“Decided to have dinner here after a show at the Mayflower. Had some starters, pasta and shared a dessert. The food was amazing, heavenly soft ciabatta with pesto, sauce in seafood pasta was delicious and one of the best tiramisu we've had in the UK. Will definitely be back to try specials! The atmosphere was also nice, with soft quiet music and gentle light. Service was good, we felt cared for but not overly, which I always appreciate. It's a great place for a nice dinner with a date or a mate, highly recommend to try.”

“Had an amazing time at Turtle Bay for bottomless brunch for my friend’s hen do! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was buzzing and the drinks started flowing quickly. A special shoutout to Eloise, who made the whole experience even better. She was incredibly efficient, always making sure our glasses were topped up without us needing to ask. She was also friendly and genuinely warm, checking in with us regularly and making sure everything was spot-on. The food was delicious and the cocktails were fresh and strong — you definitely get good value for money. Would absolutely come back again. “Found this little gem - and didn't expect to find this view on my way out of Totton! Small fishing lodge cafe sitting amidst 3 lakes and beautiful views. Service staff were lovely and attentive; happy to chat but not disturbing at all. Wide variety of milkshakes to choose from, after a lovely Full English Breakfast. Will definitely come back.”

There were locals propping up the bar (always a good sign), the staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.”

“We havelllƙn't been to The Cricketers Inn before, had no views from friends or family and briefly looked at a couple of reviews before booking three adults and two small dogs in for Sunday Lunch. When we got to the pub, we were faced with our first challenge - the car park was packed. Lucky for us, we found the last available slot. We'd been told that our table was in the bar area because of the dogs and, as so often happens. expected to be sat in a 'rougher' part of the pub. Not so here. The location was quiet, spotless, roomy and rather pleasant - as was all areas of the Pub. The service was excellent throughout with friendly, courteous and efficient staff. All that's left is to review the food. I was pleasantly surprised. The pork, which I selected, was loin and not belly as many pubs now serve and the vegetables are served separately. My two fellow diners chose lamb which many pubs have dropped from the menu on cost grounds. All three meals were well presented with generous portions and extremely flavoursome. All three of us (and the dogs) ⁷ùjǰhighly recommend you book your Sunday Lunch at The Cricketers Inn in the near future.”

“Thank you Jordan!! Amazing experience (service and food) at ASK Bournemouth! ..... My friend and I were unable to see the movie we wanted at the BH2 Odeon cinema, so we went to Ask Italian at the BH2 centre for food instead. Despite being very busy they were able to fit us in and for that we are so grateful to the man who got us a table. Sadly, we didn't get his name, but he was so accommodating and friendly. The manager of the restaurant was also so helpful and made us feel so welcome, but it was our server Jordan who really stole the show! I own a private medical clinic so I am always very aware of the service I receive and all I can say is that we were blown away by Jordan’s helpfulness and manner, he was so attentive and despite us not intending to have a dessert because we were full, Jordan’s upselling skills were brilliant as he introduced us to the smaller dessert with a coffee option which was perfect. On a very busy evening the whole team were efficient and welcoming and service was fast and the food was absolutely delicious (thank you Chef too!). A great evening was had and, to the whole team (and especially Jordan!) we are so very grateful! We will be back! Thank you so much!”

“Had a really lovely bottomless brunch at the weekend. Sam our server was great and made it fun. Great pizzas and starters so it was a really good deal. Also - the building has lovely high ceilings so and the tables are nicely spaced. So a lovely venue, great food and great servers like Sam!”

“Popped in on Halloween night as we were running behind on dinner due to trick or treating with the kids and they left us no dinner. Saw their Facebook post on special Halloween offers so gave it a go. Lovely friendly staff, even the chef popped out in to restaurant area. Sausage and mash was lovely, nice touches and locally sourced sausages. Couldn't stay long and only moved to Swanmore 3 weeks ago so at least we know this place is a food one to go to in future. I opted for the roast lamb, which was cooked to perfection – tender, flavourful, and accompanied by the most delicious gravy. My partner chose the fish and chips, and it was hands down the best we’ve ever had. The portions were generous, and the presentation was top-notch. What truly set this place apart, though, was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. They even took the time to chat with us about the history of the pub, which added a lovely personal touch to our visit. To top it all off, the dessert menu was a dream. We shared a sticky toffee pudding that was simply divine – the perfect end to a fantastic meal. “Great food - the best curry house for miles. Ahmed is always willing to adjust set dishes to the customer’s wishes. The food is terrific and very reasonably priced. Loads of choice on the menu too. It’s pretty basic so if you want tablecloths, linen napkins and flock wallpaper, this isn’t the place for you but it is if you want a really great meal.”
