“I've been on the hunt for great fish and chips for years, and today, I finally found it at The Bistro Shamrock Quay. The batter was perfectly crunchy, and not greasy. The chips were just right – crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. It's evident that every aspect of the dish, from the sourcing of the fish to the cooking technique, has been meticulously considered. From now on, whenever the craving for fish and chips strikes, there's only one place I'll be heading – The Bistro at Shamrock Quay. Trust me, once you've tasted their fish and chips, there's no going back.”

“Absolutely amazing staff, I am homeless, and every time i come with 1 or 2 £ they always have me food. Amazing people, and I wish there was more in this world. The big chain business as Domino, Kfc, or McDonald's they won't give you a portion of fries. Which is very sad to be honest. It's a small family run shop/ restaurant that helps you. Don't give it a miss. Food is excellent and the stuff is out of this world”

“Workers were extremely polite and patient while I decided what I wanted of their extensive menu, I decided on the burger after much deliberation and this was a feast for my taste buds let me tell you, I’ve come to expect little from a burger from a chip shop but this has blown any other chip shop burger into sheer irrelevance for me.the pickled egg i also purchased was by far the best I have come across in my 16 years of life, only to be described as Pickled to perfection. “We found this place while attending a gig in Southampton. Absolutely WOW. The place looks fantastic, the staff were very friendly, order was taken super quick and food served shortly after. The steaks are superb, the BBQ burger is one of the best I have ever had. Then came the shocker, the price? I had to check as I thought I had been undercharged but no. 2 meals were really less than £35.00 including service charge. Why is this place not rammed?”

“Last minute decision to eat lunch here after spending morning on a boat. Great spot for a sunny day with outdoor seating and amazing views. The place immediately sets a relaxed vibe. Fabulous welcome by the very charismatic DM Nathan. He was very friendly and accommodating (we forgot to book beforehand), there was 6 of us, incl 2 hungry, excited kids. Food was well presented, very tasty. We have chosen lobster from specials, it was fab. Kids had pasta with meatballs and pizza, both lovely. Staff were all in good mood, friendly, very busy. We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and definitely recommend this fab place. Many thanks to all.”
