Water park in Sheffield

“Lovely woodlands with some hidden hideyholes for kids. There is a small park next to the parking, sometimes it's a bit messy after teenagers hang out but locals and visitors tend to help tidy it. Good access to Concord park. Has a decent running route and the dog really liked it too!”

“We had an evening meal here and very much enjoyed. The food was delicious and worth the price. The atmosphere is lovely here, especially sitting outside in the summer. When seated inside we were provided table service which was very efficient. The staff were polite and friendly. We will definitely be returning.”

“We visited Matlock bath and were waiting for the gardens to open for the Illuminations event. I wasn't expecting the aquarium to be as packed as it was. It's a little 'tardis' and seems to keep going once inside. There are many tanks with different aquatic life, but the highlight for me was the old swimming baths which is filled up with the spring waters, and enjoyed by the giant koi carp. Of course you can buy a handful of food from a gumball machine and feed them too. Also inside were some holographic pictures and a hall of mirrors. Recommended, especially for the price.”

“There's some weird-ass negative reviews that definitely don't represent, what is arguably the best chip shop in the area. I've been a regular weekly customer for about 10yrs and never had anything other than great food & service. Consistently high quality and always friendly, welcoming service from Alex and the team. “Lovely hot and fresh pizza, nice and thin and not too much cheese. Toppings were all so tasty too, and maybe a weird compliment but the distribution was perfect (I hate when it’s all piled onto one part of the pizza). I built my own with sausage, meatballs, turkey bacon, red onion, sun dried tomato and hot honey - thank me later for this combo!! Oreo milkshake is great too. Might be my new favourite takeaway pizza!”

“Definitely better than the 4.3 average stars it currently has. It's a touch tired in the changing room area but my daughter and I loved our visit on the whole. Something for everyone and every age group, our 1.5 hour time slot flew by. The three main flumes were fast and thrilling without being terrifying. The diving board area was good fun. Normal main pool with lane swimming section. 4 lane waterslides to race down. Definitely be back and we live an hour away, so I think it's worth the drive over.”

“Visited here on the 2nd October to celebrate our toddlers birthday and the entire family was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The building is warm and welcoming; the seasonal display in the entrance cafe is adorable and the staff are polite and approachable. The family changing rooms are very convenient and kept to a good standard. When entering the pool, was pleased to know it was a good temperature and the entertaining features in the children’s pool were such a hit. The little one was smiling from ear to ear the entire time and we had a great family swim. To finish off a lovely day out, we had warm drinks (shout out to my amazing oat milk pumpkin spice latte) and food at the cafe. Lola stood out amongst the staff working this day; she was so polite and accommodating of our dietary needs- the little one has multiple food allergies and she went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, and all carried out with a smile. Thank you for an amazing day out!!”

“We have had a few carverys here and the food is excellent.we also had our wedding reception here on 29th july ('23) it was perfect, Karen (landlady) pulled out all the stops and made our day perfect.Although we did our own food, The room looked amazing. The bar staff were so lovely and friendly and the DJ was brilliant anything that was requested he played as well as his own choice of music, excellent. I would highly recommend this venue for any celebration, Karen makes everyone feel special.fantastic place, amazing staff, wonderful Landlady, thankyou all so much. We.ll be back for lunch!”

“I had my wedding at Mosborough on 28.06.2025 and it was the most amazing day!!! I can’t thank and praise the staff enough, from the wedding coordinators who guided me through the process to all the staff there on the day! Everyone was so kind and helpful, they couldn’t have done anymore and all my guests said the same!! We had no complaints, and the coordinator on the day kept touching base to make sure everything was running smoothly! If anyone is considering staying at the hotel the rooms are lovely, if the weather is hot just simply ask the desk for a fan as these were used!!! I would recommend this venue to any and everyone!!”

“An absolutely epic place for kids and adults alike! So interactive and interesting it kept us all entertained for hours. I loved the set up representing the 4 elements earth, wind, fire and water plus I found the big melt interesting (a little jumpy for my 2 year old). The outside park was huge and if we lived closer we would be there all the time! They had standard play area equipment but standpits I couldn't get my 2 year old out of and a water park I couldn't get my 5 year old out of! 100% recommend and we will be going back!”
