“I love the service in this restaurant. The staff is always super nice and helpful and the food is ready in few minutes. I used to come here regularly when I lived in Reading and now I returned when I came back for holiday. The kebabs are always big and if you get to finish one then you're probably going to be full, which I really love. The sauces are good and the menu/box is a really big portion. The fries are always great! Now they also have a pink coconut infused bread which they said it's a bit smaller than the regular normal one but I could barely see the difference. Super recommended!”

“We are regulars at Bluegrass, we usually visit 3-4 times a year. Our last visit was a Friday lunch, we have arrived before 12:00, so it wasn't too busy. The QR code ordering and direct payments using the app is really easy. The menus are varied, with lots of options for everyone and we always try to get something else to try out. Through a number of visits, having tried over a dozen of the menu options, there wasn't a single one that we would not like or would not order again. This time we have gone with the Boston BBQ Brisket, Burnt ends poutine and a couple of sides. The portions were huge and all food was delicious. Upon request, we have also been given a food box to take any leftovers with us. The service was fast, server helpful, the premises clean and we are looking forward to call again. I personally like the fact they support Siren, Reading's own brewery and have their IPA on the drinks menu.”

“Festive Feast with Friends at Beefeater, Southcote. Christmas Eve called for a festive get-together with friends, and Beefeater provided the perfect setting. Snagging a table for six was a Christmas miracle in itself! We kicked things off with their starter deal – £17.99 for four dishes. The chicken wings were a tad over-fried, but the garlic bread and halloumi fries were spot on. Mains were a real treat. The chicken burger was juicy, the fish and chips were classic, and the salmon with asparagus was cooked to perfection. But the real star of the show? The mushy peas! Service was friendly and efficient, our server (didn't catch her name, sadly!) kept everything moving smoothly despite the festive rush. Overall, a great spot for a pre-Christmas catch-up with friends. Good food, good company, and good times. Happy days indeed!”

“The Kobeda Palence has wide range of tasty dishes available. Is is a moderatly big restraint wich is quite airy and spacious. This restraint has some unique style high backed chairs and tables. (See photoes). There is also a A.T.M machine within this restrant. There is a take-away bar here as well as plenty of indoor seating available. The food quality is Amazing and delicious, and I would come again. Kobeda Palace is located on Oxford Road, Reading, and is only a minute wald from Tesco Extra.”

“I was so excited to attend the open evening today! They did a voucher for a free plate of food and free drink with live music outside! The food was delicious! The rib meat really fell off the bone! The pulled pork was so succulent! The salad was nice and crisp and the fries were perfectly seasoned. They really have got it right! I can't wait to visit properly!”

“Came in today with my family for dinner, we had amazing experience, our food came out very quickly, staff were very efficient; Charley, Shannon and Ellie were on the bar massive thank you to them for looking after us ❤️ Compliments to the chefs Anna & Corey- we asked for their names at the bar- very fast with the orders and met our dietary requirements so thank you again! “We are locals and potters had always seemed a bit dated . But now it has been refurbished completely different! Nice interior and the steak is fantastic cooked exactly how we wanted. Lovely deserts as well, recommend the poached pears. Not too busy which is nice and good friendly service. Recommend.”

When i got home, i realised I hadn't registered my number plate & was unsure exactly how long we'd been in the restaurant so rang & spoke to Mo. “I had the best lunch here the other day. I really enjoyed my chicken burger and pudding. I asked for a custom order for my sundae and it was no problem for them, they made a delicious one. Good choice of food, lovely staff. Sometimes I find beefeater to be a bit hit and miss but my recent experience here was brilliant.”

“Visited recently for breakfast with a group of friends. The breakfast is all you can eat, but served freshly cooked. It’s great value for money, as you are able to have the continental and the cooked. Our waitress Georgia was very attentive and friendly, ensuring that the breakfast was served quickly as one of our party had to leave. Would visit again”
