I have had to visit the surgery a few times over the past couple of years and I honestly can't fault the service I've received. Yes, it's difficult to get an appointment but talking to friends and relatives this seems to be a common theme throughout GP surgeries and not just this one. I fear this is just a reflection on the NHS as a whole and not the individual surgeries. Every doctor I've seen has been patient, understanding and helpful and I've come away reassured that everything that could be done has been done. Obviously other people out there may have had bad experiences but I can honestly say that all my visits have been extremely positive.”

I am a 16 year old girl and ever since I first step foot into the clinic, she has gone above and beyond to make sure every tiny little intricate detail goes checked. Let me have a massive cry in her office, was ridiculously kind and overall a pleasure. I have never met such a pleasant, lovely doctor. Your child will be under AMAZING care with her. “My first experience with North Anston Pharmacy and I was very pleased with the service delivered. I had contacted the GP earlier in the day for a suspected UTI and with no appointments available they referred me to two pharmacists in Kiveton. These pharmacists were unable to help on that particular day due to no pharmacist on shift and unable to access the system respectively. Upon the third referral to North Anston Pharmacy, I travelled to the pharmacy and the Pharmacy Manager (David i believe), who was very empathetic and understanding was able to see me that day and go through a consultation in order to be able to prescribe me antibiotics for the UTI. As it was a Friday I was very please to have this sorted prior to the weekend, as it was very painful, but has since cleared up. Many thanks for the great service!”

“Took my adult son here due to him getting a foreign body stuck in his eye. He was seen within 20 minutes by minor injuries practitioner. She tried her best but couldn't remove it with the equipment available in the department so referred him to the eye clinic nearby - the A&E receptionist made him an appointment for an hour later and he was then seen (earlier than his appointment) by a Dr who quickly sorted it. All staff were efficient and friendly on this occasion. After a couple of poor experiences in the past it seems to have improved and I couldn't fault the service we received.”
