“Took my mother for early mother's day. She's very piccy and we have very different tastes in both pubs and food, however, we were all very satisfied with both the food and service. The new menu is great. We had the gnocchi, chicken tikka kebabs, fish and chips and chicken burger. All tasted great and the service was great - the team are very helpful, especially with me faffing about deciding!”

“A typical small town Spoons, nothing exciting on the Cask Ale front but the usual prompt efficient service. Excellent, regular 10 minute daytime bus service here to Nottingham with a stop right outside the pub and a dot matrix informing the time of the next few departures.”

“We had a lovely meal here this evening (Dad, Mum, 2 kids 10 & 8). We arrived at 7. The staff let us know that it was busy but the food arrived in good time anyway. The food was excellent. Our son demolished the Halloween Spider Burger whilst our daughter loved the 4oz kids gammon. Our food was great too. A lovely, country feel pub with good food and a kid friendly atmosphere. 5 Stars.”

“Had my friends birthday dinner here, we asked for a birthday surprise and they brought out a brownie with a candle for him which was a lovely gesture. The service was excellent, milkshake & the food was too die for, those peanut butter burgers are a must try! The wait time was super quick for 7 people ordering, we were surprised. We will be back again thank you guys.”

“I thought this was a very good deal, you eat free on your birthday and I got 20% off because either we dined before 5pm or was over 60 year old, it was £28 for me including a pint of lager. Some great choice of American inspired food. We all had different combo platters.”

“20/20 - Brilliant Afternoon Tea Experience for Two 5/5 Decor 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Food 5/5 Service Really liked the decor, set a nice scene, wasnt too busy and was very close to the loads of parking lots. The tea itself was nice and traditional, we opted for Ice Lattees as the weather was hot and they were fanstatic. The service was fast, friendly and attentive just as you expect from Hilton. There were also a small selection of board games, which was a really nice touch as we ended up playing snakes and ladders and having a really good time. Would I return - Yes !”

“Not normally open on Tuesdays, but went for Valentines dinner and had the tasting menu which was amazing. Normal size entries shared between the two of us so a LOT of food. Service was excellent, especially Cara. Everything was delicious and would have a hard time choosing a favorite. Reasonably priced.”

“5th July we have been to the Ferry Boat Inn and a had a lovely meal. Excellent value with nice food. It has a large car park. Very large eating area. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Service was quick. The location is absolutely beautiful next to the Trent. The three of us had a dessert off of the children's menu, and it was really good and an ample portion.”

“Had a lovely all you can eat breakfast for my birthday and the staff looked after us so well. My friend and I visited with our babies and they helped us with high chairs and fetching drinks and food from the buffet for us while we were breastfeeding which was such a huge help. Our eyes were too big for our bellies but they very kindly provided us with take away boxes so we didn’t have any waste. We ordered some Prosecco to have with our orange juice and when they heard it was my birthday they gave it to us on the house. Fantastic service, will definitely be back again!”

“One of our favorite local pubs! We've always had a wonderful time here with friends and family. The food is lovely, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. There’s even a soft play area in the next room, making it perfect for kids-couldn’t be better. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful; they even went out of their way to assist me when I had a car issue the other day. Highly recommended!”

“I stay at the Premier next door regularly for work. I always find the food excellent - apart from a poor meal on Father's Day but it was manic and we all have bad days. I had a fillet steak last night and it was absolutely amazing. It's one of the few places where a medium rare actually comes to you as a medium rare and the meat was sublime. Staff are always helpful and cheerful and it just has a nice, homely vibe. Highly recommended”

“There is a really nice atmosphere here, lots of space but nearly all the tables are occupied. We found space upstairs and we were served promptly. The stairs and toilets need a bit of love as they show age but otherwise the restaurant is pretty and well situated.”

“Tasty Seafood Treat at Wok & Go I tried the small MEE GEE SEAFOOD BOX at Wok & Go, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were spot on, and the portion was surprisingly filling for a small box. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice, welcoming vibe. I also have to mention the staff—super friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. If you’re craving some tasty noodles and a relaxed spot to enjoy them, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. I’ll be back for sure!”

“Amazing, busy, friendly. Took my pet hedgehog and was welcomed in like I was in the family. Everyone knows everyone, they accept new faces into the fold. Well stocked bar, efficient staff. The manager knows what she's doing. The people and atmosphere keep this place busy. You won't be disappointed.”
