, and we’ve had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding meal they’ve ever had. Breakfast the following morning was even reset with our centrepieces, which was such a thoughtful and beautiful touch. The service from the entire team was outstanding. The waiters, waitresses, and bar staff were faultless – the speed of service was better than we could have hoped for, and the bar staff even remembered everyone’s drink orders, which made the whole experience feel so personal. The rooms themselves were spectacular, and we loved being able to choose which of our guests stayed in the main hall with us – it gave the evening such a warm, sleepover-like feel, and it was wonderful to have a girly debrief in bed the next morning. All in all, our day was everything we dreamed of and more. We’ve even been told by guests (and even people who didn’t attend!) that it was the best wedding they’ve ever heard of. Thank you, Chicheley, for giving us the most unforgettable day.”

“My wife Linda and I have stayed many times at the Swan and always found it a pleasure. Linda is waiting for a hip operation and finds it very difficult to get comfortable in bed. Consequently she often has to sleep in a chair. We stayed two nights recently and when we mentioned this to the housekeping staff they went out of their way to help, They brought other chairs from elsewhere in the hotel, provided an extra duvet and suggested ways of making Linda comfortable. Thank you very much to them all.”

“Yes it's dated, and the rooms are overdue a refurb. But the staff are friendly, it's quiet, and (for what I paid) extremely great value. Breakfast was actually really good, and the food on offer in the bar was significantly better than expected - and fairly priced. They keep apologising about the long term roadworks outside which means it's a bit more complicated to access, but they really don't cause a problem. Parking is free as long as you put your reg in the terminal - but there are 8 foot high banners at each entry door reminding you to do this! I would definitely stay again for work.”

“I stayed at Woody on the beautiful, historic Eakley Manor Farm in May 2024. The room was well appointed, comfortable and immaculate. The countryside location is the ideal place to relax, and explore the area. I had a brief chat with the hosts during my stay, and they were very friendly and helpful. I will be working in the area soon and will definitely book in here, its a perfect place to stay.”

“It was clean and quiet. Rooms were quite small but had everything you needed and really all you want is somewhere to sleep. The evening reception staff were friendly and helpful. The morning staff were friendly. The location is good if it's in the area you want to stay.”

“For 3 stars hotel (which I am not so good expert for, to be honest) the size of suit is huge. Also it’s quite modern building everything is working, so good to stay. Tv is good, shower is perfectly working. But the most important, the location is perfect, right next to Aston Martin heritage, beautiful park, bus stop. A few nice restaurants and great shops just around the corner.Literally 15 min by bus it takes to reach the central railway station and in a quarter an hour you can be in a central MK mall, theatre, Campbell park if you Prefer modern area. But Newport Pagnell is beautiful historical town by itself, has a great own English vibe. So quiet and comfortable for holidays. I’ve you don’t want to stay in Victorian building with ghosts and want to visit Newport Pagnell this is perfectly designed for you hotel. You can enjoy a huge window and nice view (depending in a floor) and still imagining some ghosts while you looking in ;-). There or a great air panoramas and amazing atmosphere of English old town. There is a spacious lobby area with fukra black Armchairs in a modern style and zero fakes like a neo baroque trying pretend to be antique which is great and also a huge parking by hotel.”

“Wow! Boots not my first choice previously but just having used their services as an emergency, it was faultless! Two totally professionally ladies behind the counter, genuine concern & want to assist. Could not speak highly enough about them. Went over and above duty to help when original chemist had an urgent prescription passed to them from our Doctors, then closed its doors without notice due to staffing problems it stated. (not first time!) Pharmacist was inside but refused to serve even the urgent cases and old people waiting outside having already been told to return from earlier. Our prescription was already downloaded by them leaving Boots ladies in a very difficult position to repeat the required needs. Fast action taken, direct call to our doctors, a call at home within 15 mins to say sorted and ready to collect. Returned, on the spot service given. Companies are made by their staff not the name over the door,. Boot is not always number one for many people but with great ladies like this they would be the Go To! Thank you very much indeed!”
