“Absolutely love this cattery. The whole place is clean, they are very accommodating and can send updates if you ask. You can bring your cat’s bed/toys/food but they can also provide pretty much everything. They are highly professional, very knowledgeable and take extremely good care of our furry friends. I had a (now deceased) senior cat who was very anxious and he always was looked after as if he was their own. They were so good to him. My two kittens are currently there for their first stay and my mind is at peace. I know they will look perfectly after them.”

“We’ve just picked up our 5yo Boerboel from a long weekend at Downlands. Mikey is dog reactive and can be fairly fussy with people and I could not be happier with Andrew and the team. I called once a day to check in, and was reassured he was happy and in good hands. Upon collection he was very excited and had clearly had a good time. Highly recommended and we’ll definitely be using them again.”

“We’ve used Take The Lead ever since Fozzy was 6 months old - initially for puppy training, then daycare and occasionally dog boarding overnight. The team are lovely and great people and Fozzy runs to meet them when they pick him up - we always know he’s in great hands! Highly recommended.”

“Visited Heckfield Place for the second time this year, and the experience was every bit as impressive, if not more so, than our first stay last year. This place will always hold a special place in my wife and I’s hearts, and even objectively it stands out as one of the top-tier establishments we’ve ever stayed at. From the room quality and finishing to the food and breakfast offerings, every detail is beautifully executed. This time we had the privilege of dining at Hearth Restaurant, which was absolutely outstanding. The service was impeccable from check-in to check-out; there wasn’t a single thing you could fault them for. We also loved walking around the lovely grounds, enjoying the afternoon tea and cake service, and relaxing with drinks in the intimate Moon Bar. Everything felt seamless, from the interiors to the setting to the hospitality. In short, Heckfield Place is exceptional in every sense, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.”

“Simon & Jason are celebrating 20 years since they opened the Wellington Arms & it's packed every day when open with regulars & new 'word of mouth' clients. 10 out of 10 for quality of food, service, atmosphere & beautiful garden & surroundings. Great menu & daily dishes that made it difficult to choose. I had the 2xbaked cheese souffle stacked with a mountain of finely grated parmesan & my friend had scallops (both simply the best) followed by perfectly cooked calves liver on a bed of mashed potato & leeks with pancetta & perfect mix of herbs then their home-made ice cream.”

“we stayed at the Crazy fox boutique on the evening of the 20th april 2024, the same day we got married close by at Rackleys. The booking process was straight forward and once booked i called the hotel explaining we would be arriving late and was that an issue and would we be able to drop our bag off on the morning of the wedding, Tina was amazing on the phone and helped me sort out the little details, and on the day of i got a text from Emma letting me know she was there and was on hand to show me how to use the keypad and helped me with bringing in the bags to the room. I dont think i have ever had such amazing attentive service from a hotel before ever. The morning after the wedding emma brought us up breakfast to our room along with fresh brewed coffee, again it was these amazing little touches which made the stay for us, i have not mentioned how lovely and clean, spacious and comfy the bed was, it was like sleeping on a pillow. The hotels location was perfect as we went for a walk after breakfast and enjoyed a lovely view from the bridge close to the hotel on our first morning as a married couple. In conclusion the hotel is lovely the service is outstanding and breakfast was incredible, you will not regret booking this fabulous little boutique hotel”

“We had the set lunch at the Pot Kiln....fabulous food and fantastic service...with a competitively priced menu! The Iberian inspired menu is full of flavour and well presented...From the padron peppers to the Catalan fish stew to the Basque cheesecake with macerated berries...the flavours are nicely balanced and cooked to perfection! Moreover, the great selection of wines nicely complemented the amazing food! The countryside of Yattendon is an idyllic setting to enjoy fantastic food and brilliant service at the Pot Kiln!”

“We booked Little Park Farm for our wedding in June and it was perfect. Zara & Simon were amazing hosts, with regular contact throughout the wedding planning process. The venue is so beautiful and the rooms were clean and spacious for our wedding party. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. Our day ran so smoothly thanks to the help of Zara, Simon and staff who couldn't do any more for us. We will always be so grateful that we chose this venue for our perfect day!”

“I recently visited Thames Quarter to settle my family member down in the new building. There were a few things within the flat for which we needed support and Mark came in as a life saver. Not only did he fix and replace furniture but did this with so much warmth and affability. Mark's ability to create the perfect home with changes here and there and support in terms of being a call away has left us as the most relaxed residents. He is exceptionally good with application of his skillset but what is even more heartwarming is the way he approaches everything. Meeting him in the corridors is such a pleasant experience. “I was recommended 3Cs by a friend who had her cat board with them. My cat Oliver had never boarded before and is an indoor cat. I was extremely worried about having him board as he knew nothing other than the home were in and the people who live here. I was made to feel as ease straight away by the staff at 3Cs they were in constant communication with me about Oliver and emailed me as much as I needed to feel better about him being there and even sent photos on him. The cattery provided all the food love and care that he would have at home. I just want to thank everyone that cared and loved Oliver while he stayed. Since being home he has been so loving, affectionate and needy which has been lovely for us! We will definitely be using them again for future holidays.”

“Where to start? There are so many positives to say about Dog Trouble. All the staff are amazing, but Jo really is incredible; her knowledge is invaluable. She has a very calm, non judgmental yet confident aura. Our dog has been going to Dog Trouble for over a year now, he’s done workshops and boarded and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the facilities and expertise. We fully support everything Dog Trouble stand for and are so thankful for all the help we’ve received so far.”

“Spire Ridge have lovingly looked after our cat whenever we go away since he was a kitten. We were unsure about catteries based on the others we had visited, but then we found Spire Ridge which have amazing large indoor pens, where our boy is always happy and comfortable, and we can leave him there knowing he's getting the care and attention he needs whether we're just gone for a weekend or for a couple of weeks.”

“We took our 2 cavachons here for 12 days, I am honestly so happy with the care from this place. We asked for updates and they would reply and send updates and pictures along side. Our boy was overweight and we asked for suggestions and if they could try and get him to loose some weight, he lost 1kg being here and we now have a routine and he has since lost another 1kg being with us at home, we couldn't be happier with him. I could not recommend Honeybottom more! Both ladies on the reception and phones are lovely too! Which really helps. Thanks again, see you guys in June! X”

“Stayed in Christmas cottage for one night as we had dinner at the Fat Duck. Perfect location for that as it’s just at the rear of the Hinds Head. Really cute cottage. Small but perfect for couples. Denise was so kind and friendly - what a welcome! Cottage has everything you need, including a well stocked fridge for breakfast the next day. IMO reasonably priced for what you get and what you’re about to fork out for dinner!”
