“We were here for a wedding. The space was beautifully decorated. It looked gorgeous and rustic, perfect for photos. As vegans we felt pleasantly surprised by the amount of choices available to us. The starters and dessert in particular were nice. Service was great, everyone was attentive and helpful. The musician, Paul Tabor, that was playing was incredible. Overall we’d highly recommend it.”

“Visited here on a busy Saturday evening, I didn’t have to wait long for a table and the service was brilliant. Food came out quickly and was piping hot. Catered brilliantly for allergies and felt happy that everything was separated and overseen by a manager. Love the new honey dip that comes with the halloumi starter, a new favourite of mine. Shout out to Connor and Koby, top service and couldn’t be more helpful”

“Nice cafe. Great food. Great value. Can get busy at peak times. The food served here is really good value, particularly the meatballs which are extremely tasty. They also sell them in the food shop. If you are an IKEA Family Member you can get free Tea or Coffee on weekdays. Lots of seating. Very light.”

“Lovely friendly staff. Ordered a Bailey's Latte, a Machiato and a slice of cake which we shared between the two of us. The cake was lovely, served on a slate board and it came with strawberries and squirty cream. Various choices of milkshakes and iced coffee. Thank you ladies.”

A must visit, and experience true hospitality, which is lost in many restaurants in today's world. Great tasting food , efficiency and effective service. I would recommend Saracens to all. “Dropped in with my Dad on Sunday for a cuppa but ended up having a breakfast each as well. The food was excellent all made from local tasty ingredients. The service was lovely and super friendly. “"Wait, is THAT the building?" Yes, it is. Crazy, quirky location at the end of an old toll bridge with a giant selection of sandwiches made to order, plus crisps, snacks, water, tea, etc.. We stopped by on consecutive days while our daughter was competing at a local sports ground, and everything we got both days was first-rate (the roast pork is sublime.) Nice staff, too. Lots of cyclists in evidence so clearly a popular rest stop.”

“Spoiled for choice when I went in here for the first time. I ended up with a 'chicken tikka flat bread', recommended to me by a regular, and thank you to that gent for his suggestion. Everything in the wrap was delicious with the perfect amount of filling to bread ratio. Nice coffee too, all great value and friendly staff.”

“This hidden gem is a must if you're in Nottingham and like fine food. Fletcher's Dining is at Nottingham College, staffed by students. We were recommended we visit here by a local friend, and our first time certainly won't be our last. You book the date you want, but be warned, they book up fast, and choose the meat or vegetarian menu, and then sit back and relax! The team met us at the door and although they were clearly nervous, they were friendly throughout. We had five different courses of delicious food, and in no way would you say this food was from someone in training, it was amazing. From braised pigs cheeks, to polenta cake, it was a taste sensation. Highly recommended, but do book early!”

“Since there's been a new manager the place has improved a great deal. Never once have I had a bad meal from here. The new staff and old one's are all very professional polite and always helpful. Even the food I've had on a takeaway basis has always been nice. Definitely one of my favourites in the area. They did a set meal with a band playing and was definitely my best night so far.”

All the staff are trained well - not a badly made coffee ever, and the service is always personable and tailored to you as an individual. We are blessed to have Portobello in our neighbourhood. It is a fun, relaxed vibe and the music is always top notch! I love the soft reggaeton play into the street, it brightens the day when doing mundane grocery tasks.”

“Not been to sandiacre fish bar for so long, however it never fails to please. Very welcoming and great customer service from Ange and Demi and the food was amazing would definitely recommend the scampi and the halloumi fries both come with salad if your trying to have a cheeky treat guilt free.”
